My husband, daughters, and I had Father’s Day dinner at the Leaky Cauldron yesterday and had Frozen Butterbear (well-stirred) and Sticky Toffee Pudding for the first time. Oh…My…Goodness!! What have I been missing my whole life!!??
The Sticky Toffee Pudding was absolutely delicious. It has the consistency of a moist, thick bread pudding and comes with a side of, I think, clotted cream (it’s some kind of cream). Very rich so it’s great to share. A must-try.
Huge thank you for the constant amazing content. Coming the first week of September for the first time and your content doesn’t ruin what to expect and it’s just so informative! Thank you! 😊
Thank you so much, you’re so sweet! We hope you have the BEST time on your trip! We’re glad to hear that we don’t ruin any of the fun or the surprises, too. We hate spoilers and never want to “ruin” anything for anyone!! Thanks for watching!
We went to Lombard's while at the park last week. We were going to go cheap, but it was really hot outside and the cheaper food options had a crowd of people standing on the outside in the sun. The best part about Lombard's is it was inside and cool and we were there an hour in the middle of a hot day. I had the lobster roll, which was cold and it hit the spot. I think I also had 3 iced teas with lemons. Without that stop, the next several hours at the park would have been tough. It was expensive but I have to say in that scenario it was worth it.
Sometimes the sit-down restaurants are worth it for the break they give you! It really can get overwhelming in the summer with the heat and the crowds, so we totally get that. Lombard’s is just plain good, too!
For those of us who have never been to Universal, I would love a map that pops up in between location segments that shows an amazing ThePughTwo icon going location to location. Via a dotted line or something for the route you went. Though I do understand most of the locations are typically the same square/area.
We love that idea and we’ve actually tried to make something like that happen before, but it’s a lot easier said than done! Lol we don’t quite have the editing or animation skills to make that happen yet, but we’re working on it!
My whole family is going on our first full blown vacation next month at universal. We have been watching plenty of you two's videos to help plan some and would just like to say thank you for all the tips and ideas!
That’s so exciting! We hope you and your family have a blast at the parks, and we’re so glad our videos have been helpful! We appreciate you watching, so thank you!
I love it when y'all do the food tasting because of y'all I got a pretty good idea what I want to eat when I go when I finally get to go thanks y'all so much
Easy three broomsticks fish and chips with butter beer for me i get emotional with just how immersive it is with the castle in the background and hagrids motorbike flying through the forest couple feet away harry potter I used to dream about being there and now I'm here its just unbeatable and the fish and chips mhm the best imagine no crowds easily would be the best thing to exist in history!

This was a great video! Hoping you do one for IOA too. One tip for food for families is that you can mobile order a whole pizza from Louie’s. Definitely the best deal for families for lunch or dinner. We do one pizza for our family of five and an order of breadsticks!
We absolutely plan to! And yes! The pizza is such a great deal. We always see families getting like four separate slices and we wish we could’ve told them! Lol I guess we should talk about that in a future video.. that would probably be a great tip to mention! 😂
IOA food tour is definitely in the works! We’re so glad you enjoyed this one and we’re glad our videos have been helpful!! We hope you have the BEST time on your trip!
Binge watching you guys! Going in 2 weeks and haven't been in 20 years! Cant wait for the bananas foster creme brulee crepe! Would've missed out on it it was in another video for Mardi Gras food and im beyond excited to try it!!

Have to say a huge huge thank you for reference about exact location. We did go this past January. We saw food volgs but couldn't find half of the places. So thank you thank you about exactly where. Plus so good food tips. We like to share if we can. Thanks guys. A big big help.
Thank you so much, Paula! We do our best to try to help people navigate the parks and have a great time on their trips, so it’s nice to know it was appreciated. Thank you for watching!
Lombards is definitely the best place to eat in studios especially if you like seafood. I have never ate at Finnegans the past 2 trips as something always kept us from eating there but I told everyone next trip we are making that the priority restaurant to eat at! Looks similar to “9 fine Irishman” that we’ve ate at in Las Vegas that I always like
The sit down restaurants are great, and it’s a great way to get out of the heat for a little while! You’ll have to let us know what you think of Finnegan’s, too!
