Great demo. Thanks. I will be doing something similar on Aug 22 at the UK’s Grand Field Day 👍🏻

For reference, I updated the description with the parts I used.

Great KISS video. I have used Linphone but can see where dedicated handsets have an advantage. Appreciate the parts list.

Correct, a big disadvantage of using Linphone is making sure that the IP address doesn't change. In this setup, each phone has an assigned IP from the connected nodes which doesn't change.

So are you just dialing the IP? I have two extra 303 phones I was going to use as an intercom. What's the best way to set them up?

Yes it’s just dial by IP. You can setup speed dial entries on each phone to dial the other with a button on the phone.

@@MarkWarrick I want to do this very thing, how is the phone configured? When placing a call how does it route the call? There must be some settings? I'm having problems finding the on the AREDN website.

@@MichaelAF6FB If you've never setup two ip phones to talk to each other or configured them to work with a PBX, the Cisco 504G would not be a good entry-level phone for you. The easiest one I know of is the Grandstream 1625 and the AREDN forums are a treasure trove of information on configuring IP phones.
