I watched two Sobos last year, and they both completed their treks. Maine and New Hampshire are horribly hard, but at least going Sobo you will have the hardest stuff out of the way first (well, maybe except for Pennsylvania). Also, one of the Nobos that I watch this year just had some morning temps of 37 and 43 in the Whites. So you might need that puffy after all. 😀
Good stuff. Are you looking for shakedown advice or are you pretty happy with what you've got? Multiple thru hiker, ultra runner and former guide here. Base weights right around 6lb usually running 20-50 a day. -Muad'dib
