I was thinking about this! Well, more so for just a k.i.s.s simple dump pouch. To prevent travel I anchor down the back via a carabiner on the rear of my H-harness.
That would be the heaviest purse on earth. the "Grunt" in the name refers to the sound you would make every time you pick it up. Looks awesome and I like the different configurations you can have.
Robert "Grunt Gear" has great stuff and is an awesome shooter and instructor. I have a messenger bag and several holsters, belts and mag holders from him and sell his gear as a firearm instructor and gun salesman at Big Al's Gun and Pawn in south Florida. All his stuff is high end and made by one man. Mark
Looks like a real good bag to take your mags prepared for the range. However for a "tough" situation id rather have a vest or chest rig prepared for that.
Imagine there is a Lucid HD7 review coming soon, I ran one on my BCM, dropped one.dropped it more, lol, never had any trouble with it. Of course I love my Aimpoint's, but hard to beat a $180 HD7!
I noticed you were unsure of your mag changes with making sure the bolt was in battery. Have you looked at the PDQ by Teal Blue Bravo LLC? It's A LOT quicker than standard manual of arms operation.
5:45 It'd be nice if those sleeves could be converted into a over-the-belt mag carrier, all they'd need is at least four lockable belt loops and an adjustable buckle. Simple upgrade.
Great product Sootch, but I rather use the 8 in line mag pouch from TUFF products, with these bag u r adding more lougage to carry , with the TUFF mag pouch it's already mounted on ur molle vest. & also has a removable cover w/ Velcro.
Awesome bag. I need two. I just checked the web site and they have discontinued selling this bag until they can get the lag time to be quicker for delivery. I'll wait. ha ha
Great video. Don,….Yup, I'll definitely agree with you, Robert that runs US grunt gear or I guess is it the US grunt gear makes some absolutely excellent quality toughest on the market equipment!!!….Only problem is he so popular. He's backed up, sometimes three months, but it's well worth the wait
At $200 less than the entry level EOTechs and Aimpoints, I'm wondering if its tough enough to serve as an optic on my primary defensive carbine. $200 is a lot, and would mean I can get a pair of backup irons, or add more ergonomic furniture, etc. Eagerly awaiting the review!
We just recently had gotten my ex a Bushnell MP red dot sight, which is the ACOG-style tube sight. It's built like a tank, and I like the style, but the T-dot reticle is kind of trash.
Looks nice, but he needs to add padding to the carry handles, and get rid of the sewn-in mag holders on the accessory pouch, and use a loop field there instead, like he's using on the inner pouch. This way the end user can choose where to mount US Grunt Gear accessory pouches. The bottom of both pockets needs to be padded also. 7/10
Would be awkward to run with / move in a fight, as opposed to a chest rig. Still could be useful, but hard to imagine something with the weight of 10+ loaded mags all on one side of you. Good for civilian uses, but i think being able to move in a fight is important.
They need to ban those high capacity Mag Bags because they increase the rate of fire for mass shooters. Sandy Hook and Aurora could have been prevented if High Capacity Mag Bags were restricted or banned.
The website actually calls it a - AR/Pistol 10/6 Mag Purse Bag - I guess PURSE isn't tactical-sounding enough for sootchie =) and it is discreet....until you whip that EBR out!! =)
This is one sweet mag bag!
Nobody makes a man purse look as good as Sootch does!! Rock it Don!!
I got my bag. Took almost four months to get it...Backordered big time....Fantastic bag..!!!!
2 of those bags would be great for defending a position from the roof plus plate carrier mags and a 20 inch barrel dmr and nice optic
The sound of that recoil is epic Sootch! Absolutely awesome!
That bag looks awesome. Much better than the plastic grocery bag I have for my CETME.
I was thinking about this!

I like the patch!

Sootch = best gun channel
One sweet bag!
That certainly looks like a handy bag. I'll have to check them out.
Looks like a real good bag to take your mags prepared for the range. However for a "tough" situation id rather have a vest or chest rig prepared for that.
I love your bloopers.

