@@TheTowBro I would be interested in pretty much anything that you might learn doing training, especially from an owners perspective. A lot of practices might get the job done, but you would only do that if you didn’t own the truck. Perhaps strapping/chaining techniques, how to not abuse the truck, truck/bed configurations to avoid when buying a new truck, things like that. Thank you sir!
@@jessetruck903 I’ll drop a chain/strap video this week!
@@TheTowBro awesome man, thank you! I’m mostly curious about how you set up a truck to handle vehicles/cargo of different lengths and sizes. Like a lowered Miata vs lifted dually, and a motorcycle or toolbox vs a shipping container, for example.
Thanks TowBro!
Any time!
Thanks very informative!
I’m glad I could help! Let me know if you want to see anything in particular
Thanks God bless
The reason we all tilt the bed first after getting the car on the bed, then start rolling it up and put it down is because of posible damage to the black top.
Thank you so much! Looking to buy a twin steer heavy tow rollback truck with a 28f bed !
Got no idea how it worked 😅
Why buy a truck with no basic understanding?
🔥🔥💯
Gonna be getting back into uploading, stay tuned!
Thank you I want learn more about operating a tow truck
What would you like to see more of?
@TheTowBro roll overs & winch outs
You have explained very nicely.
My question is which type of license we need to drive tow truck? And do we need to get classes from any institution to drive tow truck ?
Thanks
If the GVWR is under 26,001 you do not need a CDL. However some states require a chauffeur license. No particular classes are required but they do help !
Could you show us how to actually hook a truck up and pull it into there, because I got my ram 1500 towed the other day and now all the sudden it’s leaving power steering fluid out the rack and pinion and I truly think it was the tow truck driver hooking his chains up. Maybe tension on the chains tugged on my rack and pinion idk, please I need help lol
Could of been an improper hook location that allowed tension to go against the tack, look for rubbing from chains. Trucks have hook locations on the frame so you do not have to pull from other areas, sometimes these can’t be used or sometimes people don’t know or just don’t use them.
However yes I will make a video how to winch up and chain down a truck
So here's a question is there a way when using the wrench that you need to use it depending on rear wheel or front wheel drive
Put...it...in...neutral.🎉
One more question sorry when using the winds does a vehicle need to be in neutral
It doesn’t NEED to be, however to not damage the vehicle yes it should be in neutral
I wanna see how you pull out winch
Like free spool the winch out without using levers?
What do you use the battery for on the bed of the truck?
LED work/flood lights on the deck! And extra battery for other reasons if the need applies!
@@TheTowBro thanks for the reply!!
Nice tutorial. What is a reasonable price for a 20 yr old truck with 200k or so on the odometer?
To be honest mileage doesn’t matter as much as overall condition, rust, etc. I’ve put $20k into my truck over the 2 years I’ve had it. It’s the cost of business, and if still value it at about $18k. I actually have it listed for sale on marketplace at $18k
Is that a red chevy Camaro in the background
A firebird!
is roll back same as tilt tray? that’s what we call it in australia
If it’s hydraulic tilt, yes! If it’s gravity tilt we just call them gravity tilt decks
Yes mate. Thats a tilt tray
