I'm a little surprised how few people make the connection between the rock collection and Caine killing Abel with a rock. Biblically, the rock was the first murder weapon. The modern day equivalent would be a wall of guns or knives. It's just another reminder that Caine can't let go of what he did.
the fact that Pat clearly is right yet he's like "that doesn't make sense" you realize chole is the focal point she makes them vulnerable and Dan was home cause he figured that's where Maze was.
Lucifer pushes Chloe away from him ever since s2, when he found out Chloe was put in his path. He believes she has no choice but to fall for him because of his father. But when he sees that she is slowly giving up on him, he realizes something but does nothing about it. You guys are right he was trying to have it both ways - pushing her away, but also doesn't want her to be with anyone else. And still no one could find an explanation about why Chloe makes him vulnerable. In the previous episode, Amenadiel talks about even Lucifer can have 'these' things, while Pierce looks directly to her and says ''maybe I can have it too'' he assumes Chloe's love makes Lucifer vulnerable. So he's trying to get Chloe's attention, which was not so hard, although Chloe always kept her hopes about Lucifer even in this episode but since he doesn't take a hint she gave Pierce a chance at the end.
Funny enough, the author that invented the DC version of Lucifer used on the show has also written several immortals that don't have much wealth. They either squander it or simply have a run of bad luck and have to rebuild their fortunes from scratch often enough to balance out
@@JBWinter The 1% and the 1% of the 1% are wealthy, but they are not always the same. Not even during their own life. The point of wealth is you need you maintain it; you don't get wealthy and stay wealthy without work.
At the end of the previous episode, Pierce realized that Chloe has feelings for Lucifer, and Pierce assumes that it is Chloe's love that makes Lucifer vulnerable. Therefore Pierce wants Chloe to love him to be vulnerable and finally be able to die. guys, Lucifer keeps chloe at arm's length from S2, when he found out that chloe was a miracle sent by God. This does not mean that Lucifer does not love Chloe, in fact he is suffering because Lucifer really loves her. I love that showrunners always bring actors from the show "BONES", they are fans of that show. The murderer of this episode had a main character in that show, he played a computer hacker named Pelant
I mostly remember Andrew Leeds (the killer in this ep.) as Christoper Pelant in Bones. Also, the tour guide is played by Joshua Gomez who is probably best known as Morgan in Chuck.
Pat must feel so validated watching this episode.😂 Good for you man Your theorys made much more sense than Rana's "Cain taking Chloe as hostage to blackmail God"
That Pierce has a rock collection cracked me up, because in the Bible apparently Cain killed Abel with a rock. Clever, writers and set decorators, very clever. ;)
I think because Maze has only recently developed emotions, she doesn't yet really know how to deal with them. Hence, she acts like a teenager going through puberty. Intense emotions and no idea how to handle them so she acts out. Because torture and fighting are two things that have always been a part of her life, she resorts to violence to deal with her emotions, because that is wat she knows. I feel bad for her, she's just out of control, I hope she can clear her mind and learn better ways to cope with emotions. On the other hand I thought it was kinda funny in a way to see the scenes between Dan and Maze. It's like a dad talking to his teenage daughter :p
rana is literally the first person i've EVER heard who wanted chloe & marcus together, to this day i'm convinced that s--t show of a convoluted 'relationship' between the two of them was the reason the ratings dropped so hard that fox cancelled the series (though luckily the season 3 finale was still good enough that the fans got netflix to save the show)
It is evil of Pierce, though... because he's planning to manipulate Chloe and doesn't care about her feelings and what it would do to her if he dies. All he wants is what he wants.
By this point, it was just a speculation. No one knows what makes Lucifer vulnerable when Chloe is near and if being loved by her can make it happen. Enjoy the last episodes of season 3 because the next 3 episodes will be much better, specially season 5.
Mickey, have you seen the film L.A. Confidential? Total period piece, and really really good. I think it's a gorgeous film and everything works so well together (set design, costumes, the music, the twists of the story, all of it). If you haven't seen it, you should check it out. And react to it! I would totally love to hear what you think. It's with Russell Crowe, Guy Pearce, James Cromwell, Kevin Spacey, Danny Davito, and Kim Basinger.
Pierce and Chloe was really good together. You not liking them together is a different thing. It doesn't change the fact that they probably had the most normal relationship of all the relationships in the show, until their breakup. And they were cute AF together

Not only.
The rocks are the only things that don't change; everything else don't last ten thousands of years,
I'm surprised pat wasn't happier for longer. He's right so very rarely I thought he'd savor it more when he is.
Yeah
the fact that Pat clearly is right yet he's like "that doesn't make sense" you realize chole is the focal point she makes them vulnerable and Dan was home cause he figured that's where Maze was.
Love makes everyone vulnerable.
Amenediel, Cain, Lucifer, Maze, etc.

So somehow Pat dosen't understand how being alive since basically the beginning of the world could end up with somone having a lot of money.
Yeah, it's not like antiques have any value or investing into something early.
If Pat was alive from the beginning of the world he would probably just be super confused by everything now and poor.

I mostly remember Andrew Leeds (the killer in this ep.) as Christoper Pelant in Bones.

The actor playing the killer in this episode was recently on Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist, playing Zoey’s brother.
TBH I found his rock collection hysterical, considering that he killed his brother with a rock.
5:33 omg same Rana that's what I think too loool
Guys, your wish will come true for old time set of Lucifer 😁😁
16:38 Is that Moose from the Step Up franchise?!
In LA it’s called Ryan’s Roses and I listen to it all the time!
If you guys watched Bones, you should've known who the killer was.
in the LAPD The base salary for Police Lieutenant ranges from $94,782 to $115,259 with the average base salary of $110,081.
Nobody here has seen Chuck.. damn
It is sooo more interesting from season 4!
Agreed netflix let them kick it up a notch

The rock collection is a reference to Cain killing Able because he killed him with a rock.
It makes zero sense, because it was never about Chloe's love for Lucifer, but rather his feelings for *her* that make him vulnurable.
That's hasn't been figured out in the show yet.
Yeah But Cain doesn't known that. We're figuring it out as he does
You all are hitting on things that come in to play later in the series but I don't want to say because Spoilers.