Ate Finnegan's years and years and years ago lol. Dad was joking with the waiter about them not having Mt. Dew. They guy left, and went and got a bottle and brought it back. Was awesome.
I just got hungry (and I'm fasting so that doesn't help either lol)! Seeing as how I added another day to my trip I needed to add another dinner option and this video really helped me weigh my options (I knowwwww, I'm going to stop...I'm at 10 days now. If I keep watching you two I'm going to end up being there a whole month lol)! Whatever day I go to the crepe stand and try my first butterbeer (probably day 1) that's the day I'm going to wear my "The Pugh Two Made Me Do It" T-shirt lol....oh yeah!!!!
😂🤣 you’re killing us! You’re going to have SO much fun on your trip. At this point, I think we’re as excited for you to go to the parks as you are! Lol there’s so much good food if you know where to find it!
Your videos are so slick in every way. Love how you go in with a theme or topic and your presentation is so great, as is the editing (ps, they're jacket potatoes here in the UK too, or 'jacket spuds' if you want to sound REALLY British!)
Thank you so much Marcus! We try to out our spin on things! Lol you have no clue what you’ve started, Anna is going to kill me when I won’t refer to a potato in any other way than a jacket spud 🤣
I have been eyeing the crepes for months now, and noticed they removed the blueberry lemon one! Because we are not going to Studios until June, 2023, I sought out a crepes place in Niagara Falls, Ontario last week on our trip there, just to get my fix!
Thanks to you, Anna and Tyler, We already have our food journey at Universal mapped out. We will be eating after Simpsons And Jimmy Fallon rides, not before. Thanks! 👍
And I forgot lol but my wife's and my favorite places to eat at USF are The Leaky Cauldron & Lombard's. Also, the random "yes!" when Anna was outside the bakery next door to Lombard's made me chuckle lol
I adore you guys! Thank you so much for all your videos and hard work, they really help with planning our trip to Universal Studios as we are from Canada ❤ (PS: Totally joining your family!)
I have been to the park so many times I never realized that there was a pastry restaurant right there next to Seafood joint I'll have to try both of them next time
What is the best family friendly sit down? We are def going to minions cafe and green eggs and ham but what other than those 2 would be good options? we will be there in 3 weeks. EXCITED
Thanks for all your videos I love them! Now I need to know how to eat the crepes! Lol my husband and I tried them yesterday and it was a mess. Tasty but sooo messy
Lol it’s always a mess! Sometimes you get one that’s folded tighter than others and it’s a little bit easier, but we suggest using Guy Fieri’s sandwich stance and just going at it! 😂🤣
Can you do an island of adventures one? I'm going there on April 3rd and I'm trying to see the best place to go for a family of 4 who's on a budjet. Thank you!☺
We always stick to Central Park Crepes. The combination of value and quality cannot be beat. They are always so messy to eat, but dang are they tasty. 😋
What’s up Pugh Crew! As of now I don’t have a favorite place to eat in Studios. After watching this video, I’ve marked a few on the app to try. I’m definitely going to try the crepes at Central Park crepe. I always thought Today’s Cafe was for the skinny and healthy folks! I like to eat!🤣 We usually end up at Leaky Cauldron. I always get the fish n chips. I’ll be trying frozen and potted cream butter beers next time. We always leave the park to eat pizza at Red Brick Oven. If Louie’s pizza is better; I’m sold! Sometimes it’s just too hot to eat and my body just wants water. My daughter loves the donuts in Simpsonland for some reason. That’s all she’ll eat. Did they ever announce the new Hollywood star? Earlier this year it was rumored it was for Betty White. That would be awesome. The best shakes are at Schwab’s pharmacy. I had the best malt I’ve ever tasted there and I worked at Sonic Drive in as a teenager. It was so good I gave the cast member a hug. I didn’t care about COVID contact at all!😂😂
So much good food at the parks! Lol you’ll have to let us know if any of our suggestions live up to the hype or not. I would say Louie’s and Red Oven are just very different types of pizza, but both worth trying! I remember hearing something about a new star, but I can’t remember who it was. Betty White would be a great one!
