Your collection is wonderful! I love the way at the end you talked about ideas and how the stones inspire your design. You are so enthusiastic about creating, you are delightful and genuine and I am eager to watch more of your videos!
This was fun to watch! I love gemstones, i also wouldn't mind just collecting them. I love their properties and the aura. I'd like to know which stones are harder/softer.. I love watching your videos. Thank you for sharing.
The desert scene if you turn it upside down with the dark on the top is a sunset over cliffs and ocean. The blooming stone and some others that you showed screamed universe and galaxies to me. Not the labradorite, that was all flash like Northern Lights. I have never seen them in person though, I am a Northern California girl and haven’t traveled enough! Love to see you make these crystals and stones into jewelry, but I know what you mean, I have pieces I have kept for many decades just to play with!, Sue🐝
Labradorite is magical for making jewelry. Often lab cabs do have a prettier flash on the back!! I have thousands of them im sitting on. Need my finger to grow back together so I can get back to creating again!!
Sapphires are perfect, was very happy with them :D Got them from instagram.com/rkgemsco/?hl=pl on Instagram, great seller :) Yes, gemstones shopping rules!
For me it would be very good to see a video about gemstones. The different gemstones, their names, their characteristics, ... I'm thinking about to start with wire wrapping. It's so very beautiful what you can do, and the beauty of the stones, ... a short time ago i have found videos in youtube about wire wrapping and i can watch the videos over and over again. For me it would be helpful to know more about gemstones. My english is bad but i hope you can understand what i wrote.
I had to laugh ! I swear we have almost the same identical collection !!! Except I have a lot more bumble bee but I haven't made anything with any of them yet. Sometimes I hate to let them go !! lol !!!
Hahahaha, wow, that's so awesome!! :D Ad I can't blame you Deb, these gems are sooo amazing 😊😊😊 I have some favourites too that are so hard to let go of.... lol :))
I can't wait to set it, but at the same time I can decide on the setting and it keeps me from making! hahaha :D I will make it in the near future though ❤️
I would love to know more about the creation process. I have several stones and I am a little lost. It would help me a lot to see you creating until the final piece. It is an inspiration to see the passion with which you speak and work. Thanks in advance and Kisses
those smarags are rough emeralds, btw love watching your videos, especially seeing your stunning smile :) if i may suggest, you might wanna look for some petrified woods too, they have gorgeous patterns
Word, that's an awesome collection. What about the little bag of red stones far right in the middle row inside the second box with agate, amethyst, and labradorite?
A wonderful video as always thank you. But I don't understand why you are talking about using this here and that there when I'm going to steal the lot and hoard them... Oh OK so I'm not, but I might try... They are a great gathering of rich samples and I can't see how you could bear to part with them, one at a time or as part of a collection sold to a rich potentate... how could you split them from their friends? Yes alright I would love an in depth look at them with information on how to treat them, yes, I need to learn more. I've been looking at what I would need equipment wise to set some cz's in tube mounts, a slow start to a complex and fascinating part of our craft. Have you watched Scaffoal here on you tube? Wow an absolute wonderful, skilled jeweller who shows us how with nothing hidden but the number of years he worked to get that good... So take care dear lady and another fine video soon please...
SUBLIME!! Thank you for sharing your beautiful collection. You are wonderful and an inspiration. I totally know what you mean. I'm also in lluuurrrvvv with stones and crystals.----_aaaaaa- that glorious labradorite. Exquisite. Cant wait to see your collection (where? on etsy?) Love the idea of the polar bear and flower in the bale. YES YES - please share the process of making- would be wonderful. What are those beautiful round 'picture' stones called?
Love this video!!😍 I love looking at gemstones, I'm considering going to the GIA for Gemology mainly online🤔 to he lab class is pretty expensive, anyways!! Loveee your collection!
Great video! If you want to create a scène that matches the gems but you’re afraid the pendant will become to large, you might consider to create that scène in the necklace that is holding the gemstone pendant? Just an idea 😄 I’m very curious what you are going to make with all of these.
Hi . My boyfriend purchased allot of different gems in different cuts on action thinking that we could sell it, we did not. I now have no clue on what to do. I had idea of make it into jewelry. I was wondering is there a place I could buy gold or silver rings, bracelets or earrings that are without a stones and then put the stones ? Any advice or suggestion would be greatly appreciated.
Hahaha, omg James I'm so sorry! 😂 I knew I'd give someone anxiety with this, because it stressed me out too, when I was editing this video :)) hahaha 😂
That brown stone definitely looks like the Australian desert. If you need any close ups of Japanese Cherry Blossoms for inspiration I have a few I could send to you 😉. Loved your collection. The amethyst’s are stunning!
ahh, thank you sweet Page! Really appreciate it :)) I love Amethysts too, can't wait to create something with them. But will wait until I gather some more unique ones :)
I am super jealous! What a lovely collection. How long has it taken you to build your collection? I am in the process of buying stones, but sometimes I get so overwhelmed with deciding what to buy and what sizes to get. I think I'll just have to start small and build slowly.
hahaha, did I get you stone envy? :D yasss hahaha 😍 Just kidding, that wasn't my agenda, at all! :)) How long it's taken? I guess since the day I've started, I was purchasing some gems here and there....But I was also using the ones I had along the way, and then buying new ones. My current collection consists of stones I mostly purchased across, maybe, last year and a half? But definitely a year. I agree, start small and build slowly, it's the best way! And you won't feel overwhelmed either. Will be easier to focus on projects, having specific stones for it (and helps save money!) :))
Hiya Lady Stardust. I was just watching a video on Arizona & remembered the piece on this vid that looks like desert. Have you used it yet? I would love it made into a neckless for me about 20 inches. It may be as near to Arizona as I get, so... How is the new bench working out? Take care & stay safe...
I haven't used it yet, for now I've been keeping it in my stash haha 😀 Thank you for this suggestion, though I already had a plan for it in mind and won't be able to use it for the custom order, I'm sorry Stephen! As for the bench, it's perfect, helps so much!
@@TheArtOfMetalsmithing OK, if you find a simular stone can you use it to make this for me? It was good to see the bench in use, even brushing off the limal... Take care
hiya flower giving your age away as well as still making your own tea i don't know, the thing about gemstones is there so fascinating i have far to meny my self i don't think i will ever use them all, i don't now make as much jewellery as i used to as rising prices in silver are getting a bit on the steep side, take care flower keep the videos coming there spot on and STOP MAKING YOUR OWN TEA.
hold right there, why would I stop making my own tea? Hahahahaha 😀 Are you trying to deprive me from my favourite ritual in the world?? I don't think so hahah :)) Just kidding, but seriosuly, I LOVE making tea, drinking tea, hawing tea close to me. I'm a tea drinker, nothing will change that 😄😄😄 I'm happy you've liked my video, more is coming soon! Not all gems have to be turned into jewellery pieces, having them as a collection is very nice, personally to me :)

