I daydream of saving Thorin, Fili, and Kili (and bringing them to a mountain somewhere to keep them from interfering with the story), then Haldir and Maedhros. Then saving Ecthelion of the Fountain and Boromir if they wished, but keeping Boromir away from the story. I love Arda.

I gotta admit, I was surprised at Thranduil not getting to be a "hero" (he's gotta be strong and he's gotta be fast and he's gotta be fresh from the fight) is pretty much exactly what he's like in the movies, but, Oh, well, that was a pretty funny idea making him the guymother. Also LOVED the inclusion of all the heroic Hobbits. They all to often aren't included in the hero catagory, but IMHO were the REAL heros of LOTR
