Taking into account how nervous the kid must have been, and his unfamiliarity with the kit he did a killer fucking job. Even more respect for those guys now!
What is outstanding about A7X, Is the fact he went much slower than tempo, and it fluctuated, but they adjusted with him. What an amazing band. props to the kid though, pretty amazing.
Love them or hate them, A7X is fucking awesome for giving their fans opportunities to play their favorite songs during shows. That kid will remember this night forever.
First time I ever saw them live was in san francisco when city of evil was maybe 1 month old. We waited outside to try and see if we could meet or get an autograph (this was before every phone had a professional camera in it) and Matt Shadows came out and met and talked with all the fans outside til 2 am and they were literally driving all night to get to their show the next day.
Arin has plenty of talent, but i think they shouldve done something a little different with Hail to the King. a little faster paced drums, more bass, things like how Not Ready to Die and Carry On were. if only Arin stuck with that style. still a good album though
Sherry Therman It wasn't exactly Arin's decision. He was following what the rest of the guys wanted. I would assume he had a say, but it was what Avenged wanted.
Every time I watch this video it brings tears to my eyes. Just the visual of that boy rocking it out with his favourite band in front of a packed audience, living his dream even if it's just for a few minutes. A7X have my eternal respect for doing stuff like this.
Just what i was thinking, they've flawlessly adjusted to his sloppy tempo and off timing to make it sound like it was on purpose, it's like they have a sixth sense about it..... incredible talent
ADyingLight Exactly man, even though I'd kind of hate for Second Heartbeat to be ruined by a fan, it definitely shows how practiced they are, they are just that skilled
***** Well no doubt thats a big moment for a humble fan, couldnt say I'd do better, however, I was just trying to make the point that when you compare an amateur to pros there's a understanding difference that kinda gives you a little more appreciation for the band.
I'm not much of an A7X fan, but that kid's dreams came true that night. That was amazing. Big props to the bend for allowing him to have such an awesome experience.
That kid is a legend, because not only was he lucky enough to get picked, but he played that song amazingly, especially considering the pressure he mustve felt.
A7x is an awesome band some bands will charge you an extra $200 just to go back stage with them and get a shitty autograph. They just let him play a song with them. That was probably on the dudes bucket list that he thought would probably never happen
Dude CRUSHED IT. As musicians, we all have that dream of hopping up on stage with our favorite artist, because we've played that song 300 times in our basement. That was a major bucket list item for that dude. Well done.
I'm surprised this dude didn't faint from pure bliss. Playing with Avenge Seven Fold in concert. This man with never forget this night for as long as he lives. Hell! He may even go on to be in a band of his own! God speed!
This song is one of the most melancholic, yet it's one of the most powerful songs of avenged sevenfold. I've been practising the song like hell and yet still haven't perfected it
Being a drummer, that is pretty awesome. As many of you said, it isn't easy to be plucked out of the crowd, not warmed up, no practice, no ear piece, unfamiliar set, so I think he did a great job. I just wish they had professional video of it. Green Day does the same exact thing, I always thought that was really cool. I would certainly be nervous, and I've been playing for almost two decades.
My heart's going crazy just thinking about being able to play on stage with them. This guy is so lucky! :D He's also really good, that was an impressive run!
This is pretty incredible. Not that the kid can play the drums to their songs, but the fact that he got the opportunity to do so. M. Shadows is awesome.
Smiling from ear to ear because Miguel is one sick son of a bitch on the drums. As a drummer it was so satisfying to hear him nail so many parts. And that’s not an easy song. Especially with that pressure. Well done. An absolute beast!
I'm really not a fan of A7X, I'm more a fan of metal (and don't tell me they are, they've played metalcore and now they're more of a rock band) but this was a really, really cool thing for them to do.
THey are metal. They are certainly not the hardest of metal, but still metal. Metal is a broad term, with many sub genres, but is mostly characterized by ridiculously long solos (like Metallica trash) and thick riffs, as well as strong drum beats. Avenged Sevenfold may not be the hardest, but you cannot say they don't have these things, at least to a degree too much for rock.
