😮First time commenter, long time watcher. Idk if you've pointed out that for the price mattell charges in general, and after having access to R.H. and the different materials and fabrics; Mattell should have better fabric. We know thanks to R.H. they have access to higher quality so why Mattell doesn't seem to do this for collectors dolls is beyond me. Especially the Jack Skeletington one piece tuxedo. That was a turn off for me. After R.H. I can't spend so much money on such cheap materials. That's my opinion. So I get the pickiness.
Feel like Cleo and Deuce was just thrown together where Clawd and Draculaura actually had thought put into it, which is a lot coming from a Cleo Stan lol
I understand how you feel. It's so easy to get caught up in the hype just because something is shiny and new and most of the internet says it's good, and then a month from now no one seems to care about those dolls anymore. I'm trying to do better myself and only buy the dolls I'm obsessed with, like thinking about for days or weeks or months, instead dolls that are just kinda cute and a good deal. Not doll hunting anymore also helps with impulse buying.
I think that Mattel has very expensive dolls compared to MGA. I really want to see Cupid and Valentine 🩷
I am going to say I prefer the snakes on the box, I am biased though, Deuce is my favourite male doll.
Elvira, if Draculaura was sold separately for $30 would you have bought it and have a better opinion on it. Also the dark top your wearing makes your face and other features stand out more. You always look great.
That is a good point, maybe if she was $30 on her own. I paid 90 for the set, so I am not as in love.
And thank you, I tend to lean towards darker clothes. Most of my closet is black.
no im really glad the frac and clod two pack didn’t sell out cos this is by far one of my all time favorite packs to come out😭😭 i don’t see what yall see w them. i love everything ab them BUT i do wish the umbrella was painted, other than that, it’s an amazing pack
I hear ya on the cold, but it gets so hot here that I don’t mind a few cold days. I actually saw that set at Target the other day. I looked at it and felt the same way, like part of me wanted to buy it but the other part was like eh. So I didn’t get it. A doll or toy really has to spark joy for me to want to get it these days.
I was let down by both of the 2-packs. I love a good couple moment but those designs aren't for me. Even though Clawd and Draculaura were one of my favourite pairings in G1, I didn't want to buy them. Maybe if they released a pack with less common boy doll? Like Invisi Billy or Garrot?

I love the base doll of Cleo in the howliday 2 pack. I liked the 1st howliday Drac more than the 1 in the 2 pack. I was a little tempted to buy for Clawd since I’ve never owned a g1.
I still don’t know much about doll collecting but I’m glad i got my first monster high doll wish I had more dolls

These are cute but I also don't love them. I don't get the collector dolls because they are out of my budget but there are some that I have definitely loved. I think they should have given these sets more. And, btw, your hair looks amazing!

Honestly, I feel like with the draculaura and clawd two pack, it should have been more darker, more muted, vintage shades for both of the characters. I don’t think that the styling is necessarily bad. Although to me. Clawd looks like MC hammer. But yeah, I feel like the set is underwhelming. If they gave draculaura a more Victorian flare with her look, it would have appealed to me more. Take clawd for example. His signature doll is dressed very much like a worker in the 1920s. if they decided to go with a more muted tone with that particular kind of style and made it more romantic, it would have looked a lot better to me. Plus the makeup with Draculauras look and hair just clashes to me and goes into cheap territory. if they made her look a bit more in line with the vampire heart doll, I’m sure she would have appealed to more people. Of course cheaper but still. I feel the most these sets in general should be priced at is 30, or 35.
I love your channel but Cleo isn't my fave I don't love the dress but it's good doll set love the accessories are cute second one is cute I love the second one
I'm not into Monster High, I only have two and they are the older ones. I got a Cloe doll and I feel the same way about her. I did take her hair down and I like her better, but I won't be buying any more Bratzs dolls.

No, you're correct. They are both terrible. They don't have a $60 value in quality, that's for sure.

Majority of the special edition and collector MH are just not impressive to me, I mean if you compare them to RH, integrity toys, OMGs etc the quality and designs pale in comparison, and I agree nostalgia is the main reason people buy and hype these g1 alumni dolls. However, the jinafire fang club doll looks cool and more worth the price but aside from her, I'm good off of these dolls.
