So much fun! My squidahlia can be either a plant, when growing in the sea, or an animal, if found in rivers or lakes. The fruit of the plant is salty and gives the power of breathing under the sea. The animal, on the contrary, is not so friendly… it has to defend itself by squeezing enemies with its tentacles
i loves the way you describes this organic plant, hope to see it personally one day in future. seems like plants drawn in this project are mostly bloom at night and found only in May 😁
Your blossom reminds me of a gnome, with a helmet on his head and crazy hair and beard all growing together. His eyes are barely visible beneath his hair! Love the video! I have enjoyed the whole series so far.
mmmm...squidlings release vanilla honey fragrance as they dance, most often during summer solstice, & bloom bursts like a dandelion, finding hosts to hang from like Spanish moss surrounding secret ponds...
Love this series & all the hard work & dedication you all put into these project packs. I decided my squid "flower" grows in the water! I named it Sea Squid. haha
Without the Shattuck stem, it could be a Eucalyptus flower. May Gibbs was an Australian children’s author and illustrator who captured Australian gum flowers in her gum nut baby series. These pieces are just exquisite.
The drawings have been wonderful for this project. The sound levels were not good. The artist (Molly/) talked at a regular level when she was teaching, but dropped her voice for some remarks. The laughter is good, but sound level bad. The person in the background needs to be miked if you want her comments to be heard.
I just love listening to her soothing beautiful voice second time through
That is the most Exquisite flower I have ever seen! Even more exotic than Day 1 and Day 2.
This one is gorgeous! These beautiful organic tangles should be in a book of magical botanical species!
The ideas for this project pack are absolutely brilliant!
I watched the first lesson and was instantly captured, my kit is on the way 🌻🌻🌻
I called mine the frilly lily 😊
This is such a creative pack!

It reminds me of an ear of corn and the corn silks. It’s really pretty.

Stunning!

It’s beautiful.
Are you pulling these flowers out of thin air or do you have some reference to follow?
I think there's a certain eucalyptus acorn that looks similar, minus the stem. Regardless, this is beautiful!
Roly poly as string
