I wasn’t able to make grey until I saw this video. Thank you, you saved my painting and grade in art class.
Hmm
These grays are very rich and full of color. Looks like colorful clays.
Excellent demo and great info. Thanks so much for this guide. Grey is an excellent color when painting whites, depending of the colors around. Wonderful instruction. Blessings and take care.
Thank you! Amazing and it worked amazingly beautiful grey. My 5yrs old daughter was amazed
50 shades of grey.
Good
All of kind shapes of gray.
Or 100 shades of gay I mean Gray
This is awesome. I'm mostly self taught with no real training and I'm fairly happy with my work. However I've been trying to mix paint for warm and cool greys with no satisfactory result. I've been mixing white, black, and a third color for the temperature change. This video was exactly what I needed. I'd have never thought to use no black at all. Thanks!
it's true that black (in larger amounts) does steal something from the colours as black absorbs all light, and therefore isn't really a colour itself, but an absence of colour
Mixing the 3 primary colors =black
Mixing orange(red+yellow)and blue= black
Mixing violet(red+blue) and yellow= black
And so on. Enjoy mixing
Which colors can give a lighter grey
This was so helpful to me thank you! I am currently painting a commission work of an Australian shepherd which has mauve grey tones as well as some warm ochre tones so this was extremely helpful!
so right it was annoying uses straight black and your way gave a different assortment of grey colours. Amazing!
Thank you, very informative and interesting.
Simply amazing thank you
Thanks for the tips! The shade I made using mostly blue, and some yellow and red, made a beautiful gray for the piece I was working on.
Same
Thank you! I need to create a gray for a cold process soap project I’m just about to start.
NEEDED THIS THANK YOU!!!
Thank you for giving idea
That was amazing. I had no idea
You helped me lot 😍
Thank you so much, I’m dying my hair for a project at school but I don’t have gray or white, so I will use Orange and Blue. Thanks again.

i am trying to make grey colour without white colour because i don't have white colour
Good job 👍
I cant hear what yellow colour you use for the third grey (hue?) . Anybody hear that?
Azo yellow.
Is thar water colors?
Thanks! I have a question! I found difficulty to make grey with blue and cadmium red..idk why mine is always greenish grey??
Add more blue
Blue and cadmium red don't make a good gray. It just makes violet mostly. Try Prussian blue and orange, they make a good cool toned gray.
Fabulous
Wish i could keep my pallet that organized.
How you make paint and different colors paint for showing me
Would this same color mixing work withwatercolor?
Yes
It would be better if you showed How to mix the different neutrals, used to make a greyscale full value painting
Owwsome love from pakistan

They don't look like Grays to me
Or u could just mics white and black😊
No! Bad idea! Do not do that, it doesn't end well.

Thankyou miss
lovelove forevers sweeties @w
Meanwhile my dumbass mixed all the colors 😗
Tysm for this vid!
You lost me at the first mention of ultramarine blue
But, why
Why, bc it’s not as clean as phthalo blue? Ultramarine blue is a staple blue, doesn’t matter what color theory you use
Two of them were blue though
WHA
👎👎👎👎👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
I hate it
Thanks
