I disagree. Were you shy towards strangers at that age? I was. Even if I've been around them long before they started talking to me. Even when anyone in my family was around, I'd feel very awkward when others came up to talk to me. Even if they spoke to me as if I was a lot older, I'd still feel awkward to speak long sentences.

During the 90s when we were being taught to look after or speak to young children we were asked to get down to their level and sit next to them. It was considered rude to sit high up from a child because it it was thought the child might think they weren't being heard. I literally grew up on Regis and Kathy Lee the interviewers and they were very popular at the time.
They looked so uncomfortable. You could tell by how they looked and answered their questions. I already know that they’re capable of having a normal conversation because they did all this acting when they were younger. These people are talking too to them like babies. I don’t agree that the problem was entirely with the presenters. Even when asked normal questions the girls have short answers. It’s kind of impossible to conduct a proper interview when the twins hardly say a word. That’s not to say I blame the kids. It’s just the way they were.
