Love your show Jonathan! You and Kristina make such a great team! Your passion and sensitivity Jon are so refreshing. Saw all episodes and love each farmhouse project. Please make more shows.
Or add a gas fireplace back into the room they removed the original fireplace from after the room was reconfigured. I didn’t realize there is no downstairs bathroom. That’s so impractical! They definitely should have added one.
There is more than one bathroom. And one is located on the first floor. Clients decided they didn’t want a fireplace mid way through renovation so we gave them what they asked for. Thanks for your comment.
very fresh and charming, allmost a bit to cold, but still very pretty...I would ad a couple touches, to warm the house optically up a bit ...maybe here and there, in the niches, wallpaper or something.
The house looks beautiful. Wish he had found a way to rebuild the fireplace to keep one in the living room. Probably too expensive to do that, but always great to have a fireplace in the northeast.
why? add an island ? the kitchen functioned well before , yes ....it isn't open as most American kitchens are nowadays , but she said she wanted to keep them . I thought he would open up the wall to the sun room and make the lounge larger .
Yes this is the same Jonathan Knight from NKOTB. Jon became a real estate developer in 1994 when NKOTB originally broke up and even through NKOTB has been back since 2008 Jon still works as a real estate developer and he also has his own farm as well.
They did a great job in the restoration of the home and paying respect to the history and architecture of the home! HOWEVER The designer did NOT consider the couples design aesthetic at all! Ive only seen three episodes (that's all they have on this Channel) and each time they used that shockingly bright baby blue on the theme and the beauty coastal look doesn't play well in this houses feel or the couples taste! Keep the host, fire the designer!
Why so much green & blue in these colors? I like them, but they are used so much...The homes look INCREDIBLE, but my personal choices in colors are just different. Again, incredible work!
I haven seen you do double sinks for married people before also with Islands in the middle some contractor's do taps in the middle where water come from can you do one thanks
I think the house turned out beautiful. The only thing that concerned me is seeing this is a one bathroom house I think it needs a tub. Shower is gorgeous don’t get me wrong
The cost of this renovation is ridiculous! Especially not giving them a much needed bathroom, or even a half bath. What gets me is how Jon judged rock the block season 3. Dave and Jenny, and Egypt and Mike are the best in this business, and I've seen many mistakes in his own show. Just saying.
Hi Carmen, we live in one of the most expensive real estate markets in America. This house was gutted to the studs and completely brought up to code. They did get a first floor bathroom… a full one at that! Lots of spaces don’t make it to the show.
My aunt that lived in Cahokia Illinois now Cahokia Heights Illinois that is how dated the fire place there is has to be at least from the 1960s or 1970s the gate on the fireplace and well you cannot match the wallpaper now you can refurbish the radiators truth
@@ImNotaRussianBot True. Would just be nice not to have that extra work and instead to take beautiful care of it in the first place. But I also agree with you.
“Our house is falling down, whom should we call for help? I know-let’s call the New Kids!” I didn’t like the kitchen. They’d have been better off with new cabinets. The interior colors were also a bit too saturated, but I’d take that over the usual beige/brown/white you see on this channel.
I love Jonathan’s style ❤️ he is so good at everything he does❤️
Oh no puedo creer ver Jonathan y recordar mi adolescencia.
Jon definitely has The Right Stuff ❤❤
I'm so happy to see & hear about Jon . He's terrific & still breathtaking beauty . What a gorgeous human being ! Have always loved him ! 🥰
You can bet the neighbors are DELIGHTED!
WoW Jonathan, good job!! the kitchen is my favorite, and Jonathan, if you are reading this - i want that Doll!!
NKOTB Forever! You got great skills Jonathan 👏 What a beautiful house!
Oh my goodness, I hope my sweetheart Jonathan is back with season 2. Ive been checking the HGTV channel for the new season. Im so loving this show.
Gloss-ta? Love it! 😄 house is beautiful!
I really like John. His style, and his disposition.
*Jon
Gorgeous remodel. LOVE the new color. Opening up the entryway to the living room made such a difference. And the kitchen is stunning.
This is one of my favorite restorations on this show. I would love to have seen the other bedrooms, too.
Jonathan knight i like how you fix up your farmhouse fixer upper you make it look so nice that I wish I could live in one
Großartige Arbeit. Das Haus ist so luftig geworden, und trotzdem gemütlich mit den alten Elementen. 👍😊👍
What a beautiful job you all did I love it thank you for sharing God bless you always have a beautiful day
I think Jon knight did a great job and made great progress and did what he said he would happen for those people.
Wow!! I absolutely love the kitchen!!