Chris Hall Like I said, they aren't metal. Their first few albums were metalcore, and then they switched to a hard rock sound. Do your research before trying to argue with me. I'm not trying to debate genres, I'm trying to say that it was a good move on their part.
My dream its that they let me play the guitar of any song in concert next time they come here, i would love to play the beast and the harlot with zack and syn
holy shit that was an epic and mind blowing thing to do,to let a fan play the drums ,and this kid fucking nailed it ,great job and props to the kid playin the drums, you my friend are a beast
I've dreamed of doing this LOL I've learned a ton of songs on the drums and it's a weird dream to have but I've dreamed of this happening to me at a Killswitch engage or tool concert cuz they're 2 of my favorites and the ones I know best on drums
first time i saw this it inspired me and i thought to myself if this kid can play a full a7x song on the drums infront of a live crowd woth about 500 + then anyone can whatever they put their minds to
That kid lived the dream...
Holy shit.
scott Winter ikr
Ikr
I just did 667. You're welcome
Imagine the next Monday at school. "So what'd you do this weekend?"
Well, I played drums for A7X and drowned in pussy :)
Garret Kish Imagine he's being like "Nothing special" - playing the shy Guy :D
EMG Oracle And another 1.8 million from UA-cam
Well I just went live with avenged and piss my pants
I can only imagine haha.
Taking into account how nervous the kid must have been, and his unfamiliarity with the kit he did a killer fucking job. Even more respect for those guys now!
This is Miguel, the most humble guy I met while I was in college back in my days in PR. I am proud to still call him a friend today
Miguel que? Creo que lo tengo en Instagram pero no me acuerdo bien.
I know right? Was my good friend before
84
This realy shows how profesional they are as musicians. They fully adapted to the drumming, even when he didnt keep tempo.
he kept it up pretty well tho, id be too shaky from nerves to play that song as well as i can at home in my garage haha
that kid did super well for being thrown in the deep end like that for sure
He might have kept tempo if he had the proper audio equipment lol.
He's also playing on a new drum setup, so obviously it's gonna be different.
Fake Account oh fuck yeah i would have missed cymbals and shit, hell... i do that on my own fucking kit
What is outstanding about A7X, Is the fact he went much slower than tempo, and it fluctuated, but they adjusted with him. What an amazing band. props to the kid though, pretty amazing.
"I'll ask you one more FUCKING time. WERE YOU RUSHING OR DRAGGING?!?!????" -M Shadows
Jack Bryan "Rushing" "SO YOU DO KNOW THE DIFFERENCE!"
Jack Bryan just saw this comment and couldn't hold in my laughter. Solid reference.
Sadly there isn't a convenient chair on stage to throw at him
LMAO
Love them or hate them, A7X is fucking awesome for giving their fans opportunities to play their favorite songs during shows. That kid will remember this night forever.
this type of comment i love
First time I ever saw them live was in san francisco when city of evil was maybe 1 month old. We waited outside to try and see if we could meet or get an autograph (this was before every phone had a professional camera in it) and Matt Shadows came out and met and talked with all the fans outside til 2 am and they were literally driving all night to get to their show the next day.
this is why this band is amazing
I know they do
Fan of them too
yep. not because of the music, thats for sure
This kid doesn't even need an audition to enter a band anymore.
@ Manny Pascual His resume is now stacked!
This is every music fans dream man, fuck!
Glad he fucking killed it too
+peaner083 yeah it would not be so amusing if he could not play after all so fucking cool to see a kid rocking with the band on stage tho'!
Edvin Taivainen really tho
Miguel did amazing, so happy for him!! No in-ears either, you can tell he knows that song very well :)
"Arin, you've been dethrone." Haha who would've known he would be a few years later.
Eunjung's #1 fan sad but true
thats metallica not A7X
well Arin wasn't the most talented. he has impressive techniques, but he lacks creativity.
Black Dynamite thank God, his drumming was shit.
