I'd love to take my wife to see this. I've been to Airventure three times. It's always a blast. The last time was when REO Speedwagon played live at night. What a great time. As always, thanks for the great content.

I would love to go to OSH again this year. Couldn’t fly up last year and was kinda bummed as it was an anniversary year of the Thorp. Plane is ready this year but haven’t bought my tickets just yet, had to buy an P-mag last month 😬.

My best friend and I are both in situations that would not allow us to go. He has not missed for 26 years and I’m finally just getting able to get to go ad we have moved closer. My daughter is having surgery this coming up week and OSH finds have been spent on her( a choice I would make every time) and my best friend has had some large car repair bills. Id love to take my 12 year old son and also help my best friend keep his streak alive.

This is my first time going to Oshkosh. I think about fly every day since my first ride in a plane in the summer of 2008. Got my ppl in 2010 then took a 8 yr break when I got married in 2014. Just started flying again two yrs ago

Hay Dan and Christy me and my son are coming to OSH this year for the week I am a pilot but my son is getting his now with goals of becoming a airline pilot and love the content on Christy’s path she took to get where she is now. Hey Dan and Christy, I am hoping there is a worthier candidate you can send the pass to, but I am fortunate enough to live less than an hour away from Oshkosh, and I just passed my PPL checkride on 7/3. Guess where? Yup, at KOSH! Nothing like landing on the blue dot to celebrate successfully becoming a pilot. I haven’t been to Airventure since I was a small child and saw the Harrier take off, a moment I will never forget. Currently can only swing a single day ticket as I need to let the wallet refill from the PPL lessons, but would love to and am able to go the whole week!

I love what you all do, I watch your channel everyday, I know I can’t afford to go, but at least I’ll get to see the videos you all post, that is all I want. I used to be a commercial aviator, CFI, but lost my medical certificate due to a bad accident, so I can’t fly anymore legally, and I suffer from severe depression, on top of some medical issues I have going on in my life at the moment, my dreams are to be able to get my medical struggles behind me, learn to walk again after my hip replacement surgery in September, and perhaps even get off disability and back into the cockpit where I belong by this time next year. I would love to take my mother to EAA air venture one day, but I’m not asking you to pick me, because I know for a fact that there are far more deserving people out there then myself. Just make some good videos with awesome people, and I’ll be happy when that content comes out. 😊
If my surgery goes south in September, I may lose my life, or at least I may never fly again at worst, but at best I’ll make a full recovery and get my class one medical certificate back, and I’ll fly again. But if I don’t make it, my spirit will fly forever! So pick someone who was like me back in 2005, when all I could think about was flying, pick someone who has it in their soul, because getting to do things like this they’ll be able to find the people who will give them the opportunity to make their dreams come true.

I’ve been a subscriber for a while now and the only thing I’m missing is that I didn’t have the merit to be 1 of the first 1000 subscribers as I was probably of the first 20-30k subscribers and I was kinda shocked that it took 2 year for 100k subscribers and of course it was awesome to see Christy breaking through her fear of jumping with a parachute although I expected to be way quicker

You guys are already doing so much with all the content including but not limited to, incident analysis, historic aviation events, podcast, and pilot stories. All these things are already way more then we deserve however since AOPA has officially stopped their weekly UA-cam videos and not just their AOPA Live series that they stopped a while ago when he retired, with that said I wish you can squeeze in a steady weekly 10-20 minutes show to cover all the major aviation events of the week, it will help us your sworn fans to catch up, and with your god given teaching talent (based on the way how both of you usually explain it everything so well) we can really understand what’s going on
Sincerely a long time fan of this channel that’s located in NY and can’t wait to be a pilot 1 day as well

Hi Dan and Christy, I might be deserving of a ticket as I am a little down on my luck lately. I have been out of work since December, but I am not letting that slow me down and I am using my time as constructively as possible by getting ready for my Instrument rating by prepping for the written and trying to get flight time with a CFI in preparation for the checkride. I am flying up in 44T and camping under the wing in VAC. I look forward to the meet n' greet Monday!

I probably don't deserve to get tickets, but I'm a 53 yo single dad who has put his life on hold to chase the "career 2.0" as a pilot. I've been flying on and off since the early 90's, but I'm currently working on my commercial. I put my career on hold, and I'm funding all of this from a home equity line so i could study and fly, more or less, full time. I also have a Sonex about 90% done. I would love to bring my teen daughter to visit Sonex, and finally see the show in person. Since I'm a commercial student, I would probably fly, and camp with a school plane. (It would be a good time builder) Thank you for the consideration.
Hello Dan. I am not sure if you will read this but it has nothing to do with Oshkosh. I received an email from AOPA and they are looking for a volunteer for the Airport Support Network at Hicks (T67). I think you are based there. Maybe you might like to volunteer through AOPA or may know someone that would like to volunteer to help protect Hicks Airfield. Take care. And of course, if you already are aware of this, I apologize for taking your time.
No worries! I actually sublease my spot for Lola at Hicks and it's a very long drive for me. I only go out there when it's time to fly. There's a lot of people who live there who'd be much better suited for volunteering. Because I'm hardly there-- Im not plugged in very well, really dont know people out there.
I don’t really deserve to win free tickets probably should go to somebody else, but I would like to say the information here is very valuable for traveling into Oshkosh as last year was my first time going ever and actually flew in and did meet and talk to Christy and told her that Her information along with the other UA-camrs is extremely valuable to those that go to Oshkosh especially the ones that fly in.
