We bought aa 23 Escape PHEV in April 24 . Ford gave us 0% interest, bluebook plus $2000 on our trade. Car was below MSRP. After 6 mos we are 100% happy with it. We were able to add prepaid services to 85k . Dealer is fantastic. The Prine was $10k more with 5% loan. We are ok with Front Wheel Drive. Would highly recommend at least a test drive to compare. We also got a $3750 tax rebate. That is not avail on foreign made PHEVs. We will always have a PHEV. Goid luck!

I own the Prime and it’s fantastic. If Ford wants to be competitive they need to offer this in AWD. Give it a bigger battery and more horsepower like the Prime.

My brother had an escape hybrid of the previous model and Ford has made a big mistake by putting the climate controls in the screen. Unnecessary and inferior. A real step backwards. It’s good that there is a drive mode button. However I have a knob combined with buttons on my RAv4 prime that I can use without even looking at it. I can easily make adjustments on the fly which you’ll want to do to make the best use of a PHEV.

When talking about price, you should mention that the Ford will sell below MSRP and the Toyota will likely sell ABOVE MSRP and possibly include minimally valuable dealer installed items that you can't refuse that are very effective at padding the price.

Drove the Kuga in Ireland multiple times for hundreds of kilometers (however far that is 😂). I’m 6’2” and had no issues. I like the car so much I wanted to buy one when I got home.
    Great video btw.

I bought a Alfa Romeo Sprint PHEV EAWD instead. For the little bit of extra money I spent, it was well worth it.

Yes sir It's a bit 🔥 hot next few days.
Good review and POV drive. I'm just not crazy about Fords in general.
Nothing exciting $ 48 k are they nuts?? Destination charge from Kentucky is overkill. !!!😮 Your sound quality was fine. Hybrids are ok but pricey.
Personally I'd like to see a Toyota Rav4 LE with the ICE engine in fwd or awd. Base level trim.
    Stay Hydrated 😅😅

Thanks David. Appreciate the feedback. At this price, this PHEV is too expensive. Got a couple GM vehicles coming tomorrow and Saturday.

I have a Honda Clarity. EV in town & gas for road trips. Can't beat a PHEV.

I'm actually trading in my Clarity for this car. I got hit by the fuel impeller issue, and nobody can find me a part before Christmas. Clarity is a wonderful car, minus this one small issue. I'd be keeping it if it weren't for that.

Yes. 48k is a big number for this vehicle. Thanks for tuning in.

🎉Nice car..looks good. Almost 50K for an Escape? The 2.5 L engine is Fords most reliable engine, I hear. This is unlikely to be a good value proposition. Very limited market at that cost. Interior far better than most Escapes. I don't care for the fussiness of the quilted seat sew style. I would anticipate less resale than a RAV-4 or a CRV. What about a base Hyundai Tucson or Kia Sportage..and save $20K.? This should be available at a substantial savings! Nice re

      Are Hyundai or KIA PHEVs?
