I'm starting my wedding photography portfolio! and I've been studying ReEM REEM REEM!! my question is how do you start a wedding portfolio when you don't have a portfolio but you do have a photography portfolio. It's been hard for me to get into wedding photography when I have all the equipment I need and I have a dope portraying photography portfolio.

I second shoot and still do. I love it. It has built my confidence to be in the midst of a lot of beautiful chaos of a wedding day. Learnt a lot from second shooting.
Pro tip: Second Shooter, if you're going for that quick snack or water, make sure to get one for the main shooter

I advise against second shooters requesting to post, it puts the main shooter in a difficult position. he might not know how to say no but won't feel too good about it. Juts take your mind off those jobs when you second shoot. It is an unwritten rule. Great video BTW.

How important for the second shooter to use the same Camara brand as the primary. If shooting Canon the second shooter should be doing the same so color matching the RAWS would be less of a hassle.Or does even matter?

As a second shooter you have to learn what the main shooter wants and is looking for.. as a second shooter don’t be afraid to ask the main shooter questions.. but as a main shooter communicate with your second shooter
