Defeating a zombie horde through the power of rock and roller skates is hardly practical, but there comes a time in everyone's life where they must choose between what is easy, and what is awesome.
The zombie killing spree on rollerblades + the music is like a scene that would be in a zombie movie that doesn't take itself too seriously, and I love it.
Man. Mellifera has come so far from her first days. It hasn't even been that long, really, but she's finally had a chance to fight back and win. Things are probably only going to get harder from here, but at least for now, she's got something going. I'm proud of her.
As strange as it sounds, your narration coupled with the BGM is soothing and comforting in these troubling times. Your game analysis and gameplay narration is something I’m always looking forward to. Thank you so much Worm Girl!
This was such an incredible ending I loved the punk rollerblade derby at the skatepark while blasting zombies with the AR pistol. That's the coolest scene ever, this should be a movie.
Big fan of the series! You got me into playing CDDA. I always get a little anxious between long uploads cus I worry Mellifera met an untimely end and you weren’t able to record enough to construct a whole episode out of it!
One of the things I love most about this game, is how things just work out, didn't plan to go to the skate park, but it turned into a completely badass situation that fits your character background perfectly. Rock on punk rock girl! >:D
The way you fought the zombies at the end was such a movie or video game set piece I love it. Cdda usually discourages such moments, but you made it look natural.
Talk about use it or lose it, that was a great fight you had. You got me trying out a mall run right now, and it's been especially tough since I've had to clear out about 400 zombies or so so far, and I keep getting feral cop mobs that constantly blow on their whistles. Did manage to kill a necro and I'm in the progress of clearing a path to get the RV out though. Hope your medical issues are doing okay, and that you're past the worst of it.
WHAT an adventure and the shooting gallery zombie gore rink was just...I had visions of slow mo guns akimbo roller derby zombie shoot mashing. Mixed with that soundtrack, it made for quite a sight. I think THAT'S what is keeping me so enrapt in this series, it forces me to use my imagination. With your dulcet tones and choices leading the way, my brain is filling in the gaps and it is WONDERFUL! Thank you for continuing this series and I look forward to the next entry whenever it comes!
Omg I was so excited to see this episode go up and you did not disappoint the skate park section had me grinning ear to ear from start to finish that was amazing!
So this must be that "Zombieland" movie everyone's been talking about. In all seriousness this was a pretty fun episode! Sometimes all you need to survive a zombie apocalypse is the National Guard's armory.
I picked up Cataclysm and played a bit but was so overwhelmed. Thanks to this series and your great tutorials I've really sunk my time in and am enjoying the game. I've been looking forwards to this video for a while, fantastic job! Keep em coming!
It seems that, for all the mounting successes and positives, you lack still what you had not at the beginning; a friend. The apocalypse can be a lonely, lonely place.
This is why I love this game! You start out as a normie who's out of their depth and become a legend capable of leveling entire city blocks and making your own rules! Worm Skater Girl Forever!
Zamn. I just binged all the episodes. Honestly thought you'd die in the hunting store ngl. Love the chill narration and gameplay. Didn't play this game in 7+ years but oh man, such good memories!
Good to have you back! I dont normally comment, but this is amazing content. Your tutorials and videos actually got me to start playing CDDA, so im def looking forward to see where this goes! :D
Nestor reminds me of my survivor in an RP server for Zomboid, as a carrier, he wore a reflective vest, jumpsuit, lucky blue hat, a warm smile and a hoodie, wielding a spear and a small .22, Ismael, Izzy to his friends, is a good boy, even if he was framed.
I wasn't ready for that cheesy shooting gallery montage music, but damn it, I love it to death! Really like the thumbnail art and new portrait art too.
Hey Worm, I know you're a 'smaller', less frequent creator, but I just wanted to let you know I absolutely adore your content. Both the lore videos and CDDA content is amazing (you're responsible for introducing me to CDDA and LISA as well as F&H together with Supereyepatchwolf). I always check back and re-watch your videos. Keep up the great work and, if I may make a suggestion, a CDDA lore video would be a cool video that I haven't seen anyone else tackle. Thanks for your work!
I’m imagining her doing some Jet Set Radio style tagging, spraycan in one hand, CZ in the other, Joan Jett Blaring in the background as she hypes herself up
hey worm girl idk if you already have but you should look into setting up your autopickup settings, i always have rocks and arrows on autopickup it minimizes so much button clicking and menu traversal, prolly one of the best QoL features of the game, anyway i love your content
The sudden good art surprised me, Now I want to see updates if she were to wear different clothing or armor, the character is drawn both pretty and cool the same time. (Also learned a lot how to modify vehicles thanks to you tinkering the kayak)
YAY! Been missing this series. Your narration makes it so good! Also your pronunciation of Minot is French and in North Dakota they pronounce it My-not. Unfortately that led to the goofy phrase "Why not, Minot?"
Your videos and advice that I've read has really helped me get a grip on this game, and got a character past Summer for the first time. Love the narrative you've created around your character, also, and it's done a lot to show me that you don't need a busted build to survive in this game. Though, I'll say it's simply too fun to not play as a magic caster, and I can't not roll up a Magiclsym wizard for the majority of my runs. But that's just years of playing Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup and other roguelikes giving me the incurable urge to blast monsters with fireballs and magic beams
@@mutantwormgirl it's not so much the single hit damage of the rocks as much as it is the damage to your armour and clothing too. Today I had a feral one shot my Esapi plate in my vest, instantly compromised it. Not to mention the rate at which they throw them. Every one of them is a world class pitcher.
Those plates can be broken by having rocks lobbed at them IRL. They are designed to break, it is how they absorb hits. You really shouldnt be using esapi plates unless you're being shot at. They are designed to protect you once or twice and then be thrown away.
@@mutantwormgirl I did the aircraft carrier start and got kitted out from the HUGE suppliers in there. I didn't know they were ablative, thats kinda cool, will keep me on the look out for replacing them i guess :D Thanks for the reply, your vids pushed me to update my version from F to latest G, i'm looking forward to your next episode :D
Nice Disgaea vibes from the artwork in the NPC interaction part. The character reminds me of Ritsuko from Eva, or maybe the sidekick from Van Von Hunter. Very nice. Edit: The part where you finally open up with the guns is really epic. The music is a great touch.
this has such strong 90's teenage demographic zombie movie vibes, thank you for the nostalgia
Somebody said Night of the Comet. Return of the Living Dead also feels about right.
@@mutantwormgirl I was reminded of Armies of Darkness, that short scene where Ash rides a display cart blasting away with his shotgun.
Shop smart, shop S-Mart!
@@mutantwormgirlnight of the comet is such a good movie

