It would be awesome that you make a series to show as much as chapters scheme you can paint with your paint kits as possible. It would be an awesome demonstration and ads for you and a huge inspiration for us.
I actually prefer to paint my blood Angels to be more of a comic style than NNM, so my Dark Shadows are Evil Red, then my bright shadows are Gory Red, then the highlights and lit surfaces are Scarlet Blood, but I also glaze between so my blends are smoother As a Blood Angels player, I would love to see how you guys handle painting, Death Company and Sanguinary Priest/Apothecary Models
Can you do a tutorial on how to paint the Void Trident chapter, not many tutorials out there for this? Love the vid will be using this colour scheme for my BA :D
Great video! Just wondering if you'd still recommend using contrast paints on marines - as in the tutorials Emil did a few years back - or not any more?
Which paints would you use to paint blood angels, though? Those are flesh tearers that you painted. They look amazing, but they’re a lot darker than Blood Angels.
It's way too desaturated and gloomy, guys. It's like it's been taken from a modern pc game where the environmental lighting is turned up to max and so your character is in perpetual shadow. We want to be able to see our miniature!
Different strokes. I’m not a huge fan of the hyper bright Blood Angels, so I always paint mine a darker red, and add more contrast to their imperials, trim, relics, etc. This is a nice rich dark scheme and would really make gold or other bright accents pop.
Got to say - I know these recent squidly vids are ads for your new paints - but I really love them. Keep them coming!

I second this, would be a great video!
Very dramatic red! Love it I wanna do this with my dark angels with black and green
Can't speak for everyone but I'd prefer if it stayed zoomed in. The zoomed out shots don't really add much, especially from a tutorial perspective.
good feedback !
I really prefere these kind of vids to the main channel but im happy with any kind of new vid tbh
Awesome video Lukas. Would love to see you do a Black scheme like Death Company, Black Legion etc
I second this, perfect place to plug in the new paints (wink wink)
Cool more tutorials, keep them coming. Can you do the black next?
Started collecting blood angels and soul blight gravelords so this is some good timing on your end ❤
clever to keep so much of the rest of the model black or dark to make the red look even more radiant :)
perfect tutorial!!
But i need black armour and Scarlet Blood, ice yellow Mixing ratio 😢
please next video
Do Dark Angels next! I'mcurious to see which colors you use for both the Inner circle companions and Deathwing terminators!
it's coming, but its a few weeks out. There are other videos ahead in the schedule!
Amazing tutorial ❤

This video hits the spot. Hell yeah guys!
Awesome. More of the same please Lucas! 👍
Looks dope!
How did u do the black shoulder, etc
That's how I paint my Flesh Tearers and although they don't look as good, I'm very happy with the result.
I like this. Please make one for Black Templars please 🙏
I'm not sure where this Swedish Angel Giraldez format came from but I'm here for it
I ´d love to see a violett tutorial using your new paintset, e.g. Horus Heresy Emperor´s Children 🙌🚀

would it work just as fine from a model based with white instead of black?
Just a heads up that you actually have to buy ALL THREE of their paint sets to get all these colors, NOT just the one shown.
Fantastic
Finally another good Fleshtearers tutorial
Dope music amazing paint!
love this in the background of painting and just running the skills! Way to broaden your platform!
what are the paint colors in citadel colors (my store doesnt have those paints)
Acid Jaaaaaaazz.
Nice.
i've been painting blood angels since 1989. Blood angels till i die
Did I miss the paint dilution for each red step?
He gave a mix ratio for the basecoat and the final highlight. Everything else he said was pure [color].

Hey Mark, if it looks good and is easy to do - why the heck not! :)
@@squidlybits1985 cool 😃 I'll keep my contrast paints then 😂 thanks for the reply!
Where is this plant set available?
The link in the pinned comment/video descrption
Might not be a popular opinion but I think OSL painted minis are suited better for display art piece rather than a full army on the table.
Lukas - guide for the thumbnail base with your new colour set please!! 😊
Hey man, we did the green base in last weeks video, the main difference is the placement of the highlights!
@@squidlybits1985 doh! Legend, cheers mate
Where’s the link for the paint? I couldn’t find it in the link
The top link in description is a wait lidt. Campaign for the paints will go live any day now
Awesome and thanks 😎👌
THIS!!! This is the kind of painting content ive been looking for! Thank you and keep it up!
Lukas is the real hot orange
youtube.com/@squidlybits1985 How did you paint the black and silver ?
This is golden age of warhammer. Im afraid they will raise prices for minis just on a wave of hype...
One for yellow please
To little ware and tare , make it more grim. It looks so clean 😢
why do people think the flesh tearers and Blood angels are the same? i guess the imperal fist and back templar are the exact same too.
And shadows
👍
Nice work tho... The black

Just use more of the midtone color on a larger surface
Flesh tearers? Bru stick ur orange into ur squidmar paintbox and return it to vallejo if u wanna bloodangels, or just dont tell me how to do mine :) ❤
That is orange
Blood Angels: Paints a Flesh Tearer.
HELP! I lost my interest for the hobby 😭😭😭
Gotta be one of the worst guides lol can’t see anything at all
First?

Nah, grim dark futuristic universe is not for cartoony bright miniatures
