The yfz has been less maintenance than my 400. You have to remember my 400 was heavily built not as reliable as stock. Changing the oil more often, going through other things often too. This yfz is nothing but amazing for now. Waiting for the snow to melt to truly put it to the test
To be honest if you ride trails im a bit too low. For track it’s fine but trails or fields im a bit too low. Go with like +1 if of course you dont do tracks.

I believe every single quad is reliable if you put time and attention to them and don’t lazy out on stuff.
what a arms and axel ru running?
Lonestart plus 2 or 3 up front(cant remember) and Lonestar extended axle. Lonestar is the goat.

Nope some guys start in 3rd in mx starts no damage whatsoever just skips the shorter gears
