Beautiful location, BUT…this property has been badly damaged by previous storms. When you get a severe storm, the waves break over the wall and smash the houses with not only water but sizeable stones. That glass veranda would be first to go. I would bet a pound to a penny you wouldn’t be able to get insurance on the property for exactly that reason.
I’ll take you up on that bet! A search online reveals this house sold in April 2022 for just under £1.1m. I don’t think anyone would spend over a million on a house they couldn’t insure! 😂
@@asahdo actually I used to live in Kingsbridge for many years, and i happen to know that this property was badly damaged by at least two previous storms. I was there the day after the storms and saw it with my own eyes. Just because someone is dumb enough to spend over £1 million on a property that gets pounded by rocks and waves doesn’t prove your point. I will see if i can find the storm damage footage and post it to prove my point.
@@andyinnes2178 if you mean the freak storm of 2014, they’ve built a sea wall since then to protect torcross. Maybe that’s why insurance isn’t an issue 🤷🏽♀️