Awesome collection! Please tell me, do you still have the light brown Picture Jasper, I think that's the name, the one you said looks like the seaside? I would love to purchase it from you to give to my mom! Name your price! ❤
Hi Sarah! That's very sweet of you my dear, thank you! I do have this gem, I've been keeping it for the collection I have planned for this Spring. I'm sorry, but I will only be able to sell it as a jewellery, I hope you understand 🙏
i love your videos! how to you remember the price of your gems? do you just do a average a per carat? i'm really unsure how to organise my prices for my stones now i'm getting a fair few lol
I'm always writing the prices down, and keep them with stones, in my notebook and I also have invoices for references. You could also create a simple spreadsheet, where you would input the name of the stone, where you bought it and the price. This log will give you a clear view :) Hope that helps!

I would truly love to learn more about the properties of the different gemstones.
what a well balanced outlook you have, we all should have that attitude about our lives
thanks for sharing your feels for the gemstones, just having them around! I can relate:)

Bumblebee jasper is one of the toxic gemstones due to arsenic I learnt. I’m avoiding that one!
that picture jasper is GORGEOUS open back with a few asymmetrical prong settings that would be a cool pendant

LABRADORITE 💙💙💙
yess, it's such a gorgeous gemstone! :))
where in Poland did you buy the emeralds and sapphires?
I visited the gem show near Katowice, I don't remember the name of that place, sorry! But it was organised near Katowice in a uni/college building.
9:49 That is not natural citrine that is heat treated amethyst
Exactly, was just about to say the same
How can I buy
I need an intensive education🎓💝
amethyst are more fragile than sapphire.
Overwhelmed by too many stones.....? You'll get over it!!!! Sometimes you need to grab something special when you see it, in moderation, of course!
