I use Potters Pink for adding granulation to other colors or subtle colors in sand or cloud mixtures, so I want low pigment/heavy granulating. So I use W&N even though I primarily paint with Daniel Smith. Thanks for this comparison!

I like the Winsor and Newton the best. I bought a whole bunch of little tubes from just about everyone. I could get my hands on and handmade pans too I ended up settling on that as my favorite quite some time ago. I feel it splits the middle between the brownish Daniel Smith and the pinky versions. I also like it’s sturdiness.
I’m surprised at how many you’ve tracked down! I prefer the middle pink tones of the W&N and Roman Szmal versions. I have schminke and am not a fan of it -too brown for me and I find it difficult to rewet.
I like more pink tone. A Gallo and Kremen are my fav. I already own Winsor Newton’s Potters pink and I don’t like it. It comes so much darker unless you’re very careful with diluting
I feel so validated, I too noticed DS version of potters pink seemed very brown hued. It’s the only one on this list I’ve tried, but the one I replaced it with was PoemsAboutYou’s version, it’s very rich and actually has a distinctive pink hue to it, no brown whatsoever

I love my Roman Szmal potters pink, more pink leaning. I don’t think it’s granulating though - or maybe I don’t know how to get it to granulate. ( I am still learning on how to fiddle with water and the pigment to make it granulate)

Schmincke is my favorite mainstream, but only right out of the tube or once it's been completely rewet in my pan. I spray my palette 5-10 minutes before I use it. Out of the 120 pans in my main palette, the 2 Potters Pinks are some of the hardest to rewet. I usually take one of my stiffer brushes and move the water around on top of the pans, then add another drop of water haha. My other favorite is Progial Sons...or crap! I forgot the other one! Ugh!
I like Kremer AND Rublev - they're different enough to have both!

Roman szmal is beautiful, it granulates a little, maybe not as much as some others, but the pink tone is lovely. Thank you.

I like delicate pink of the A Gallo. You should try The Wallace Seymour version. It is like a super pigmented A. Gallo.

They were very close in rewet ability. Both work better with a spritz beforehand, that some others really don’t need. Thank you.