the rollerskate massacre was such a vibe tho, I love it.
glad to see this series make a comeback
Ye im on the front of my seat hoping more of this series shows over time 🤩
7:06 SICK art, way above the level of even Catboy Satan. Has that Shu Takumi vibe
That rollerskate scene? With the music? Genuinely made me start laughing and crying, so well done and a perfect choice of song
6:46 Great, now I wanna see a VN based on a Cataclysm run.
This was such an incredible ending I loved the punk rollerblade derby at the skatepark while blasting zombies with the AR pistol. That's the coolest scene ever, this should be a movie.

I wouldn't leave you hanging like that, I was just dealing with a bunch of life stuff.
Dang life stuff. Always interfering with the fun stuff. heh.@@mutantwormgirl
Both you and Rycon are my go-to's for CDDA rp's thus far!
Psychopath on roller skates slaughters dozens to save a man she's never met
Melly is gone literally for a *Skate or Die* situation...
I bet she was laughing to herself while the horde was approaching...
5:39 Those cobra chickens are no joke.
One of the things I love most about this game, is how things just work out, didn't plan to go to the skate park, but it turned into a completely badass situation that fits your character background perfectly. Rock on punk rock girl! >:D
I'm amazed none of that carnage managed to attract the attention of the dissolute hulk. Great video! And good work by the artists who helped.
I realized that during editing, haha.
Genuinely the music was an amazing touch, loved the episode a ton & loved the Melfira art!
The image of a punk rock girl in roller-skates zooming around a skatepark at night killing a bunch of zombies is INCREDIBLE!
I honestly think it makes it 10 times better that she's complete miserable while this epic, badass battle is playing out!
Fighting is stressful!
The way you fought the zombies at the end was such a movie or video game set piece I love it.
Cdda usually discourages such moments, but you made it look natural.

