i wish i heard this 2 years ago, i was a very skinny footballer that was very slick and athletic but i hated how i looked and was seeing gym toks so i decided to join and gym, i couldnt balance it with football every day so i gave up football and went hard on building muscle to the point that i got very big but it didnt even look good on me, i was getting way more attention from the opposite sex in a skinnier frame than the big ass frame i have, now ive returned back to football, im too big to be making the turns i use to, i gas out early and im not as flexible but ill keep pushing to get a happy medium, thats the goal, getting huge is so overrated and not as healthy as i thought, it made me feel so slow.
Im actually deciding to change my workouts and routine. Literally this guy convinced me, that you should train for strength, hypertrophy, stamina, endurance, power and not just for hypertrophy. Im 1.5yrs into my lifting journey, i was doing just machine presses, flyes, curls, tricep pushdowns, lateral raises, & avoding squat, deadlift & bench. After thinking it for days, im finally starting to train like mario rios says.

A squat would be more functional than a leg extension because there is a core stability demand and it teaches the leg muscles to work together, thus meaning it translates more into sports and/or everyday activities.

I have seen much more women thirst over moderately muscular veiny arms more than any body builder's physique lol. Bodybuilders are insecure and I am glad that there's someone preaching genuine fitness. Even the top actors are moderately muscular and toned. Even a bodybuilder like David Laid is not that "big" according to bodybuilding standards. But I am sure girls would prefer him over a lot of "bodybuilders"
