Don't forget Gaunt's ghosts destroyed a Men of iron producing stc :3
JRR TOLKIEN is significantly better writer and story mythology of Arada is actually better than any story including WH40K. Will it doesn't have the same quantity but it has decent of it (considering it has only one writer) and much more quality and no bs writing. It is perfection.
As a fan of both.
Not so sure if 40k is deep and rich lore when it's really schizophrenic in the depictions of everything. "Everything is imperial propaganda" Might as well just say the Emperor is replaced by a Chaos demon and that's as accurate as the lore will be.
I hate to say it Majorkill but I have been reading this lore for 32 years and yes I did know all of that.... so do you spit or swallow
Non chaos aligned warp entities and magic would be a cool video.

No it was because of those feelings that Horus fell. The chaos gods played off those emotions, basically pointing out that all the violence and war he despised was caused by the Emperor, all for a plan that he would not give his sons the full details on. Horus thought he was freeing humanity, we always thought his quote was just “Let the galaxy burn” but in reality it was “I will see the galaxy freed once more, and if I cannot save it from your failure father, then let the galaxy burn.”
Sounds like BS heresy to me.
And such a well delivered line it was. Horus Heresy trailer still gives me chills even after the n-th re-watch.

My head cannon for AI in 40k is that instead of all AI being gone they've just fucked off to obscure places, perhaps hiding where they are least expected. The Mechanicus would never expect the toaster they've been banging to be a man of iron in hiding.

At this point you might just want to start considering retirement.
That Genestealer infected astartes chapter mentioned. I think that might be the Emperor's Scythes. They have a pretty awesome short story about them called "Blood of Slotha." WyvernAudio did a great narration on it on his channel.

Darth Vader and his Stormtroopers with Space Marine Power Armor makes them look pure unadulterated badass and terrifying to the Rebels.
Star Wars would have gone quite differently
Eisenhorn has a light saber, he wields the warp. Yep he’s a jedi.
Man, if Eisenhorn was in Star Wars, seeing the Jedi Counsil trying to tell him what to do would be comical! 🤣 Now, I'm imagining if Eiesnhorn trained Anakin Skywalker! Like, this is how I think it might go:' Okay, I'm taking this kid, before you IDIOTS f%#@ him up worse!' 'Any objections?' Mace Windu and Yoda "try", Eisenhorn shuts them both down with just a gesture! "I thought so!' Alright Anakin, we'll have FUN together!' 'Oh! One last thing, your "trusted" Senator Palpatine, is a MAJOR problem! Since YOU guys are too inept and short-sighted to do anything, I'll deal with him myself, and save the galaxy!' Senator Palpatine, sensing Eisenhorn anywhere near him:' Oh, S%#@!'
@@marystone860 I don’t know, there is a good reason sci fi verses scale poorly to one another. Simple fact is any resident of the 40k galaxy would consider a trip anywhere else a vacation. “generation tech” did a series on it culminating with a nerd compilation to decide who was the most hardcore. Trek, Halo, star craft, 40k, starwars, and others went head to head. Well I wont spoil the video but they make an objective case for their conclusions.
I wasn’t expecting to see a Vader dreadnought but I’m into it.
I knew all of those except the Genestealer loving Eldari. You even forgot another one: there is a living "man of stone", disguised as a weapon operator on the Grand Cruiser "Retribution".
He's actually a cybernetic implant, or so the Adeptus mechanics that implanted it on a deeply wounded space navy sailor thought. The implant took over the personality of the sailor, which briefly surfaced when it was struck by a powerful electric charge, forcing the implant to reboot, only to get back under compete control by the implant.
Having a meeting between him and UI-025 would be interesting, to say the least!
[Source: Ancient History" by Andy Chambers - Dark Imperium]
That Darth Vader Dreadnought in the thumbnail just made my day.
A men of iron army for tabletop would be pretty awesome tbh
Dune, Star Trek and Star Wars. That gave us all the cool scifi references.
The last part is not true, the warlord that the grey knights found was kinda a man of iron, it was actually a titan in a class beyond emporer titan, the last of his kind as known today, it was currupted by chaos and made and army of warlord titans to tribute
Castigor class titan.
What's the title of the story here?
I don't remember the book name off the top of my head but it's a grey knight novel
So I knew 9 out of 10. The one about the monkey was new to me.
I think that means your atleast entitled to a hand job.
4:09 reminds me of a book called All yesterdays. Where some future alien paleontologist speculate monkey’s were vicious predators capable of spewing venom from their canines!
Ive heard speculation that humans are slowly becoming venomous.our mouths are full of nasty Bacteria and our salivary glands already produce enzymes that help break down food.its not a big stretch.
The Tau are the best chance for unintentionally releasing a dangerous AI, since they are the youngest civilization still experiencing their technology bloom, yes?
The great thing about the old contradictory lore is that in the 40k universe (or more accurately multiverse) has so much unintention temporal and dimensional shifting in it there are doubtless individuals around who are from the original time stream who get really confused when people ask them who Malice is or mention how the Emperor apparently hasn't spoken for millenia when he was pretty lucid with Inquisitor Draco.
Can you cover what would happen if all of Trazyn collection would've escaped?
Two things in his collection are Fulgrim and Massive shard of the Deceiver so not very good things
a viedeo about demon rape form corvus and the reaction and thoughts from other people or his well victims would be nice, since we all know lorgar is playing hide and seek with corvus for a couple of millenia
Fun fact: the land raider is actually called like that bc arkan land discorverd the stc
Edit: damn why yall mad if you alr know it just move on i thought it was funny bc the assumption is that its called that bc it raids land