Oh yeah I'm fine now, thanks for asking!
Malls are likely much more difficult now with the ferals and recent gun changes. Congrats on clearing a path!
Worm Girl maintaining the calmest, sweetest voice while hard rock music plays over zombie-killing carnage just tickles me :3
Yoooo! That portrait and that thumbnail look SO good! Thank you for this great content!
I am so happy a other great cdda story teller is now taking stage. Ty so much wormgirl for your performance.
The vibes on this episode was top notch I love it.
hi new subscriber i came for the fear and hunger but stayed for the cataclysm you are great!
Welcome!
Well wormy, you knew exactly how to make a one hell of an episodes. 10/10
Great convo art!
Also, Mel going full rampage mode was so cathartic!
Sweet, new ep. The Lisa video was seriously top notch but I can't lie that this climactic series goes super hard too

Quake zone rumble is an absolute classic, i appreciate your taste in music
It seems that, for all the mounting successes and positives, you lack still what you had not at the beginning; a friend.
The apocalypse can be a lonely, lonely place.
didn't expect to marathon a series in yt when i started eps 1 but here i am at eps 12.
Mellifera time!!
My day is made and my joy is immeasurable

Zipping around a skatepark shotting zombies every which way. Totally worth the wait!

Didn't play this game in 7+ years but oh man, such good memories!
Rollergirl Rampage indeed
But that cliffhanger was just evil!
Is it really a cliffhanger, it read as.
MISSION ACCOMPLISHED
To me, a triumphant victory.
I mean yeah you're right but still...@@AbstractTraitorHero
Dam this is the first time a "zombie apocalypse" has been about the zombies getting wiped out.
We're ahead of the difficulty curve because we got weapons and armor early, but the zombs won't stay low level forever.

Ending to the vid felt so old school. Got me thinking to old movies and stuff I'd imagine.
Grinding rails while blasting zombies with a handgun is some "my-cousin-Throckmorton" level shit.
Lettice and energy drinks are the breakfast of champions
Poured myself a glass of wine for the faithful return of wormgirl.
Hope everything is going alright for you.
That ending fight was one of the raddest things I've seen in CDDA.
Glad to see you return! And remember: happiness is a new Chevy! (Gosh darn UA-cam ads)
I love to drive brand new trucks over mountainous terrain.

Good thinking. That's one of those things I know about but always forget to make a habit of.
Ooh! New art for the conversations, too!
This is an awesome series. Somehow both relaxing and exciting in turn. I'm really curious to see what will happen next. Keep up the good work!
So happy to see a new ep in this series!
Had to catch up to this series in a matter of days because it hooked me from the getgo. Amazing work, can't wait for the next one!
Fun entertainment, thanks a bunch Worm Girl. 🙂Have fun !
Meliferra's mood during the roller derby shootout may be ):
But mine is definitely :D
The series continues, let's GOOOOO.

Loved the Roller derby rampage.
Was super excited to see this series continue....love the music action scene!!!!
this episode absolutely ruled. great job worm girl. super excited for the next one.
Blessed Be for St. Algorithmas.
Also very happy to see you back to the series after whatever you were dealing with.
I was dozing off tot his video when the skatepark music scared the crap out of me lol
OH it's been so long GAWD I've missed this series.

LFG NEW WORM GIRL VID!!!!!
Return of the Queen.
"ouch a rock comes flying through an open doorway with the ballistic force of a .50cal rifle round!"
^-- you know it's true! :p
People really overstate the threat of rocks. A .50 does 70-120 damage, a rock does like 8.

There's no rule that says you can't use rollerskates in battle!
It's not how many bullets you have left. It's....."Is it ENOUGH bullets"
Yey more of this legendary journey i cannot wait!
