  • In the face of the worsening economic crisis, families in Lebanon have been left on the brink of financial collapse, unable to afford basic needs and having to pick and choose which necessities to prioritise.
Very few are able to afford even partial tuition fees and in a country where education standards were among the highest, this is now posing a great danger to the future prospects of Lebanese children. This is why all proceeds from the Golden Jubilee Dinner will go directly towards paying the school fees of students in need in Lebanon.
The Maronite Eparchy, in collaboration with Maronites on Mission, and with its partners are taking the initiative to support and stand by its sons and daughters. The Golden Jubilee Year celebrations of the Maronite Eparchy provide the perfect platform to rally together in support of our homeland.
    Who are we helping?
Funds will go towards paying the school fees of students who have been directly impacted by the economic crisis and whose families meet selection criteria. The students are in schools in various locations, some of which in remote areas, across multiple regions in Lebanon where the schools are also under threat of closing down. With students in danger of losing the essential opportunity to receive an education, the future of an entire generation is threatened.