Wait...a Tau killing two chaos marines in melee!?
To be fair, it's not just a Tau, it's a Tau in a battlesuit
@@fadelsukoco3092 And they're from Farsight Enclaves, taught by Commander Farsight himself
Basically: It's true that there is a direct WH40K equivalent of lightsabers in the Sollex-Aegis energy blades. However, the latter are far more primitive than those seen in Star Wars. They usually require external energy packs (akin to SW protosabers), run out of energy fast, are obnoxiously loud and fairly unreliable in the same way other plasma weapons are.
It's more or less the difference between a neolithic stone axe and a 14th century horseman's steel battleaxe - they may look similar and both do the same thing, but one is _a lot_ better than the other.
I find this kinda fascinating since - as always - the Mechanicum doesn't fully understand the technology (which was derived from an STC fragment, IIRC), meaning humans in the Dark Age of Technology may have been walking around with _legit_ lightsabers.
Not to mention that the sollex-aegis is actually a plasma blade
Also on 6319 , Horus tried deploicy another time after his favorite son(at the time) was murdered. Search when Horus killed the emporer. Torragdon's favorite story to tell to piss off loken
40k scholarship points right here.
Feels good to know all these things.
The new squats use plasma weapons which are essentially lightsabers
Majorkill could be the host of an actual 40k talk show! Bravo great job Majorkill!
As a major Star Wars fan just getting into the warhammer universe this was awesome to see I loved watching the Vader vs Astartes video too
theory: the false emperor from the second terra is the figure who kept appearing to that one group of chaos knights who's name i can't spell and because they had seen this false emperor they though the imperium unworthy
I never get enough of your vids MajorKill. Keep it up. Each one is a banger to watch when your bored.
Hearing you explain Star Wars lore is the most surreal thing I've heard today
I feel like the false emperor may have been a trick by the chaos gods to sort of prime Horus and the Luna Wolves to betray the emperor. That, or someone who ran from the nascent imperium and decided to copy cat.
I've always considered the T'au fusion blades to be more akin to really OP bigass blowtorches rather than lightsabers but close enough.
I dunno if its just me but it feels like Majorkill's been pumping out more content recently. Either way I really appreciate it and enjoy it you bastard.
Can we get a video on the Assault of the Tempest Galleries?
I listen to your videos all day while I work. I've actually seen every one at this point and It helps the day pass quicker
Fun fact, in star wars the ancient Jedi and Sith wielded incredibly powerful force imbued swords before the proto-saber, and then light saber became a thing. To make one took weeks of ritual, and they could channel force attacks (and draw upon the force themselves) in ways that lightsabers simple cannot. Drawback of course though are that most are far to big to ever conceal like a lightsaber and are more cumbersome to wear, not to mention draw against enemies with superhuman speed. Every so often a relic one pops up in the lore, and I think an ancient sith Warlord who uses one even got brought back to life in one of the books.
There was another other reason Jedi and Sith switch first to proto Sabers and then first the Sith to Lightsabers. In the lore the regularly got stuck mid fight in the narrow corridors of spaceships of the reply old times when they were pretty small, not as big as the ships of more modern eras
7:00, wait, he said “welcome back my children”. We never see those primarcs get killed. So there may be a separate set of primarcs just waiting on unknown planets to be discovered.
Majorkill your should legit do a collab with Amber King, saw that you have made a few appearances with baldemort so you should definitely do the same with amber King
