Gotta disagree. As an artist myself the angles, composition, and overall feel Jessica got were just amazing. Though Matt was wonderful as well, but Jess just has such a dope feel to hers that arent cliche

I disagree, Matt shots in the second round were good but still seems amatuer-ish in terms of composition. His post-production edits are nowhere near Jess' level.

There is one where an amateur photographer uses her camera. But your idea could be fun! A complete beginner will have no idea of what to do. Maybe he will end up using automatic mode.
The only thing Matt is behind on really is the editing and his colours... that's where you can tell he's new to the game, but in terms of posing and creativity... MAN HE'S GOOD
How about portrait photographer does landscape photography? Landscape photographer vs portrait photographer and letting each other choose their location(no time limit)
Shoutout to Mat, he destroyed Jessica in the second round. Jessica's decision to shoot wide didn't play out, photos are stretched and weird looking. Mat did a better job in my opinion
Matt has great views on what he wants in his picture. With some practice on the quality of pictures he takes combined with what he wants the sky the is the limit. Great video.

The golden hour light really helped Matt in the second one and I think he would have won the first one too but I felt like Jessica's editing was just better in the first one

Matt's work was amazing not to mention how much chemistry he had to make the model relax and do her best work. Plus for a beginner he seemed like he was giving great direction too. I gotta say he absolutely ran away with it this time

This was a great vlog . I loved the pictures from both photographers but Matt was more of my style . He Definitely earned a subscriber Can’t wait to see him in a few years he can only get better. He’s seems humble and with only 4 months under his belt his results were nice!

For me, I preferred the composition of Jessica’s photos in the first round, but I loved the energy in Matt’s photos second round. Both excellent!

I think Jessica had it in the beginning but on the second shoot I would say I liked Matt’s shot the best. Preferably the one of her on the grass. He captured the lighting so well
I been a photographer for about 6 years & looking at the first session. Jessica did great with the editing but Matt kill it. And the second Session. Matt made a touch down. Jessica your work is absolutely beautiful. I been following you for 4 years now.

I think the first round Jessica did an amazing job (very nice, well distributed, artistic), but in the second they seemed kinda weird (especially the lying down one, she looked like a dead body, and it was so far away too, idk, seems like a weird photo) also, in the second round Matt hit us with the stunning sun lit photo, and he won that round!

I love Jessica’s content. She has such a wonderful way expressing her art through photography. I would love is she would add the settings on the after pictures when she takes them. Like showing the aperture iso and shutter speed selected at the corner of the picture. It would be nice so that we could learn a little bit of how you photograph in different environments.
Again awesome content. I love how she is a professional photographer and still gives people the opportunity to expose themselves in her channel and learn.

I think Matt has a bright future! He is already so much better than I was at the 4 month mark. Investing in a pro lens and working on editing will be areas for improvement. And Jess could learn a bit from Matt about being direct and going for the poses you want! It's tough working with professional models all the time because it's easy to just set up the shot and let them serve you looks.
As always you do a great job. Matt is very good. He sure knows what poses he wants and has very good instincts.
As long as you don't start climbing the power line towers you are safe to be there.
So the thing that stands out to me is the editing style. His shots & poses were on point.

Damn Matt, that was epic. He should teach portrait photography honestly. And props to the model, she's very cool and flows very well with direction but at the same time adding her own style. I felt that if the goal was to get a couple of great shots in a short amount of time, Matt wins just because Jessica was talking too much like she said herself, although I don't blame her, this was also a casual shoot. And also, sometimes I feel that her descriptive directions get too complicated hahaha. Like for example, instead of saying, "show me sad" she would say, "imagine you're in a football game and your team is loosing but you don't want the people sitting beside to notice". A lot of photographers do this and I think it's too much haha but what do I know she's obviously a pro and props to her and Matt and ofcourse the model, Meca. Great video, I loved it!
