    I watched this video when I was little when my grandma would visit, I’m here again bc she passed away 2 weeks ago and I’m crying and I came here for memories. I watched it bc I liked when it popped open and I loved dandelions. 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

    What a beautiful way to save a mother's first flower from her child (and grandchild). I have a love of the little flowers gone wrong because of just that. A dandelion is a symbol to me of the love of a child and so I incorporate them into a lot of my artwork. Thank you so much for sharing.

    If people want to, you can create your own mold using 100% household silicon and putting it on bath with dish soap, then you use whatever object you want a mold of.
    I personally would reccomend a light bulb for a perfectly smooth spherical shape if you don't have one like it.

    ... I haven't seen such a vending machine in about 30 years ...
    But very beautiful that preserved dandelion. Amazing what they can withstand!! Although, I d have loved to see the finishing process instead of how you struggle with opening that container ...

    Why was the finished paperweight so dark, that you could barely see the dandelion inside of it? The paperweight, that you showed as the video was ending, was bright and white. The one, that was shown being made, just looked dark and dirty.

      +Florisvaldo Francisco Freiberger Se refere a resina? Olha, recentemente comecei a experimentar com elas em outras coisas (peças de bonecas), achei o vendedor Redelease no Mercado Livre (eles tem site também). Atendimento 100% e vários tipos de resina. Acho que a mais barata, de poliéster, dá pra este tutorial, mas ela esquenta a 160 graus quando curando. A que eu uso (Epóxy) é beeem mais salgadinha mas tem durabilidade melhor e não esquenta quando cura (a menos que reaja com algum material em volta. Sem querer deixei um pouco em um copo plástico por um tempo, chegou a derreter o plástico). No momento as resinas estão um pouco mais carinhas pelo preço do dólar mas eu guardaria essa loja, não troco!

    Strange how your dandelion opened up after you picked it and it was dying.

    • @PhilJonesIII
      @PhilJonesIII 6 років тому +3

      They do that. I do a lot of time lapse photography and its the only way to catch the thing opening. In the wild, the stem moves all over the place from natural movement or the wind.

    • @DarrenGerbrandt
      @DarrenGerbrandt 6 років тому +6

      Seriously? How is this strange, what weird world do you live in? This is exactly what dandelions do when you pick one like that or weedwack/cut the lawn. They very rapidly open up after the stem is cut so the seed can spread.

    • @stupidhandles
      @stupidhandles 6 років тому +3

      TheFuzzyPenguin have you never bought cut flowers? Did they open?
