    thanks for your sharing. great video. however, i have a question on the filter. why you use RC instead of C only?

      You are welcome, and thank you for watching. R is connected in parallel with the capacitor as a damping resistor to reduce the oscillations. If your waveform is OK, there is no need to add it.

    can you show the modulation signals of your model??? It is not sinusoidal coming

      Hello, you can build your own SPWM by following this link, ua-cam.com/video/rrcEzz-FxHU/v-deo.htmlsi=IDutoIJNYrvPdaXN and you will easily see the modulating (sinusoidal) and the carrier signal (triangular). There are also some other videos on the channel with PWM built by ourselves instead of using the one from the Simulink library.

    I have a question for the value of the gain, why did you select 2*pi*50*(9.94e-6)? (9.94e-6) and (10.2e-3)

      Hello. The voltage loop gain value is 2pi*f*C, where f is the frequency, and C is the filter capacitance value. For the current control loop, the gain value is 2pi*fL, where L=L1+L2

      The PI was designed by the gain tuning method where you start with a small value of Kp and increase gradually until you reach neutral stability. For the filter filter design, the video will be shared soon.

      The parameters are the same as the grid-connected, but the voltage and current controllers are different.

    Why did you use a constant value of 9.94e-6 and 10.2e-3 in the voltage and current control loops?

      Hallo, thank you for watching. 9.94e-6 is the capacitor value while 10.2e-3 is the value of L which is grid side inductor plus inverter side inductor.

    hello, i wanted to know how did you determine the output voltage for the inverter, as well why did you choose 10k HZ , and what are the books that or reading matrail that can help design an inverter for a solar array system conncted to the grid.

      The switching frequency depends on your application and the type of switches, switching losses and many more. Output voltage equally depends on the application. For the solar array system please check on Google scholar there are a lot of very helpful materials from different researchers especially for grid connected inverters.

      Hello, the output of the PI controller is the Id and Iq references, which are summed with the measured currents from the grid side.

    The video looks very interesting. If i make the system grid connected, what changes need to be made in the Simulink model? For instance, the LCL filter would remain same?

      Hi, it is actually an islanded microgrid, however No special control strategy is used but you can implement your own control strategy such as droop.....

    How do we calculate the parameter of (Ki, KP, Gain)?

      Hallo. Firstly set the value of the desired output eg 20A in our case. Then choose a small value of Kp and set Ki to zero. Kp increasing the value of Kp until you reach neutral stability. Thank you for the support.