Everyone saw it coming arins drumming was basic compared to the rev
Things like this gives me goosebumps.
me too but why? HAHA
Who the hell knows? xD
Trevyn Thomas because its being human
same here, chills for sure. \m/ O \m/
For reals
This is why A7X is one of the best live bands in history.
tony espinoza slayer? lol
@@siemprecansado8418 no
Along with Slipknot
Metallica?
kid fucking killed it. period nuff said
Avenged is so unique. I fucking love it! Hail to the king was an amazing tribute album no matter what people say! Arin's drums were so heavy!
Look at this right here. I feel like the entire world could be united with music.
Not just any music, with heavy metal music!! \m/
Every time I watch this video it brings tears to my eyes. Just the visual of that boy rocking it out with his favourite band in front of a packed audience, living his dream even if it's just for a few minutes. A7X have my eternal respect for doing stuff like this.
Holy shit he totally killed it.
My heart would definitely plunge out of my god damn ass towards the crowd . This is some INSANE SHIT !

Justin Bieber is a cock gobbling useless waste of human skin tissue .
If only paramore fans were this talented
WOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWW BURNED
LMAO
MY NIGGA THEY JUST GOT ROASTED
You can really see how professional Avenged Sevenfold is when they're playing with someone unprofessional lol
ADyingLight I didn't think he did that bad, then again ive never heard the original song
TSFLYER4 For the most part, the actual beat was correct but his timing was shaky at times
***** Well no doubt thats a big moment for a humble fan, couldnt say I'd do better, however, I was just trying to make the point that when you compare an amateur to pros there's a understanding difference that kinda gives you a little more appreciation for the band.
OMG that must be so amazing! going to a concert of like ur favorite band n being able to play along side with them
The Rev would be proud. foREVer
Iridium778 that is said on the cover of jimmys tribute album nightmare.FoREVer
I am
I'm not much of an A7X fan, but that kid's dreams came true that night. That was amazing. Big props to the bend for allowing him to have such an awesome experience.
this is one of the main reasons these guys are my favorite band.
That kid fucking nailed it, damn
That kid is a legend, because not only was he lucky enough to get picked, but he played that song amazingly, especially considering the pressure he mustve felt.
lol imagine them calling you on stage n u cant play shit hahaha
ha ha ha good one :))
ha ha ha good one :))
Hahaha

i would rock the hell out of them with my Triangle skills
A7x is an awesome band some bands will charge you an extra $200 just to go back stage with them and get a shitty autograph. They just let him play a song with them. That was probably on the dudes bucket list that he thought would probably never happen
that's why i love this band😍
They are very loyal to their fans and never let them down! I love their music and their attitudes.
Absolutely warms my heart to see my favorite band truly giving back to their fans.
Wow! I cant believe how well he did! He is amazing!
A7X are such genuine blokes.
Musicians nowadays in this genre are so humble.
This guy lived every unknown musicians dream, and he did justice.
I'd be so nervous and screw up everything
omfg this guy CRUSHED it
Dragging and rushing the band always stays with the drummer. Lol such a great job
5:43 I'd start fucking crying if that many people were shouting my name :')
This is why they are one of my favorite bands. So much fun for this guy.
Dude CRUSHED IT. As musicians, we all have that dream of hopping up on stage with our favorite artist, because we've played that song 300 times in our basement. That was a major bucket list item for that dude. Well done.
Gives me chills when this kid tears into it
rock will never die!!!
Well technically this was a metalcore somg
holy shit who cares
I loved A7X before this but this gave me so much more respect for them
I love how he just got to pick the song too, and they were completely ready to play it too even though it’s not usually played live anymore
You couldn't even imagine the feeling that must be going through him. Truly a once in a life time opportunity.
It's why A7X fans are so dedicated. The whole band is just as dedicated to their fans.
YEAH! That kid is awesome! He killed it!
"Arin, you're dethroned" XD
sad kid correcting everyone's comments that said dethroned.
I am gay best part is, "dethroned" is actually correct XD
Yep.
Deathbathroned*
I'm surprised this dude didn't faint from pure bliss. Playing with Avenge Seven Fold in concert. This man with never forget this night for as long as he lives. Hell! He may even go on to be in a band of his own! God speed!
