Do you have a comparison between the 5M and the 5M Pro? What are the upgrades you'd add to the 5M to make it a Pro I guess, is what I'm asking. Aside from the enclosure.
Don't have a 5M Pro to compare side by side but the differences are an Aux Fan, Enclosure, Camera, Hardened Steel Nozzle and Extra Nozzle (nozzles are expensive on Flashforges). It doesn't justify the $200 to $230 USD price difference between the 2 if you can retro fit it all for $125 (minus nozzle. Unless you don't want to do the work to install/print it yourself.
The wife said I need to buy another one just for her to use. Smh. I am trying to get the new Flsun S1 to play with. Delta printer with 1000mm/s print speeds (realistically 600mm/s).
@cagerage21 Only because I like modifying printers would I say the 5M over upgrading to a 5M PRO. If you just want all the features already installed and save some time then buy the PRO.
@3DandTeePrinting Hell yeah man! Your wife has me thinking on that P1S lol. She was quick in that video! Thanks for all the info man keep kicking ass on here!
@cagerage21 I tired to get her to do a Full Length on her Full feelings on each but she wanted to just do a short. Then said I should do a Good and Bad on the 5M. I think she likes it most because of the price and results in printing. I still say the P1S is the best All Around Printer. Size, Speed, Price, and Ease of use. But I am mad at Bambu right now. Just put out a short on Why. There is a Easter egg in there too. Hint: I am going to eat some Bambu.
Amazon currently for the $299. Promo deal is over but I have seen it coke back from time to time as an add on to the $100 instant coupon on Amazon. a.co/d/3di6Lxv
@SneakySneaky1010 Yes(ish). If you print the enclosure! You will either have to buy the acrylic panel upgrade kit or cut your own panels. The Nozzle Temp only gets to 280c, so it CAN reach temps for ABS/ASA. I have had success with ABS and ASA with it. I PREFER Machines that can get to 300c and Above BUT the 280c is enough. I wouldn't relay on it to print PC or straight Nylons as they need hotter enclosure and hotter nozzle temps. BUT again WITH the Enclosure it's not a hard task for the 5M to print ABS/ASA. To enclose it yourself and add a camera is about $100 in parts compared to the $200 extra for the PRO version. The 5M would be the same as the 5M PRO WITH the enclosure and camera.
I just got it and i tried to print something and when it was heating up it turned off and everytime i try to print something it turns off, do you know how to fix it?

@EpicEruptor13 Try another outlet NOT on the same electric line and see if you are just asking to much of your electric circuit. Also make sure you have the Voltage on the printer set to your country's norm. USA 110-115 EU 220-240

Just be on the LOOK OUT for them on social media posts by them. Only Flashforge knows when they drop them a little lower then $299 USD. But usually it's around big holiday celebrations or Anniversaries.
Core xy for 270 is pretty good tbh
Unheard of. Usually they are over $400 for a decent core xy printer.

Might have to jump on this! Sale ends soon! You seem to be enjoying it. The good seems to outweigh the bad?

Why do you need the enclosure?
@@stevencarrier5060 To be able to print ABS/ASA of other up to 280c Materials that need a constant ambient temperature.

What material and at what temps is clogging happening?
Is it loud?
No not really it's actually surprising quiet for the speeds it reaches.

But does it print tpu
Yes it does but you have to deactivate the filament runout and feed it directly into the extruder.
