“As the legends enjoyers know the best clone is Alpha 17” Meanwhile, Captain Fordo is holding off Separatist assaults solo in the streets of Coruscant.
ARC Alpha-77 and ARC Alpha-17, are both my fav ARC Troopers, they are the best of what ARC Troopers from the Alpha Batch we see on the Comics/Series and Books.
Although it's never confirmed, I wonder if Alpha was one of the Muunilinst 10's ARC Lieutenants from the 2003 series given the several times he worked alongside Kenobi in the Republic comics.
Physically speaking maybe as all clones had similar builds but where I believe he is "better" in a manner of speaking then those he trained. Is that 17 was quite literally a diffrent breed all together he simply thought and reacted too things like how he was trained... which is what we know and live a cold hearted mfer who'd do anything it took to complete his mission
I rhought that one was a bit amusing, after so many saying "colder," and we get a video saying "as cold." Sudden changes in pattern can often make things more entertaining.
Hardass survived Ventress's torture right alongside Kenobi. It's not hard to imagine why they respected each other, they could match each other blow for blow in snarky quips.
Some of the ARC troopers were based as hell, yeah. There was like a 50/50 split with the ARCs in Legends. They were either hyper loyal to the Republic, and pushed their elite training to the absolute limit like Alpha-17, or they used their greater levels of Independence to educate themselves, and learn to be genuine heroes like Fordo or that one guy who defied Order 66 and became a political extremist against the Empire.
Can you go over the story of Alpha-17? I feel like you hear about him the most when bringing up the Clone Wars in Legends but learn the least. I don’t even know his ultimate fate, but I do know his story didn’t end at Shelter Base. Obi-Wan was presumed dead at the Battle of Jabiim, too.
You see, this is the redeemable fact about clone troopers. No matter whether they are loyal to the Jedi or see the Empire as the government to serve, the one constant between them is brotherhood or in another way, loyalty. Cut Lawquane, Slick, Crosshair, and Torrent are in two different camps. The first two are either a deserter or a traitor. The last two are Imperial clone troopers. And yet they treat soldiers around them with respect. Cut misses his old squad and sees his care for his family as a continuation of that loyalty. Slick was a traitor who got clone troopers killed, but he was misguided and thought he was helping his brothers. Crosshair acts cold to everyone and even kills members of his Imperial Elite Squad, but still holds out hope for his old team of brothers even after they were forced to leave him behind thanks to his inhibitor chip. And Torrent may be a clone helping an Imperial Officer hunt down Han Solo and Chewbacca in the aftermath of the Battle of Yavin 4, but he still treats his fellow stormtroopers well.
Very interesting! Maybe a "Tactical Breakdown: Admiral Ackbar (More than it's a trap)" Or a "Tactical Breakdown: General Veers?" (One of the most competent Imperials other than Thrawn and Vader)
Tarkin was far from competent dude was literally only a grand admiral because he was a royal ass licker and was easy too be put under sith influences. Plus he is only good for stealing other peoples inventions and then losing them in the most dramatic way possible, still believe if that idiot wasn't alive the Empire would of won so quickly the rebellion would of never existed even if ObiWan started one on the day he fled the jedi order.
