- Daphnia Epiphany for My Fish Breeding Ponds and Divided Tank. Hello World! Today I wanted to share with you Magna Daphnia aka Russian Red Daphnia. I had a few thoughts I wish I had earlier in the season on how to utilize the daphnias and wanted to share with you those epiphanies.

You go out in the rain and get sopping wet just to show us things...now that's dedication. The greenhouse is da bomb digity.
You are the shit man!! So much info. And much more personable with live streams. I bet you will become wayyyyy bigger than other fish tubers!!
sweet greenhouse and congratulations getting killifish fry.
Nice yard! I like your tub set up. I'm going to have to try tubbing. It looks like fun. Your set up is very nice.
Tubbing is the bees knees!
Missed the live stream but awesome video bro as always
Nice wildlife area with the half dug pond! Feel the same way as the raccoons about water lettuce, I usually end up bailing it out before I work on my aquariums, good for water quality though.
Lol thats why I dont have much of it in my tanks, especially when it comes to trying to catch a fish.
Liked your video as always!
Another awesome video!
👍
That mat of Val is crazy thick; rename it Jungle Gorilla Val :)
It's lovely to see the rain, can you send some my way. Thanks for the update and sharing your experience about daphnia.
Gettin dry down there eh? Its rain 3 days straight here.
@@LRBaquatics we're in drought, My Mum hasn't seen rain for about 3 years and we haven't seen any since October last year.
Wow that is crazy! Do they chemtrail the sky to break up the clouds or is it normal?
@@LRBaquatics ,Australia's the driest continent on the planet, But this is getting beyond a joke. Chem trails are everywhere and you always see them. Is that why it only rains around capital city water catchments, cause it's what seems to be happening around here.
it's not a sinkhole my brother is it love your vids
Like the green house. Have you been following Rachel's? Thanks Lucas.
I have seen some of it and its nice and love the tubs she has.
You should be able to rent a rototiller that should make it easier to dig out the dirt in the pond...that will loosen it up, then you just have to shovel it out of the way.
Thats a good idea
💕👍
How do you feed daphnia by "greens"? Manually? Each day?
do your tubs overflow from the heavy rain?
They do and have an overflow drilled in
daphnia are amazing i use em to in all my tanks it's cool cause you throw a netful into the tanks with babies and the ones that are to big to eat will just make babies that they can eat so there's always food available.
@lrb at 1:35 the thermometer that you have on the tank with Picta rainbows where did you get it? and how do you feel bout it?
I got them from ebay and china, they last about a year and only read in Celsius.
@@LRBaquatics you feel their worth it? I like the idea of being able to read the temp from across the room to keep an eye on misbehaving heaters or other fluctuations.
How do you feed daphnia in your fish tanks? You can't give them yeast! ?
@@DEXTER-TV-series daphnia only got fed green water in their breeding buckets. In the tanks they fend for themselves till the end.
So what you just cleared the mud off the drain, and it dried out the backyard? Fuck ya man. Good job.
Lol yep just need a shovel. I knew because all the sticks were gathering in once spot. Just glad it wasnt a sinkhole that could have went the other way lol
Why are nearly all your tanks green water bro...?
I have about 6 out of the 200+ with green water. I have debated whether to get rid of them but at the same time they become beneficial for extremely small fry and daphnia.