One heck of a discreet funny pack
I noticed you were unsure of your mag changes with making sure the bolt was in battery. Have you looked at the PDQ by Teal Blue Bravo LLC? It's A LOT quicker than standard manual of arms operation.
That's actually a pretty bad ass bag
Best "Murse" ever!

I'll wait. ha ha
This type of bag seems like a good idea, right up until you try to run with the shoulder bag loaded with 10 pounds of mags and ammo.
Thats a real nice grab and go Bag I will check out there web page, Thanks

Very nice.
Nice mag bag
wow cute purse!
Nice bag
Thanks for the video.
I think we need a review of that LUCID HD7 in the background of the opening shot.
The HD7 review is coming soon. So far, I really like this sight.

Is it still wearable / easily portable with a full load out? How does it compare to maxpedition a.s.b.?

Tactical Taylor has something similar, though this looks better.
Awww darn! I'm in CA... I want to be able to simply press the mag release button on my AR15! Damn CA "bullet button"! Nice mag bag!
Really like and support the videos you do. Could you at some point and time do a review on the us grunt gear go zipper gun bag?
Like always great review. Thank you, Mr. Always Right
Would be awkward to run with / move in a fight, as opposed to a chest rig. Still could be useful, but hard to imagine something with the weight of 10+ loaded mags all on one side of you. Good for civilian uses, but i think being able to move in a fight is important.
i need something like that to keep my mags in order
I really like your set up. It makes much sense and the price is reasonable. Thanks for the discount code! It is on my list now.
At first glance it almost looks like a laptop bag. Nice bag and great review.
Love it!
GREAT VID SOOTCH
WILL IT ACCOMIDATE M14 MAGS?
How heavy is that bag when fully loaded?
Will it hold Pmag gen 3 40 round magazines
How does this work with 5.45x39mm AK-74 mags?
What kind of AR was he shooting in the beginning?
Would this fit SR25 mags? If so, how many? Thanks.
They make a 308 one
I want one or 2 lol. I will keep this site and the code and the code.
Thanks Sootch
Hmm...6 + 1 mags would be great for EDC...
wonder how much a bag like that would weigh fully loaded up?
What are the base plates on the gi mags (not the ranger plates)
They are Magpul USGI L-Plates.
Is that AR New Mr. sootch00??
still look like a gun bag kinda tight fit . use a diaper bag more room discreet urban camo lol. cheaper too on amazon
I see you've got the Lucid sight on your ar, is it good?
I'm working on a review now and so far so good. I'll have a full review soon.
Am I the only one who thinks you look like Val Kilmer in "Heat" shooting with that bag?
For 💩 and giggles I looked up a video for this item, and of course Sootch did it
What is the wheight when the mahs are full.
Mags sorry
Hahahahah the ending shut up.
Now is this AK friendly???
if bullets on the range are up and down all over its breathing, left and right all over its trigger pulling problems
$83 shipped with sootch discount.
You have too much fun :).
Are you retired or something?
sweet man purse
Looks like a great bag, but $70 is out of my price range for now. IMHO
They need to ban those high capacity Mag Bags because they increase the rate of fire for mass shooters. Sandy Hook and Aurora could have been prevented if High Capacity Mag Bags were restricted or banned.
God bless America ! - long live the republic ! - amen absolutely
The website actually calls it a - AR/Pistol 10/6 Mag Purse Bag - I guess PURSE isn't tactical-sounding enough for sootchie =) and it is discreet....until you whip that EBR out!! =)
I bet that's heavy when fully loaded.
I have one. With ten fully loaded AR mags and ten fully loaded Glock 9mm mags; It weighs 18 pounds....!!!
remember your breathing when firng (end of exhale)
Before you are about to seat in the mag slow down a bit
A X NCO Range Control Sergeant for Quals.
Grunt gear calls this the "Purse bag" - ha! I notice you changed the name, scootch.
Mag Bag = Man Bag = Purse.
Don't be hating on a good proof of concept.
Seems like a cool bag, but priced too high. I would be willing to pay no more than $40 for it.
a+++++
i hope its not made in china
I just ordered one in Coyote Brown..AND got my 15% discount...Thanks sootch00 for the discount and great videos..!!!....STLSNIPER.
