Love Prodigy PA discs. I have a PA3 and a PA4, both in 400 plastic. They are so reliable. I don't have any A series discs. I'll take the A4 when I win the contest 😂 Love your vids!!

@@GingerSnapDiscGolfmy Pa4 is one that's made in China and I just love that one! The others are made in the USA. There is no flashing on any of them. I fell in love with the feel of the 400 plastic as it's tacky and doesn't fly overstable. I'm 67 and I need more understable
I love how their 400 plastic is tacky but not overstable like how a lot of other company’s translucent plastic can be! Hey, no shame in more understable! I hope I’m still playing when I’m 67!
I'll be honest, I'm a bit bummed that Prodigy made a big deal about how as numbers go up across each line/series of disc (P, PA, A, M, F, X, D) it goes from overstable to understable and they bucked that trend with the A5, they could have just given it a one-off name like the Distortion but now it'll confuse anyone new to their lineup. Thanks for putting this together and showing off all these discs!
I see what you mean for sure! A buddy of mine introduced the A5 to me months ago and he told me it was like a zone and I told him there is no way… 😂 then I threw it and was shocked! I will say, it is much easier to get left to right movement with it compared too the other A series from my experience so far. No problem, glad you enjoyed and hope it helped!
I might have overlooked Prodigy, I'd say there are two reasons why: 1.When I was starting out with my disc golf journey, they had major QC issues. 2. EVERY SINGLE wannabe Seppo Paju and Väinö Mäkelä kiddos bags nothing but Prodigy. And in my experience, said kiddos need to be taught some basic manners and disc golf etiquette. Every second word is a curse word, they play in groups of 6-10, don't give way to faster groups/solos coming through, keep emptying their entire bags on short holes even when there is the aforementioned backlog of players behind their group and also steal discs from other players. It's nice that they are outside and active but... I don't know, maybe I'm just becoming the old and grumpy "get off my lawn, the oldern days were better" type 😅
I definitely think people overlook prodigy, or it’s all they bag! I have not seen many in between people, here recently tho I have been hearing more people talk about their approach discs and I think the Pa3 has always been iconic in disc golf world! It can be tough to see the best in people all the time on the course for sure, especially if they seem to be not very self aware 🙃 I think we all have days we feel more grumpy than others 😂
That’s awesome! I definitely like how stable the A3 is on forehand but I need to throw it more on backhand to see how it flies for me. It’s funny you mention getting a flat one, I just recently found a flat A2 and love the feel even more than the slightly comet A2s

a3 is money, i got two aces two weeks apart with one of those. just try to get the flat ones.

Th PA-5 is money. If you prefer a deeper disc, look for the Spin instead.
I’m not sure if I have thrown the spin before, I’m usually not the biggest fan of deeper discs, I do like the Luna tho and it’s pretty deep!
