    Also the wheel size is not 90mm for all sizes. S size has 80mm while M has 84mm(my size), L and XL have 90mm. Still better than the MF500 which have 76mm wheels for my size but 80mm for other sizes 🙄.

    Hi bro. Nice video. But one opinion. I know hard boots are ideal for control because it shpports you well. But if you can buy a good brand and still want a soft boot that can make your feets feel good, brands like Rollerblade are great. I just bought one. Got it via my brother. Those are Rollerblade Macroblade. Soft boot but awesome. Soft boots are less supportive like you said, but this is good to wear. 👍

Also planning to buy an inline pair from a long time but I was hesitant to spend 7000rs on something which I may not use so often. My guess is that you cannot adjust the frame position under the boot ( to adjust for pronation for example) A slightly more expensive skate might be needed if one needs to adjust the frame position,the other draw back of a cheaper skate is that they normally cannot be upgraded with another set of frames or liners.
    If you do not need to adjust your frame position and these fit perfectly they would be great.Maybe my guess is wrong and the frames position can be adjusted?

    • @IndianSkateNoob
      @IndianSkateNoob  2 роки тому +2

      Yes, you're right. The frame position in these cannot be adjusted and the frames can't be upgraded either, but many people cannot afford a skate that's relatively expensive, even though they know it would be slightly better. The cost to function ratio is very good for this skate. 😁

    Hi sir. Are you really positive about Cosco? These are going to be my first ever skates so I really want to choose the correct one. I'm currently waiting for the L size of Cosco to be back in stock and hence rethinking once again. Will it be a safe descision to choose these ove the mf500. Don't really see these that often..
    Coscos seem awesome on paper. But are they worth going for over mf500. Decathlon as a company seems more promising when it comes to skates.
    Also thank you so much for your reviews.

    • @IndianSkateNoob
      @IndianSkateNoob  2 роки тому +2

      Hello bhai! No, go for MF500 if you have the budget. Cosco is great in the price range it is available at, but I personally prefer hardboot over softboot, seems more stable to me. It's all about what is comfortable for you. Try any hard boot and softboot skates and figure out what works for you. Cosco is a great option in the softboot category, MF500 is great in the hardboot category.

    • @exudosid
      @exudosid 2 роки тому +1

      @@IndianSkateNoob The price difference is like 2k. If hard boot's really that advantageous over the soft ones then sure thing. Also though you've already told this in your previous vids, I just wanna confirm it once again. My shoe size is 8UK and there's no option for 7.5 UK on the website and I'm hesitant to go with 7UK because when I'm wearing normal shoes of those size it really hurts a lot. Should I just go with 8UK?

    Thank you Akash Bhai. Your videos are so informative and inspiring. I was planning to buy Oxelo MF500, but was running low on a budget (Skate with safety gear costs you 10K). With this alternative now I can buy skate + safety gear within 7K range. I checked the price of this skate with the local sports shop it is available at 4K and oxelo 3 piece guard 2K and helmet 1.2K.
    I think as beginner I can start with these and later on once I become a pro like you after a year then will upgrade. (I will start saving from now only)

    interesting take ...i believe if some one is as passionate about skating as you guys are with the mad skills you show....a hard boot ...and even a carbon freestyle boot will be more your level...i have rollerblade soft boot ...the rivets holding the frame cannot take the stress of slides and jumps and eventually became loose (less than a year) ...so i moved on to a hard boot ... for someone new to inline skate a soft boot (cosco)should suffice ...also extendable sizes means that multiple users can learn with the same boot..(good for a skating academy).....but......if you want to move into the advanced phase ...as you , it would be much safer to use a hard boot for the stiffness and support and avoid injury. It would be nice to see if manufacturers take up the challenge to drive this sport to a level where cost vs quality make sense to the average user. if one is passionate about an iphone ...one can also spend the same amount on a skate ...atleast it will last longer than a iphone ...and there are multiple upgrades (I'm fully aware these are not available in India).... i do agree to supporting local brands ...but if you would be teaching your skills to others ...i would stress on a hard boot with all protection included. if i had to choose I'd go with the Decathlon...even at the price they sell at, the hardboot quality ,the liner and the wheels itself is very comparable to hardboots from FR, powerslide, flying eagle ,or even Roces sold abroad. it does have a micro ratchet buckle which even the more expensive brands mentioned above will not provide in their basic skate at that price point .

    • @IndianSkateNoob
      @IndianSkateNoob  2 роки тому

      Agreed. Hard boot does have its advantages and decathlon does give a very good quality in the price range it offers MF500 and MF900, but considering the cost to quality ratio, these Cosco skates are great too. If they can offer such an amazing product in 4k (and dhruv really does all kinds of slides on these), they hold the potential to make great hard boot skates under 7k too I think. The only thing is that they're missing the customers as of now, if they think it would sell well, there's no reason they wouldn't do it. That's what I want to promote. I understand your point completely though. 😁🤝

    • @cruelfx
      @cruelfx 2 роки тому +1

      @@IndianSkateNoob i wouldn't bother about the cost of skate when quality of skating is what you are going for and that is what i would take from this video and channel. As for your friend Dhruv ...who is really impressive with his comfortable moves, my concern is with the ankle support in the long term. As some one who has brokendown a skate to its individual parts ...i would like to point out a fact that an adult is between 70-100 kgs in weight .A size adjustable skate has moving parts under the sole (for extension ,also a spring push button),which may wearout or break during skating (if you are suggesting the cheap skate for anything advanced).This has known to cause major joint problems or accidents resulting in joint injury if your feetsoles are moving inside the skate. That is why size and fitting matters and the juggad of flexibility takes the rear seat. Skating for recreation or urban commute as much fun as it can be is still a dangerous sport. Confidence and control is of the utmost importance here (which you show here on your channel), would not have been possible if you did not buy those hard boots ...also some thing that you don't mention is the multiple times you would had hit your foot in a obstacle or a concrete step /metal pillar on the journey to learning those tricks. without a hard boot...one would have given up or wound up with less confident skating. I'm not trying to bash any opinion....these are my observations based on what your channel stands for which is quality skating vs quality recommendations....i really don't care about who is selling the skate ... a cheap skate does not substitute long term injury risk, and that is coming from experience. And the price diffrence is 2k ...Cosco or Nivia or any other brand who is really into skating as a commercial venture should up their game by providing locally made internationally competitive products and not hinge on the patronization based on Indian Brand. If you do a side to side comparision of the two skates you mentioned on video, looking into what science went into making the skate....it will be obvious which is better and 2 or 3k will be easily justified .......
      in the end ...price is not a option when your entire bodycontrol , comfort and the most important thing... Safety, is hinging on the skate you stand on.The reason decathon is outselling most other brands ...and not only in India is because it is a really good skate with the price ...i contemplated buying them ...but they were sold out(i tried buying them for a year)...eventually i ended up buying Powerslide Next110 for my urban commute ...after selling my tears.and i have never been so happy after the purchase, now i would not even buy an oxello anymore...point being the price is set for a reason and for a activity where one can feel and assess the obvious benifits of the additional cost under the feet i don't feel convinced in the use of a soft boot for jumps and impacts ...soft boot is for crusin and thats it ...you could use it for jumps and high impact skating ...but eventually you will be limited and in discomfort ...and have to be forced to buy a good quality hardboot eventually and abandon your soft boot......
