I totally agree. Matt Healy is the only on who can sing this song perfectly. This song just sounds odd with her singing it. THE 1975 chocolate original is 1000x better. I mean she has a good voice but this song isn't for her, she is trying WAY to hard to be good. I mean she like ecks before every word.

The 1975 songs are pretty hard to cover because they are so unique in their own way.
Definitely. With this particular song, I tend to prefer female vocals to male, just because they really complement the song. Nina Nebbit's cover is beautiful, as well as this one. Mostly a personal preference. I love their interpretation of the song; they always seem to give their covers a unique spin.

But instruments sound just fantastic, and she's put her own spin on the song with that gorgeous voice of hers. People don't make covers because they want to outdo the original. They make 'em because the song struck a chord with them and they want to join in the fun. I love ATC and I'm stoked they gave us their version.

I agree,turn up the volume on Chrissy's voice, to make sure it dominates the video. Then reduce the number of video shots of drums and guitar, instead focus on the vocals. Finally, ensure your keyboard is covered in jizz for full effect.

Mate pentetonix is a accapella group. She has a band to cover up some flaws if she her voice gets tired or they can jam a bit if her voice gets tired. But pentatonix has to sing all the time even if they dont they are still doing background stuff. Im not saying she is worse but you are comparing 2 differend things if you ask me.
I absolutely love Chrissy, she is amazing and off the charts talented, but as a musician I have to objectively say that Pentatonix is way better at music than she is. I'm sure she'd be the first to agree.

Britny Boo Basically, "chocolate" in context of this song is marijuana. I'm referencing the singer a male in my explanation as the original song was sung by Matt Healy. When it says my "oh my car smells like chocolate", he means it smells of weed. Also when he say's "we're never gonna quit it", he's saying he's never going to quit smoking it. "running away from the boys in blue" running away from the police. Lastly, if this song was actually about chocolate, why would the line "guns hidden under our petticoats" appear multiple times. Chocolate is awesome, but I've never heard of somebody being shot over a dairy milk bar.
