    Good work on the video, hope you do more of this kind of thing. Somehow in all my meanderings with audio over the years I’ve never found a 3 head tape deck so maybe I should try to track one down. Sounds like if you were to set it up as a send effect from a mixer so you can mix it with the dry signal, you’d avoid the latency when playing in live.

      True but you'd get a delay kind of effect, if that's what you're going for totally works

    Wow so much thx for that :) And no you dont talk too much its exact what I like when someone is describing it in detail :D I figured out to do it the ableton way with a jvc td-w218 but I am not able to change the pitch :( How much did you pay for your marantz pmd 221? they seem to be very expensive and only available in the usa too :/

      By pitch you mean time? Try throwing a simple delay with the dry/wet knob at 100% then you can change the time to whatever you need. I can't remember exactly how much but I've never paid over like $80US with shipping

    hi i watched tec he makes some misstake time to time i watch alot of this tape video low end home unit's had 2 head mainly
    the 4 track mono decks and they don't play the tape at the right speed i had a 4 track
    when i got a pro deck you could hear the speed was not right some where

    Young man when these were sold they were called field recorders....