The fact you talked about at 10:20 was the last question in your lore battle with Weshammer
The cool thing about the other Terra (6319) was that the beginning of Horus Rising, the first Horus Heresy book starts there, when i read it i was confused as fuck, because it was my first warhammer book and i thouth i somehow got the last book instead of the first one.
That was the point... Still waiting for the second time Loken sees Horus kill an Emperor.
Can you still do a video about things that need to happen in future 40k stories like ghazgskull finishing his calling, the lion returning, the return of the rundung (yeah I butchered the spelling)
I always wondered what the other races in 40k thought of the emperor and the primarchs...
I thought about it because (i think it was) in "Dark Imperium" one of the Eldar met Girlymann and was disgusted by a comment that Eldrad Ulthran made that the primarchs were in some aspects superior to the eldar
still salty and in denial that they created slaanesh
I mean… in what capacity is an individual eldar greater than a primarch other than being a psyker? No eldar psyker(at least in the current settin) can match the raw power Magnus has, and no eldar warrior(other than maybe a phoenix lord) is gonna have much of a chance against a primarch to begin with
I swear we’re superior to the bioengineered demigod even though we’re shorter, weaker, lighter and less inteligent than him I swear
On one hand, I'm super grateful that the thumbnail was the first thing discussed in the video, but the critical part of me wants to say that its best to put that at the end of the video so you can make sure everyone who clicked because of the thumbnail stays to the end haha. Not that it matters to me because I'm a simple man. I see Majorkill. I watch.
While I didn't know all of these, I will probably need to use a lawnmower to trim my neck beard considering I knew more than half of them...
Emperor: Death is waiting on the hill
Ferrum Fullgar Brigade: No surrender shoot to kill!
If I remember Correctly in 40k epic the Orks had a rule that countered the Nids "Jones is acting strangely" rule that symbolised them killing infected orks I think it was called "Orks not named Jones"
I knew most if not all of these, but awesome the way you put it together.
Also, the Votann actively have with them men-of-iron with which they work hand in steel hand. It is even likely that the Votann are the original men of stone, who created the men of iron, so yes an Ai rebellion like that is still possible
Isn’t it speculated that Cawl found the DAoT ship and won some sort of contest against it since something similar is mentioned in Avenging Son?
The fact that i knew all of them except the Cyber-Altered Task units (“CATs”) is suprising.

iirc, the genestealer cult that took over a marine chapter did so through infecting the world where the chapter recruited its initiates, resulting in the cult gradually taking over the Chapter (both marines and chapter serfs) from within.
I think the second Terra may be a Star Trek reference. In The Original Series there is an episode where the crew of the Enterprise come upon a world identical to Earth in every way except it's still recovering from WW3.

I love some of the old white dwarf stories, the aeon or apex twins i can't remember this is a solid 15 years ago, 2 alpha class psykers who were on a black ship, they go into the ship to find it just cored, everyone is dead and the two girls are missing, psykers so powerful they could do anything. Many of the random stories you've spoke of i DID have some ideas, and honestly a few i had none and i've read thousands of damned books... So please moar! Oh i am also sinister handed :P Oh the damned blackstone fortress and the potential iron man on it!! omfg those are the stories i live for, just no idea their battle bot is an insane piece of history, or the ancient Arco-Flagellant who was insanely OP and i could blather forever...