Love that the whole band slowed down for him. really sweet
Some parts were wonky, but for the first time LIVE on stage without any practice whatsoever?? Fucking In-credible!
how fucking cool is THAT!?
We have this kid at the drum, other kid that play guitar unholly confession and Matteo at vocal,
This song is one of the most melancholic, yet it's one of the most powerful songs of avenged sevenfold. I've been practising the song like hell and yet still haven't perfected it

U make Jimmy proud Miguel...
forREVer
How can 92 people not like this one bit. This is just awesome.
Omg that was fucking sick. Super awesome how the band worked with him really smoothly. He did awesomeeee too!
MIGUEL YOU FUCKIN ROCK
miguel: and that was the best day of my life(20 years later)
kid:what about when i was born?
miguel: NOT EVEN CLOSE!
If M.Shadows asked me what song i wanted to play, i would've said a little piece of heaven, or critical acclaim.
critical acclaim as well
Aquanox 19 I would’ve said shepherd of fire, hail to the king, bat country, or this means war on guitar
I would have said Unholy Confessions, first song of theirs I learnt and know by heart
I think they might of been played by that point if i remember correctly
I would say this means war, hail to the King, and nightmare.
and this children, is why we learn to play instruments. So one day we may get called upon the stage to jam with your favourite band.
This is pretty incredible. Not that the kid can play the drums to their songs, but the fact that he got the opportunity to do so. M. Shadows is awesome.
4:15 everyone watching him lol
That... Was fucking awesome...
He actually did a good job
It is amazing how the slowed the tempo. Fucking amazing...
Smiling from ear to ear because Miguel is one sick son of a bitch on the drums.
As a drummer it was so satisfying to hear him nail so many parts. And that’s not an easy song. Especially with that pressure. Well done. An absolute beast!

thank god. I hate talking with peoplet hat dont understand what metal is
They're more of a classic metal feel sorta like Metallica but who's to say what they are I mean every album is very different from one another
THey are metal. They are certainly not the hardest of metal, but still metal. I know what the genres are, I just tire of people saying they are not metal.
My dream its that they let me play the guitar of any song in concert next time they come here, i would love to play the beast and the harlot with zack and syn
you'd fail hard at it tho.
maybe i will , maybe not , but be on stage with them is enough for me, so theres no fail
VoidOfEnigmas you're an asswipe
SuperPIGGIES123 tell me something I dont know
VoidOfEnigmas pull your head in
You get up there and play in front of 10,000 people. He played it perfectly for no warm up, or practice ahead of time.
holy shit that was an epic and mind blowing thing to do,to let a fan play the drums ,and this kid fucking nailed it ,great job and props to the kid playin the drums, you my friend are a beast
Not even a fan of Avenged Sevenfold but that's seriously the coolest thing a band could do

fuck yeah dude thats my favorite a7x song
I would have gone for nightmare..
The stage.. 😍♥️
Bullshit lol that is a technical nightmare for the drum solo
This band is fucking awesome! What metal band lets you play their instruments on stage during concert?! This is fucking awesome!
Skaterloo Gaming surprisingly a lot of them lmao
Skaterloo Gaming Yeah Steel Panther let a twelve year old play Gloryhole on the guitar, lmao
Massive cool! A7X truly appreciates their fans and gives many of them experiences that they could only dream of.
There is so many talents out there that never gets to shine!
Good on ya Miguel!! \m/
Must Have Been An Honor To Play On The REV's Drum :'(
It was on Arin's drums
Oooh :/ dang still tho
He played in the revs place though :)
I've dreamed of doing this LOL I've learned a ton of songs on the drums and it's a weird dream to have but I've dreamed of this happening to me at a Killswitch engage or tool concert cuz they're 2 of my favorites and the ones I know best on drums
first time i saw this it inspired me and i thought to myself if this kid can play a full a7x song on the drums infront of a live crowd woth about 500 + then anyone can whatever they put their minds to
that's so cool that they let him do that:)
I honestly did not expect it to be that good! He fucking rocks.
Is everyone going to igmore the fact that m shadows is actually screaming? Lol
