Good to watch someone equally as amazing at golf as my self :D. I like to use the excuse that it's a nice stroll threw some woods ..... only problem is sometimes I forget the woods isn't where the ball is ment to be.
I always look forward to your videos. Very relatable golf. Looks like one of my rounds except I have twice as many duffs! Looking forward to the next vid. 👍
Love watching these. As a high handicapper/just started golfer it’s refreshing to see someone else in the same boat working to get better 😅. Do you have a video talking about your practice regimen?
Glad u liked it. 🙏. I definitely don't have a regimen tho. Lol. Prolly should. I just get out anytime that I can. Married, 2 kids, full time job. I take whatever I can get. The big benefit to these videos is that I get an honest look at my golf game. So wherever I was lacking in my last game, is what I work on next game/range session. This year's biggest things were tee shots and short game. Barely go O.B. anymore. And make a lot more safe shots around the green. No video to talk about it. Maybe next year I'll try and put together a better structured game. ✌️
Nice love it. I agree it’s off the tee, taking the medicine shots and then being able to get up and down or up and two. Even focusing on long puts (10ft to 40ft) has made a huge diff bc I’m not going to put it next to the pin from 150. Oh and rescue shots too (hybrid/4/5).
After this video, I've been planning all my filming for the afternoons. Can't intentionally make this game harder for myself. And ya, that last drive surprised the crap outta me when I got up to it. Thanks boys. ✌️
2 things I noticed in your play. Putting on a dew green is a whole different creature. Enough said. However - Hitting a ball out of a dew rough almost always creates a fade. There are 3 ways to compensate for deep wet grass. 1- Take a more steep angle down at the ball not allowing the grass to grab your club. 2 - Simply aim a few degrees left ( right hander ) to compensate. 3 - Death grip your club to prevent the face from yanking open in the grass.
@@MGGolf Yeah - but for example - I have a friend who always likes to play first thing in the morning. The grass is always wet. I like afternoons better personally for several reasons. Added - it only needs to sprinkle for a few minutes and you're playing in heavy wet grass.
I played 9 holes today and I'm a similar skill level to you. My short game might be slightly better, but your long game is betterthan mine. I shot a 52 which isn't good, but is better than my last round so not terrible.
Thought I was going to get my first hole in one on 14 Labor Day weekend. Picture perfect shot. Ended up about 3 feet short and of course I missed the putt....😳😱🤣. Played 18, could not figure out my irons till the last few holes. Was a rough one. It is a great course.
That's how it always goes. If it was for bogey woulda made it lol. But 14 definitely has a lot of ace potential. Great course overall. Always in good condition. Appreciate the view and the comment. ✌️
You’re getting the ball off the ground so that’s good. Try taking a little off your back swing to help with keeping the ball straight. You’re doing fine keep it up!
Thanks so much. This was one of those weird rounds where the swing just never felt quite right. Usually will fly pretty straight. Taking a little off the back swing is definitely a good idea tho when it's acting up. Thanks again! ✌️
You could literally half your handicap with a bit more time on the putting greens. Watch a video on putting tempo too which will give you a nice consistency to your putts. You have solid irons and chipping and driving isnt bad either- definitely not reflective of 25 handicap. Its really the putting thats hurting your scores!
Love the format of these vids. Really easy to follow and interactive with the editing/overlays
Thanks so much. I'm glad you enjoyed it. I've been trying to make every video better than my last. ✌️

Detours can happen. Lol. Glad I'm in good company with a fellow player. ✌️

That means alot Dean. I'm glad you're enjoying the videos. Catch you in the next one. 🙏🙏
This is good stuff
Thanks so much. ✌️

This is my kind of round. Actually have a Nov day in the 60's so, I might as well go get a round in.
Go get it! No snow in here Connecticut yet. I'll be out there too ✌️
I love getting out for early morning golf, but the dew makes reading putts almost impossible. You spanked the final tee shot btw!

Thanks for the input as always. Good stuff to keep in mind. One more way to compensate for dewy conditions... Play in the afternoon

You're very welcome ✌️
Your 7 iron is money! Looks like we both had a tough time putting this weekend!
Lol. Thanks Frank. Let's clean it up next weekend! ✌️

Nice dude. Progress is progress. Next round will be break 50/100! ✌️

Keep grinding
💪💪💪
Nice one dude! Couple changes to the swing and youd cut that handicap in half. Keep it up!
Thanks so much 🙏🙏✌️

Thanks for the advice, and thanks for checking out my video.I definitely need to step up the putting practice ✌️
Looks like you're getting better at ball striking. Could use some work with the putter. Great content as always!
Thanks Taj. Lessons are paying off with the irons. Gotta put some more work in with the short game. ✌️
Shades
Entered. Thank you and good luck. ✌️
270yds drive as 25 hcpr? Sounds like science fiction to me ?
Ha. I can also manage a 100yd drive sometimes...
About as good as I am
💪💪💪
you'll be a 16 shortly short game will get you there :)
Amazing how many strokes can get lost with a putter and a wedge. 16 sounds pretty nice. ✌️