Besides the Three Broomsticks, my favorite place to eat there is the Hard Rock Cafe. I'm a HUGE fan of Michael Jackson and they had his actual belt when he was with his 4 other brothers in the Jacksons before his solo career. BTW brand new sub to the channel, keep up the great work y'all! 👍
Hard Rock Cafe is great! We don’t eat there a ton because it’s one of the few places that you can experience outside of Universal, but it’s always good when we do! That’s also the biggest one in the world in CityWalk, which is really cool! We’re so glad you’re enjoying our videos and we’re happy to have you here!!
LOVE LOVE LOVE this video...next time I'm there going to try a few of the ones you showed. Eaten at several of them but going to try the others...Thanks guys. You Rock!
Are you able to make a video for people with disabilities or walking issues? To show what Universal has to offer for them. Would be an awesome video to see as I have back issues but we are going in November.
I have osteoarthritis arthritis and hear ya , my best recommendation is stay off the roller coasters especially Hagrids unless you have a really good back brace and are ready with a mitt load of pain killers and muscle relaxants. Rent a ECV ( there are local services that will rent for cheaper for your vacation then getting a park one each day and they deliver to n pickup from your resort. Call the resort your staying at and find out what companys they recommend) for your for total park trip to give you as much relief as possible, go to Park services and get a special needs wrist band ( do not be embarrassed to do so) , and most of ALL let park associates know of your needs they have training in ways to make your trip enjoyable as possible and safe.
Great video !! Would be even better if there's a reference to pricing. Does the lard lad donuts place really use lard in the food or is it just the simpsons reference 🤔 😳
Unfortunately we just don’t have a lot of news about this year’s event, yet! We do have some planning/tips videos in the works. First one will drop next week!
Me and my boyfriend have never been to universal and we booked the Harry Potter package and we're going next month (August). We are so excited 😭😭 I'm going to cry so much and I don't even care lol
That’s so exciting! And don’t worry, we both cried the first time we walked into the wizarding world! Especially Diagon Alley, it’s just unbelievable! You’re gonna have an absolute blast!
Hi - Do you have a recommendation in Universal Orlando for dinner where the drinks are good too? We're meeting another group for dinner and want to hang out afterwards. Is it better to pick one place for dinner and then move somewhere else for drinks? Thanks again!!
We’re not big drinkers so we’re not really sure! There are several bars around CityWalk, though! All the restaurants serve drinks and I can think of at least 4 stand alone bars out there!
How many videos do you guys usually film per trip to the park? It seems like you guys film several to offer content over the time between visits. Do you spend a significant amount of time on your visits filming or do you still have a lot of time just to enjoy the parks and hang out? It seems like it would be a full time job to get all that y’all do!
Hey Jordan! We spend a vast majority of the time filming at this point. We try to give ourselves an hour or so each day to just relax, but other than that we are filming!
We’re actually planning on doing a vegan/veg video before too long, but there are several offerings in the parks! Pretty much every restaurant, including quick service, has at least one vegan/veg. option!
A little late to the party here, but I just started having some interest in Universal (never been there) so I just found you guys. But I have a weird question. Why do the menus that you show have no prices? Is it a surprise how much you have to pay at these places until you sit down, lol?
@@ThePughTwo I know, it was strange, but every time I stopped the video to look at the menu, there were no prices. I mean there were a couple... I'm guessing I just looked at some that didn't have it. Strange, but no worries.
Yeah we decided to not count places like Starbucks, Schwabs, and Florean’s. We just went with places that you can get full fledged meals! Schwab’s had great milkshakes, though!
I’m pissed monsters cafe closed. Amazing theming better then any other universal restaurant and one of the last bits of universal history shown in the park
@@ThePughTwo personally, I hope they just relocated to epic universe when it’s finished. After all they’re getting in entire area dedicated to the universal classic monsters. I for one am a huge fan. But we’re really bothered me. Is they close at on Friday the 13th of all things
As an English native, the Jacket potato stand is: A. Overpriced B. Completely wrong The butter topping should not be added before the butter, as the butter needs to melt into the potato before the topping is added. Also the Yorkshire pudding batter for the Toad in the Hole in leaky cauldron is far too dense.
