The crucifixion part was a metaphor …Ronnie feels crucified for his beliefs and standing on what he believes is right. The imagery is beautiful and how often we all feel. Being torn between the good and evil inside us. And those that are trying to find our way authentically, become targets of those that blindly follow one side or another. “Dont be a sheep”. I would say that it's a parallel. It's not Ronnie and Jesus. It's Ronnie/Jesus. The same with Watch the World Burn. This was Jesus/Ronnie in the past. Watch the World Burn is Jesus/Ronnie in the near future comming to judge and punish the world. At the end of this video they get the armor they wear in the other video.
1) Prequel: Ronnie becoming who he is by being crucified (metaphorically by the public) by the people in power and learning he has power over some people (those that hate that are always talking about him behind his back - the power that he is always on their mind). He gets pulled in both directions (good and evil) and doesn't pick a side. Then he finds his suit. 2) Popular Monster: Still being crucified in the public eye so he turns into a popular monster and murders a bunch of people. 3) Ronald: While being transported after getting picked up for the PM murders, he breaks out of the police vehicle and escapes. He meets God in Purgatory (Tech 9) and He has him use his suit, become a hero and fight the devil. 4) Watch the World Burn: Even after being a hero, the public still looks down on him and turns against him so he turns into the villain once and for all and Burns the World. 5) Last Resort: The world is fixed.
I feel watch the world burn is before Ronald as in he gets his suit goes down and destroys the world because of that it still is being controlled by people in power..ends up in hell after destroying it all given his suit back by tech 9 and sent to fight the devil when rebuilds the world in last resort
The interesting point for me is that at the end of the ascension sequence its almost as if neither the angels or the devils succeed in capturing his soul as there is an explosion which throws back both. He then finds resurrection in a suit of armour that in the future (WTWB and Ronald) will protect him in a fight against both extremes of self proclaimed good and evil. In the end I think all this has a very simple message ‘Let me be my own man. Stop trying to tell me how I should be’.
If I recall yes, Ronnie isn't religious, he isn't taking a jab at religion he's essentially showing that he's battling good and evil because neither side wins and always has issues. From what I got he's showing he is doing his own thing, his own person without following and being chained down

In defense, while the crucifixion may not be mutually exclusive to Christianity and Christ, the Crown of Thorns, Ascension, Angels and Demons fighting, the words “Why have you forsaken me?” Are all biblical references. As a Christian, I don’t care. I enjoy the song and think the way he uses the biblical imagery to portray a deeper message is fantastic. I genuinely doubt that he is taking a shot a Christianity, and even if he was, so what? He is entitled to his expression of opinions the same way everyone else is. Bottom line is, the song is fire, it’s got a great message about taking a stand for what you believe and being unique rather than following the masses and it gets people talking about hard things.
The suit for me as a christian made me think of the "armor of God", idk if thats what it is or not. As a christian im glad i found this channel that listens to secular music and discusses it from a christian POV
Yes crucafixion isn't just about our Lord Jesus it was around further back as the ultimate torture and death commonly used by the Romans. Ronnies depiction could be translated as that but in truth i don't believe at all that was his intensions Ronnie battles his own demons and has trouble trusting people specially sheeple some can be like venomous snakes ready to attack when your guards are down. Unless Ronnie tells us so it's left for our own translation about his videos but that what makes his music great it's thought provoking.
The crucifixion was not an exclusive punishment of Jesus. And from what I have read at the end it was one of the cruelest punishments by the Romans and that was to instill the greatest possible fear in the people and well everyone gives it the meaning they want as far as I am concerned I understand that If you fight for a cause contrary to what the system plans, you end up crucified and that is figuratively but in the end the point is that you are censored or eliminated because in this world fighting for what is right is evil and doing evil is the most normal !
Scholars estimate as many as 150,000 people were crucified, including 6,000 in a single day after the revolt of Spartacus. Jesus is the only one with a religion modeled after him, so his followers don't see that he was but a grain of sand in the zen garden of Roman order. To them, it was just another punishment being doled out. They didn't see him as special, a prophet, a messiah, just a rabblerouser who needed to be quelled. So they quelled.
You guys should definitely go backwards and go down the Ronnie Radke Rabbit hole... There's definitely ALOT more to learn about Falling in Reverse and Ronnie himself
I don't think it had anything to do with Jesus, he was just using the imagery to tell his personal story, imo.. I think prequel is his public fall and his friends/industry turning on him, watch the world burn is his return to the scene and rise to the top, and ronald is him surviving through all the hardships to claim his victory... That's just how I perceived them, anyway.

What if the armor in the end is The Armor of God in Ephesians 6?
The suit for me as a christian made me think of the "armor of God", idk if thats what it is or not. As a christian im glad i found this channel that listens to secular music and discusses it from a christian POV
Many celebrity nowadays they do make a video that offense Christianity brother you need Jesus bro not the idol
May God bless you
It would be nice if some one would speak about the Music insted of the Video
“They say God is real. I disagree” - Drugs
“If that were true, we’d all be free”
If Eminem and Ted Nugent had a love child!
😂right on the money
For someone don't what satanic is y'all shall do research, the only problem with that because many celebrity nowadays they disrespect Christian religion in their video😢
Ronnie fighting the divison while most just fall in line like a braindead cattle.
Ok Jesus wasn’t the only one to hang on the cross the Roman’s used it to make examples
Hello there
Many other were crucified. Any one speaking again those in control to thieves. Remember the thief who talk to JC. Ronnie is talk out against social media and haters who hate for no reason. Maybe some talking to government.
😂😅😅jesus wasnt crucified. That is a church created story to empower themselves over the masses of weak, needy, and mindless. Jesus is still dead and buried where he died at the age of 106.
interesting that there's all this religious imagery. it's almost as if Jesus is influential in Ronnie's mind
