I just finished watching the drama for the 3rd time..one of the best..Won said that he loves San more than himself but Rin love Won more than himself too,for him to sacrifice his own life,become a traitor and ousted from his family and roots,he lives as if he doesn't exist anymore because he is now dead.. Rin really deserve to be with San more than the king because in the first place it's Rin that she fell in love.
Finally found kdrama that has a beautiful reasonable breaktrough ending. The screenwriter took its own high risk since it was such a myth to have second lead has a happy ending with co-main lead, so that’s why there are audiences may feel disappointed. Both Won and Rin are have a good character. But Rin’s character is at another level beyond beautiful, his heart is pure selfless and full of sacrifice. He thinks he was the one who has one-sides love and doesn’t deserve San’s love because of his criminal brother and his bestie Won, while San’s feeling by the time was actually strongly attached to Rin because of Rin always there for her yet unspeakable because of she was scared it would affects Won and Rin friendship. At the end Rin doesn’t expect San to reciprocate his confession of love and let his departure alone instead of stay with Won, yet it was unexpectedly for San decided to landed her heart to Rin and stay with him finally. Love it so much though unsatisfied because of we need RinSan more at least on another epilogue season.😭❤️❤️❤️

I was Team Rin from the start but also suffered from second lead syndrome because promotions kept indicating WonSan as endgame but I was pleasantly surprised that RinSan ended up together because of I thought Rin or San was gonna die
Im also happy for the two of them although its not realy clear in the ending if they end up together.. Baker king also the female lead and 2nd male lead end up together although she didnt love him at first..
one of my favorite sweet dramas. I love the story, the plot, the characters and the actors. The story when not all male lead character automatically gets the female lead just because he is the richest and the most powerful. Sometimes the unobstrusive and loyal friend deserves his own spotlight and the ultimate prize. Love it and watched it over and over

I loved them all and I was torn because she loved them both in different ways. The drama had me crying so much at the end couple of episodes. I felt that the end shouldn't be the end they had each other Rin and San, but the Won lost his best friends forever! I love these kdrama's so much, but they always make me cry! ❤
I thought of the reason why some people hated Won, but it is not right to hate him. I understand both sides of Won and Rin. I also liked Rin at the beginning because there is no reason to not like him. However, I realized that Won really liked San and Rin. He did everything for the both of them. Some people, hate Won because of how he loves. But come to think of it, he is just expressive in his love and he trusts so much. He expresses his love for San so much and he trusts Rin so much that he(Won) always deny to himself that Rin liked the girl Rin knows that he(Won) liked. He is not selfish, he just trust so much. He is not desperate, he is just expressive. He is willing to do and sacrifice everything for the people that he likes and is important to him. That is how he loved. He loved more than himself. She decided not to choose between them because she knows that it may results a not so good break up of the two men. RIN, sacrificed his own life, his own family, his honor and he even let go of San, just to save the prince and the king (in the finale/ its about the golden seal)... And WON, did a good decision to let her free. Everyone knows the feelings between Rin and San (and tried to hide it to their own selves) he decided to ignored it but he was aware...... His trust to Rin wouldn't be wasted, because he tried to leave. Rin loves her first, but he decided to kept it because his friend like the girl he love...
All l wanted was Won end up with San because I loved him so much really it's killed me see her with Rin and leave him behind l cried so much and forgot that this was movie not reality 😭😭
I love that they were together but I feel there was something missing, like they needed more time together. I think we all had the idea that San loved Rin but it was never really clear and I think it was only confirmed for me after episode 18 which is kind of a waste. This song reaches out to me in a way that I can only describe like all the pain of goblin condensed into one song.

Also I’ve always thought it would be nicer if the lead couple didn’t say an “I love you” or “I like you” but I think I got confused since rin worded it weirdly and San never really said it. As much as I wasn’t liking Won in the ending it broke my heart that he could never learn to love dan or get another friend, and Jin Gwan didn’t get to be closer to dan, and let’s not forget MOO SEOK HAD TO DIE AND NEVER GOT TO BE WITH BI YEON

@@ebruphiyor9477 mooseok and biyeon is THE couple that i need to happen. there are a lot of others but this one really hurts. we see that they could've had something amazing, they both obviously cared about each other, but we don't know if he got a proper burial, if she even knew he died, and how she continued life without him...or what it would be like if they could've been together. ahhh it's so upsetting, rinsan is one of my favorite kdrama couples of all time but mooseok and biyeon :') they really deserve each other

@@megan-wl1ym yeah it's in Korean so I myself haven't read it of course hehe but I know quite a lot from reading countless comments on this story. The novel focusses on San and Rin's love story where as the drama makes us guess the entire way