The house is absolutely gorgeous how lucky you are to be able to live in your family home and have so many memories in it
Your house is fabulous! You did an excellent job! I know you will enjoy it for the rest of your lives🤗
I like how he says wall papuh
Beautiful. Love the muted colors.
We salute you Jon & I love N.K.O.T.B. love y'all guys
Amazing transformation.
Wow🥰 you are amazing you really know how to knock out the farmhouses. 🥰
Beautiful Great Job
You did such an "AMAZING" job on this home. GREAT JOB!
I just discovered this show about one month after this posted, and it's my new HGTV fave!!
Beautiful kitchen and bathroom
Could have kept the fireplace and added a bath downstairs. They increase the value of the house.
Or add a gas fireplace back into the room they removed the original fireplace from after the room was reconfigured. I didn’t realize there is no downstairs bathroom. That’s so impractical! They definitely should have added one.
I agree. House seems too big to have only one bathroom.
No.@4:10 Fireplace was in a weird spot and hogged up a bunch of unused space.
There is more than one bathroom. And one is located on the first floor. Clients decided they didn’t want a fireplace mid way through renovation so we gave them what they asked for. Thanks for your comment.
Omg!! I love the bedroom!!!
And the bathroom!!
You are "el mejor" Jonathan! Congrats from Argentina
Incredible job!
Just beautiful!
Awesome and special to see ❤️
What a cute house & even better after…
WOW, really really really nice it's like a new house
I Love your Skills My Jon

Awesome job

Great redo, but where's the fireplace?
I would listen to Jonathan read the dictionary juat so I could enjoy his Boston accent and dropping his aahh’s 💖
How much did the reno cost?
Loves it
why? add an island ? the kitchen functioned well before , yes ....it isn't open as most American kitchens are nowadays , but she said she wanted to keep them . I thought he would open up the wall to the sun room and make the lounge larger .
Because she wanted it. DOH!
Love how this guy builds benches into wall to give lots more space in the room.
WOW WOW WOW!!!!!
wow !!! Cherryl from Canada

I hate bulldozing old homes
Awesome
What did they do with the fireplace in the livingroom? This video didn't show it. Was it removed altogether?

Agreed
Indeed! They should have put another bathroom downstairs. With the cost of this renovation, it should have covered that cost.
A full bathroom was on the first floor it just wasn’t featured on the show 🤪
We gave the owners exactly what they asked for and they loved it! Thanks!!!
Why so much green & blue in these colors? I like them, but they are used so much...The homes look INCREDIBLE, but my personal choices in colors are just different. Again, incredible work!

So no fireplace?
I would love to own this house. I think in losing the fireplace, I would put a nice wood stove on the porch. The colors are beautiful.
He is very talented I’d love if he could design my house
Vintage is the rage NOW!
Taco Stacks just scrapped a set of brass fireplace doors for $100.00
Why did You paint the Wood floors.? 🙄😲😝🤦🏻♂️
I think the house turned out beautiful. The only thing that concerned me is seeing this is a one bathroom house I think it needs a tub. Shower is gorgeous don’t get me wrong
Can't believe they didn't show what they did with the fireplace
There is no way I would have removed a fireplace. 👎🏻 Someone likes blue, blue house blue kitchen, blue bathroom?
They wanted more room! And yes... They LIKE blue. STFU
Brooke passed away in February this year then Lynn two months later in April this year
😢
Condolences to their family and friends.
WHOOOOO???
@@tuc1113 The homeowners passed away?
@@angelabacker1177 read the reply from Jennifer Watts to which I replied. It states that they passed away.
@@tuc1113 But I was not familiar with their names. Such a sad ending, they were so young.
Johnathan please fix my ugly blue bathroom in South Carolina, bring nkotb with you I lost my two best friends forever, great performance on ama awards
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
They should've kept the fireplace, but otherwise very good.
Fireplace? I didn't like the kitchen. It would not have reminded me of the past and my Nana but she liked it. That's all that mattered.
"intact" is one word, not two. "In tact" is incorrect.

1 bathroom only? Wouldn’t it be able to add at least a half bath downstairs?
They only do so many rooms. There's a bathroom upstairs. They just didn't show it.
15 seconds adverts must be banned
Where is the fireplace, she wanted the firepkace?
But 👍👍👍👍
My aunt that lived in Cahokia Illinois now Cahokia Heights Illinois that is how dated the fire place there is has to be at least from the 1960s or 1970s the gate on the fireplace and well you cannot match the wallpaper now you can refurbish the radiators truth
The fireplace should have stayed.
They wanted more room. Shut up
A1
Twenty years from now they're going to be wishing they'd saved the 70's stuff.
sad but true!
My thoughts exactly, except for that carpet. 😉 First rule of wood is You Never Paint Over Wood. This was a big fail, imo.
@@audrey04021 Eh. Paint can be stripped. Would can be sanded. Styles come and go.
@@ImNotaRussianBot True. Would just be nice not to have that extra work and instead to take beautiful care of it in the first place. But I also agree with you.
Why is painting woodwork always the answer??? You ever do any work for me absolutely no wood work will be painted!

Keep the host, hire another designer...
i dont like this couple something about them rubs me the wrong way....
