Thanks for the video. I'm actually from Portland. Born and bred. Moved to Virginia, farming...not the only reason I moved here. :-). Made a detour to Alaska. I lived in several of the suburbs of Portland thought my life, there was always a farmers market every Sat. I never really thought much of them till I moved away. Now I'm looking forward to growing my own food, and watching your videos. Made me a little home sick but thank you for the little taste of home.
Aw! Glad to bring back some good memories, P-Dawg! Thanks so much for your kind words. The climate is wonderful in Portland - at least this time of year. We love the constant breeze and beautiful sunshine. ;-)
A little shocked at the price of the eggs. Have some friends that lived up in Portland and they loved that farmer's market so it was nice to see someone else I know enjoy it as well. Thanks for sharing your experience, it looks amazing.
That's fantastic my friend. Ours are starting to pick up ! The ones in the city we love near are getting pretty big now. A few city streets shit down 2-3 days a week.
Looks like a great place to shop Tommy.. Some fantastic looking produce there.. Thinking about a price rise on your eggs mate ;) Was a bit strange to see a didgeridoo there a s well.. Thanks for the look mate...
I was thinking of you when the guy was playing the didgeridoo, Rob! Do you play? ;-) This market was simply stunning - not just the volume of vendors and customers, but the quality of what was offered was consistently excellent. We didn't see any produce that looked sub-par, and there were no shoddy booths. Top-notch in every respect.
Alderman Farms I don't Tommy but know a few guys that can belt out a good tune on a vacuum cleaner pipe :-/ PVC pipe works well too ;-) Not much in the way of farmers markets around here.. Do have a local Co-Op but we left as we weren't buying enough due to our own patch..
Wow, that was a great farmers market. Thanks for showing it to us.
Many thanks for sharing and taking the time to make have a blessed week

We have a small farmers market where we live (population 900), not nearly as big, but the produce is outstanding and all natural. Thanks for sharing
