Great explanation Jarad, as I haven't seen someone chop helmets in half before for comparison. I have a mid level Giro Mips helmet and like how the better models have more occipital bone protection at the lower rear of the skull. You also need to ensure your helmet holds your glasses in style 😆
2 halves make a full Amazon return it seems too. 🙈

There doesn’t look like much coverage with that helmet. Have a look at Lazer. Half the cost of Troy Lee but still has a 5 star safety rating at Virginia Tech
