I’m binge listening to Shane since his passing. I first saw them live first in 1985. Shane’s lyrics gave us second generation Irish in England something to identify with at a time it was cool to be Irish. Did you watch his funeral, it was some send off, poetry, song and dancing in the isle of the church. 👌💕

Know much a pint of beer was then lad 35:francs that's 20 odds years ago me and my X wife was there it was 7francs to the pound sterling so it was 7:Stirling I nearly died ... It's before the euro .. you know that Elvis Costello done wrote a note and number it wasn't his number but a contact agency we rang it said our names that Mr Costello said for us to ring , we thought he too busy he would forget nope the wonderful lady told us we have two premier tickets to his show in Dublin, seats near the front not quite the front 20 back and dinner and complementary dinner at the Connacht Dublin . Ah, was going suggest this one, any song can be sung in pubs, have heard anything from irish songs(English and irish language) to Elvis and Mongolian throat singing, so it's a wide variety. Being irish I don't know much redheads. Maybe 6 or 7. Probably know more people with grey hair, including myself, well semi grey. Salt and pepper😄👍