It’s obviously overpriced for the real world, but everything is in the parks haha! The other parts we have no clue about, but we would love to try it the correct way!
@@ThePughTwo make your own at home, decent fist sized potato, oven bake on a tray for 30-40 minutes or until skin starts to blacken at 200 Celsius or 400 Fahrenheit. Cut a slit length ways 3qtrs of the way thru and carefully pry apart to create a sort of pocket, use a fork to slightly fluff up the potato, melt a small knob of butter to coat the fluffed potato. Popular toppings are, cheese(a nice melty one like cheddar or red Leicester, or a mix) Tuna mayonnaise Coronation Chicken (do u have that in US🤔) Cottage cheese I've probably overcomplicated it🤣
Usually just with the preferred and premier! Right now, through the end of September the power pass does get EPA for Passholder Appreciation Days, though!
That’s a great question! They’re made to order, so we don’t see why not, but they’ll probably charge you the same as a filled crepe since that’s not an official menu item.
What is your favorite place to eat at the parks?!
Cowfish... inside the parks though, Mythos
Leaky Cauldron!
The tots are the best! So excited about the new tots to try!
Today Cafe, Mythos, and Thunder Falls
City Walk is where the best food is... special shout outs to Antojitos and Big Fire! 😋

The Sticky Toffee Pudding was absolutely delicious. It has the consistency of a moist, thick bread pudding and comes with a side of, I think, clotted cream (it’s some kind of cream). Very rich so it’s great to share. A must-try.
They serve Sticky Toffee pudding in that heat? That is definitely a winter dessert in the UK 😅

You Rock!
Thank you so much! We really appreciate that! You’ll have to let us know if they live up to your expectations or not! Lol
Everyone in Wisconsin looking at the Loaded Jacket Potato, "Wait. Doesnt everyone eat baked potatoes like that?"
Lol they’re so good!
Are you able to make a video for people with disabilities or walking issues? To show what Universal has to offer for them. Would be an awesome video to see as I have back issues but we are going in November.
We will try to gather some information about that!
@@ThePughTwo awesome can't wait to see what information you find!
Great video !! Would be even better if there's a reference to pricing. Does the lard lad donuts place really use lard in the food or is it just the simpsons reference 🤔 😳
Lol I think it’s just a Simpson’s restaurant! We’ll keep that in mind for next time, too. Thanks!
hi what would you recomend for islands of adventure
We plan on doing a video like this for Islands, but the tots at Green Eggs & Ham are great!
@@ThePughTwo when will that be released
I hope to catch the crepe stand when it isn't too crowded!
We hope you do, too! The line hasn’t been just crazy on our last few trips, so we’re hopeful for you! Lol
Have you two tried the crepes in the France Pavilion at Epcot?
We haven’t but we need to!!
When are we gonna get an update video for HHN this year? I feel like y’all would have more knowledge of the updates for HHN than most of us fans.
Do the sit down table service restaurants let people share? My husband and I try to share so we don’t overeat.
Yes. My husband & I share and then snack whatever my daughter has left over. That leaves us room for all of us to share a dessert. 😁
@@mzfyt1031 oh good thanks!
Absolutely! We think that’s a great idea too cause there is so much good food!
Haha y’all sound like us!
Absolitely! My wife and I share all the time! Can't load up on too much food before Gringott's or The Mummy! We often split an appetizer.
Boom goes the dynamite
💥💥💥
Crepes ARE the best!
The absolute best best!
Leaky Cauldron. but I haven't been since the Central Park Crepes has opened, im sure that would become #1 once I try it
Leaky Cauldron is great!! All this talk about park food is making us hungry! Lol
Louie's is my go to place at USF.
It’s so good! We eat there every trip! Lol
can you please do disney springs restaurants/ attractions that are disney springs?
