How do you feel about Covered call ETFs? I don't have the experience to sell CCs myself. But I hope the ETF management does. I just really want to know more about these things before investing, only if someone can put me through.
I wish I could have retired in my 50's. I'm 65 now, I started investing late . After some research, I found a strategy that helped. I'm pleased to say I'm retiring with at least $2 million.

Tech might be expensive but so were houses on the coast in California. I'd much rather have bought one of those 10 years ago, then a house in Joplin, Missouri 10 years ago.
I'm a SCHD fan. It wouldnt be the first etf I'd recommend to someone just starting out but once your portfolio is large enough I think its a good diversifier. I use SCHD and DGRO as my value diversifiers...dividend growth being towards the top screening factor in that selection. It held up pretty well during the 2022 downturn. Thanks for the video Chris!
Chris..perhaps mention to viewers about qualified dividends ETFs vs ordinary dividend stocks…tax implications…can Korean citizens buy stocks in the us exchanges?
SCHD was my dividend play because of their low Expense ratio. Got it last year for $67. Sold all now and got on Ford when they crashed it below 10 bucks. Ford is cheap and good dividend play for my retirement portfolio. If the recession hits next year, I'm getting more Ford and AT&T at better prices. I got AT&T below 15 bucks. Even with the stock split, I won't buy SCHD now until the recession. Recession is a blessing in disguise, just stay cash ready because it won't last.
That is incorrect. They are qualified dividends so they are taxed more favorably. SCHD dividends are only tax free if you’re under a certain income threshold or if you hold SCHD in a Roth and withdraw after 59 & 1/2
I prefer qqq and spy over schd. I have bought many dividend stocks and etfs but schd is one of those I avoid because so many people make videos about it. I can be wrong but i feel when so many people are making videos about it I automatically think that at least a few of them are try to pump up the stock therefore causing artificial growth. Also I like high yeild monthly or weekly paying dividend stocks so i guess SCHD does not fit my criteria.
Not only does everyone make videos about it, people often ask me to make videos about it, and hence the cycle continues, haha. However, I tried to do a different version of said video, by offering a couple alternatives :)
@@realchris my comment was in no way in criticizing you or the topic. I was just expressing an opinion. I enjoy most of your videos and you make a lot sense. Keep up the good work. Awesome video of Tesla robotaxi day in august. Congratulations on reuniting with your mother.

I've recently put some money in JEPQ and JEPI. Let's see how it goes. I'm buying $2/day of each
Thanks, finally some investment recommendation and not only Musk/Tesla bashing 😜
This week is a huge week to cover Musk and Tesla, so stay tuned :)
NOTE: It is only bashing when it's not true.
I appreciate knowing what billionaires are trying to get away with. Please keep exposing them!

Really excited to get your input on good equities! I have SCHD but it's good to hear I made a good choice.

Great info! Love to hear your perspectives.

Thanks for the video Chris!
Sleeping well at night is always good :)
Definitely DIVO should be on your list.
SCHD can be a relatively safe investment for long term investors. Those looking for a rocketship need not apply.
You are two years behind…..

Chris, can I get your opinion on SPYD?0.06% expense ratio
You can look at it in comparison to the ones in this video :) But good thing is expense ratio is low.
Hey Chris, sold my Tesla stock bought SCHD, SCHD !
And SCHG !
Good job!🎉
Oh good another SCHD video
People keep requesting it :)
Would rather invest in an s&p 500 etf such as splg
I’m enjoying FDVV but I do like SCHD tho. FDVV does sector rotation I believe.
Looks fairly comparable to the others :) Since you've had it, do they seem to rotate often?
Great video. What site did you use to compare the different funds?
You can see here www.chrisnorlund.com/data hope it helps :)
Hi Chris, i want to buy a lot of SCHG soon. What do you think about SCHG?
Thanks Chris. Could you cover the yieldmax etfs?
I have my money with ubs and they charge 1.4 percent. Do you think I would be better off buying etf’s and should I buy several etf’s
Thanks, for nothing

Buy low sell high :)
ARK is the devil! Ask me how I know. Woods tells a great story, but the reality doesn't live up to the hype.
Agreed 👍
She’s awful
Is it true all dividends earned from schd- are tax free ???
That is incorrect. They are qualified dividends so they are taxed more favorably. SCHD dividends are only tax free if you’re under a certain income threshold or if you hold SCHD in a Roth and withdraw after 59 & 1/2
