My birthstone! Except I think October is Peruvean Opal? Not sure on that one - I prefer Tourmaline, lol - I think it means something when a Tourmaline bracelet just randomly shatters. *Flatly refuses to get that song in her head again and begins humm Arabian Nights (from the original Aladin).* People in my building probably think I've lost it, but what else is new, lol. Thank you for making me laugh today! I thought that ink looked kinda like those fish egs ;)
I had to search for pink opals. I found many of them online, and well, they were all pink. I did see a raw uncutone that first i thought was a chunk of hymalayan salt. It was kind of orange pink. I dont quite get these orange pinks.
"Camera no workie." Hee hee, we use "no workie" all the time at work. Usually in "printer no workie" or "no money, no workie." 🤣🤣🤣You'd fit in well in our office / nut house. Now for the important question...is it spelled "worky" as in the transcription on the episode...or "workie" like we use? Inquiring (Inkquiring? ha!) minds want to know. I went looking at pictures of opalescence and they all look way pinker than this...which I think is orange...your ring opal looks orange to me as well? This is possibly a color rendition issue - camera, monitor, UA-cam processing, etc... It may be way pinker in reality than what we're seeing. Hey Maria, you're doing great!🥰🥰🥰
@@MariaRosseau Excellent all around! Glad you got a laugh, usually my sense of humor is such that it's only funny to me. The folks in our little immediate circle at the office are nothing short of amazing: smart, friendly, amazingly talented, dedicated...almost more like family than coworkers. You'd enjoy most of it, I'm sure. Our little office pen group is now up to five people, with I think three more who are interested but haven't gone down the rabbit hole like the rest of us. It's just a matter of time... 🤣🤣🤣
At my last job these designers thought of a great idea that they knew they'd regret later so they took a photo of themselves flipping off their future selves. 🤣🤣
This doesn’t remind me of opals (my birthstone) at all. Your ring is lovely - a great example of opals. And, it’s not pink (although I can see that it has a pink tone in the lighter application on the Coloring). See you tomorrow!

This ink totally does look the same color as those fish eggs! 🤣🤣🤣

Maybe orange is the new pink. 🤣🤣🤣

Agree…no money no workie…no pinkie in this case…all orangie.
@@SAM-ko5bj No pinkie, all orangie? hahahahahahahaha
They definitely look as orange in person as on camera.
It's spelled with an "ie", absolutely. And I get the feeling I'd have fun in your office! 🥰
This made me laugh out loud, thank you. 🩷🥰

Someone needs to go back to their color wheel on this one… oopsie, DeAtramentis.
Yeah for real. 🤣🥰

Happy birthday in advance! Can't be too far away now. 🥰🥰
Hi Maria, I don’t care for the „opal“… I’m here for the Pinks and this is…. not… 😄 Your ring is very pretty though!
Yeah this is a funky color to be called pink. 😅🥰
@@MariaRosseau perhaps another cathegory for your recap „funky pinks“ 😄
Wow so not pink in any remote way. Opal orange is a better name.
Haha I dunno, Diamine also thinks this is Pink. 😜🤣🤣🥰
@@MariaRosseau the namer needs to take a color blindness test 😆