We’ll keep this is mind, thank you for the suggestion!
Any recommendations for Vegan eating either in the park(s) or at City Walk? Thanks!
We’re actually planning on doing a vegan/veg video before too long, but there are several offerings in the parks! Pretty much every restaurant, including quick service, has at least one vegan/veg. option!
@@ThePughTwo we're heading to the park(s) for two days in December and it'd be great to know what's what and you're the only peeps I trust 🤣
A little late to the party here, but I just started having some interest in Universal (never been there) so I just found you guys. But I have a weird question. Why do the menus that you show have no prices? Is it a surprise how much you have to pay at these places until you sit down, lol?
Do they not?? Lol I can’t think of anywhere that doesn’t have prices when you walk up!
@@ThePughTwo I know, it was strange, but every time I stopped the video to look at the menu, there were no prices. I mean there were a couple... I'm guessing I just looked at some that didn't have it. Strange, but no worries.
Do you have any idea if Universal will bring back character dinning?
I'm not sure! They brought it back for HHN this year, so that's a good sign!
@@ThePughTwo that’s awesome! Do you know which restaurants or characters?
Time to do a HHN video it's getting closer lol
Wednesday 👀👀👀
I guess Schwann's doesn't quite count as a restaurant? I guess it is only treats, though it's the only place to get Dole Whip in USO.
Yeah we decided to not count places like Starbucks, Schwabs, and Florean’s. We just went with places that you can get full fledged meals! Schwab’s had great milkshakes, though!
So where did you end up going? What did you get after that walk through? I need to know how this ended. 😂
Haha that’s a great question. This video is way too old for me to remember, idk what I ate yesterday 😂😂 it’s a mystery to us all!
Had no idea on crepes...next time...😮
You gotta try the crepes! They’re the BEST!
@The Pugh Two you guys aint let me down yet....yet....lol jk
I wonder if they will have a new monster Cafe in epic universe...
That would be awesome!!
Islands: thunder falls in Jurassic park. USF: leaky cauldron. City walk, there are many places, but our standby is usually the breadbox.
It’s so funny that breadbox is what you call your standby, cause that’s exactly what we call it!
I’m pissed monsters cafe closed. Amazing theming better then any other universal restaurant and one of the last bits of universal history shown in the park
It was upsetting, for sure! It’s part of it I guess, though. They gotta keep updating to keep people interested!
@@ThePughTwo personally, I hope they just relocated to epic universe when it’s finished. After all they’re getting in entire area dedicated to the universal classic monsters. I for one am a huge fan. But we’re really bothered me. Is they close at on Friday the 13th of all things
As an English native, the Jacket potato stand is:
A. Overpriced
B. Completely wrong
The butter topping should not be added before the butter, as the butter needs to melt into the potato before the topping is added.
Popular toppings are, cheese(a nice melty one like cheddar or red Leicester, or a mix)
Tuna mayonnaise
Coronation Chicken (do u have that in US🤔)
Cottage cheese
I've probably overcomplicated it🤣
whats the price range for cleetus chicken shake
I’d say around $12-17, but I’m not 100%. You can see prices on the app for most restaurants!
The real question is… Central Park Crepes or Green Eggs and Ham Cafe tots?
Crepes, for sure! The tots are great theme park food, but the crepes are just good. Period! Lol
What about Cafe la bomba?? Any good?
It’s only open for special events like VIP tours, unfortunately!
Are y’all going to be there wendsday
Unfortunately, no! We’re back in TN right now. We hope you have a great time in the parks, though!!
Random question but can you get early park admission to the parks with the power annual pass holder tickets?
Usually just with the preferred and premier! Right now, through the end of September the power pass does get EPA for Passholder Appreciation Days, though!
What would you say is the typical wait times for these restaurants?
It really depends what time of day you go and how busy the parks are! They can range from no line at all to 30+ minute waits on any given day!
Is it possible to just get a plain crepe without the fillings?
That’s a great question! They’re made to order, so we don’t see why not, but they’ll probably charge you the same as a filled crepe since that’s not an official menu item.
