This episode also marks the start of the Femur&Pyrus friendship. Femur did have a soft spot for him and was shown wanting to save him more than once. The only character Femur seems to genuinely cares about. I think it's because of Pyrus' general attitude toward him (he's the only person who seems to like Femur) and his actions when he came back to talk to him.
@Robert Kenny Well, you know the rhyme. "You snag the throne, you rule on Bone. The guy that dies is food for flies." In other words, that's how they do things on Bone. Why do you think Femur is always keeping a close eye Pelvis?
@@EmptyMan000 You want me to convince an ignoramus that Canada isn't some SJW fantasy land he dreamed up? Yeah, that's worth my time. Me being from Canada and telling him to shove it, I find that was a good way to do that.
Bone is SUPPOSED to be like Renaissance Italy with all the political backstabbing and underhanded intrigue. That's why Sternum had an Italian accent and Femur has a Mafia Boss accent. Why Pelvis had that goofy Brit accent, I dunno.
i find it interesting that Mark Oliver voices king Cryos here and Rau LeCruset from gundam seed and Matt Hill (Pyrus) voices kira Yamato from seed as well.
@@michaelgreenwood3413 I always thought it was Scott McNeil doing an evil Arnold Schwarzenegger impression but yeah, there is some overlap. Wonder who would win Beast Planet vs. Chaos?
How do the beast drone use tools? or do they fashion tools from their own null matter bodies? it would explain how they can build advanced equipment like the shield generator
Because it's the organic element of the planet group. Each planet provides some resource that the neighbour planets need. Ice planet provides water; Fire the energy; Rock the hard materials for building; and Bone the food supplies. Well, I suppose that's the logic behind it.
Goddamn it I hated Femur. He was barely funny half of the time. Even still he was a conniving little fool thinking more with his cloaca's stiffy than he did about the safety and preservation of his world. He literal only jumped in bed with Lamprey because he found her attractive and distrusted the others. But he had to know about the Treaty of Four or heard rumors about the Beast Planet as the leader of Bone like King Cryos did. Smh. Not only that he's covered in either fake weapons or empty guns that could save his life at any given time that he leaves unloaded. Thankfully he was able to start building a conscience and stopped trying to betray the alliance at some point, mostly so that he could blame everything on Graveheart if things went bad, but under his command they hardly ever did. I also think Planet Bone was supposed to be another kind of world, similar to how I believe Planet Reptizar was before it's Doomsday. But the larger creatures started dying all over it, leaving the place a swamp thanks o their rotting remains and the smaller life forms became the people of Bone evolved from the less gargantuan ones and used the corpses of the larger dead animals as structures and materials for their culture and ship construction. As well as the Lichen that grows on those remains and all over it's plant life. In a way it almost reminds me of the Garden of Nurgle from Warhammer Fantasy. But that was more like a twisted perversion of life into everything that is basically just deadly to living creatures meanwhile the demonic ones love it there like the Nurglings. And many of Bone's weapons are still metallic or have a metallic internal structure while the outside components are organic, which is why many things seem like tongues or bladders like on Femur's command ship the Scapula.

You can really see how much fun they had animating Femur. Guy's got a face fulla silly putty!
I like how the one thing Cryos and the Vizer agree on is their low opinion of Femur
Femur gets a throne, through certain ways...

Canada did some kickass cartoons back in those days. Shadow Raiders, Beast Wars, Reboot, etc.
TheNewEmphinix they did all that some of the best cartoons of the 90's
Before it became Politically Correct, Social Justice Warrior land, yes.
Cleric775 How's this for PC? Shut your hole.

The presentation of Pelvis on Femur is perfect, just perfect. It made me laugh out loud.
WOW I have not seen this show in like 15 years. So much nostalgia rushing through. Just realized voice actor for Graveheart is Matrix from Reboot.
And Emperor Femur is Optimus Primal.
And Pyrus is Ryo of the Wildfire (Matt Hill).
insaneapples Paul Dobson.

Have a woman in a movie say that today, she'd be labeled "SJW Propaganda".
@@ShadowSonic2 Or maybe she won't be labeled as such as long as she isn't a man-hater.
Planet Bone had some pretty cool music there. :)
Hey, Femur's entrance theme was an off-key "It's Not Unusual"
He is certainly "loved" by everyone!
That Beast Drone that was staring at Jade when she tried to strangle Femur be like "That looks like fun!"
Planet fire music: middle eastern
PLanet rock music: that flute from beast wars
Planet ice music: horns
PLanet bone music: RHYTHMIC BURPING
Suitable for each world's culture.

sad how this and reboot never got real endings
I remember watching this on Saturday morning 21 years ago. Nice
"Let's talk about protectionnnn"
Lamprey, sex ed teacher..
Good episode.
Femur is the complete opposite of Marsala from Exosquad (but they're both voiced by Garry Chalk).
And the opposite of Optimus Primal as well.
Always found it odd that the last world was not an air-themed world. All the other worlds were element-based.
LOL The swamp King is really found of himself! haha

I remember watching this when I was like 9 :D I had to search Google with funny names to find this. Thank for uploading! :)
They could call this show Beast Wars lol
How about that music to the planet's introduction at about the 2:30 mark? I'd listen to that for leisure...
"It's Not Unusual" Tom Jones
Femur is the best.
Holy shit, it's SSSSIIINDRRRIIII

The negotiations were short
Nice "Star Wars" reference
How did they know Lamprey's name?
Femur said her name, when they first met her
Should've known then that he wasn't working for the right side.
what about beast planet it looks like unicron
i think the toy was based off Unicron

To Have a Hostage and use him to end the Alliance with Fire.

fire planet, rock, ice, but WHY a bone planet?

What does Femur say to graveheart before ending transmission at the start? Can't quite get it.
***** Thank you :D
