This one took awhile. I spent over 100 hours on this, but it was totally worth it. We will never see college football like this ever again. It will still be great, and it will still be worth watching, but nothing will ever compare to the magical charm we saw in the BCS/CFP era. I will forever remember late night pac-12 after dark as I fell asleep on the couch, the upsets we saw every single week, the crazy stories, legendary moments, and magical charm from the greatest era of a sport of all time. BCS/CFP era...we will miss you.
What was your favorite moment from this era? Let me know in the comments.
also, if you want to support me you can through this link www.paypal.com/paypalme/meyersmediafamily?country.x=US&locale.x=en_US this took me all of break over 100+ hours to find the clips and edit so your support helps me make these videos
the beauty of this sport is that one moment is your teams most crushing defeat, and then the next is their greatest triumph. it was truly a sport like no other
So well said. Absolutely true. What an outstanding edit. Thank you so much…from a kid that grew up on the 20th century espncenter montage.
thats why i love cfb
The twelve team playoff sadly will remove the urgency of winning all your games
Us Nebraska fans beg to differ. We know only pain.
It’s crazy that this era has both the dark ages and the golden age of Michigan football. Go
blue!! College football is about to never be the same though
that's the beauty of the sport
2006-2023 Michigan football is one of if not the greatest sports story ever told
@@JesusisLord756they lose for a decade and once they start cheating they win and you say it’s one of the best sports stories..
@@camdenjames8351 what's that, all I hear is salty buckeye tears
Michigan fans are so funny lmao@@JesusisLord756
Crazy that this video comes out talking about how cfb will never be the same on the same day Saban retires
There are just too many fantastic games to contain within one video
agreed
Some great memories in here. This is why I love college football. In my mind the NFL will never compare.
I got so many chills and emotions watching this. Thank you so much for this video. It was truly a special time in college football and in sports. The memories of that era will last forever.
PSA TO ALL THE SEC ELITISTS (Alabama, Georgia & LSU specifically)
This is NOT an SEC tribute video. It's NOT showing all the best players and best teams and showcasing the SEC's dominance. I have gotten SO many angry alabama, LSU, and georgia fans whining about why i didnt include more of their wins in here. I have at least 2 wins for all three of those schools. Some schools got no wins in here, you got 2. Alabama beating Norte Dame 42-10 in the national championship isnt really an iconic moment. Alabama beating Georgia on the last play IS. Just like that's why i included Georgia's win over ohio state rather than the 66-7 win over TCU. Yes, alabama fans, it is considered a huge achievement to beat alabama that is why the losses are iconic moments. It's part of what happens when you are so dominant. If you don't like how much your team was featured, make your own video that takes 100 hours.
I could hug you for making this video! Awesome job!! 💯💯💯
gonna make me cry. possibly the most beautiful video i've ever seen. this sport truly is the greatest
This has got to be the best college football video i've ever seen....so many legendary moments....i got chills, goosebumps, and tears watching (perfect music too 👌🏻). ALL HAIL COLLEGE FOOTBALL ✊🏻✊🏻✊🏻
One of your best videos! Sad to see such a magical era end. It really sucks how it became all about money and not tradition. I was watching the national championship and I saw a PAC-12 ad, I got so sad when I realized I might never see another again. At least it ended with the first Michigan Natty in years. Go Blue! I'm excited to see what this new era has in store.
Even as a Georgia fan, I gotta admit. 2nd and 26, though heartbreaking, was one of the greatest moments ever in sports. That and Jalen Hurts comeback the following SEC Championship. If you love the game of college football, you can appreciate glorious moments even on the losing side.
THANK YOU! As a Bama fan I really felt the hate in this clip cause there was literally only 3 clips of Bama in this and the only good one was 2nd and 26 lol. Like come on! The most dominant coach and team of this time period and they get two clips of getting beat and one of winning.
Agreed. Additionally, with all the field goals featured in this video, I think it should have included Will Reichard's kick to become the all-time leading scorer in all of CFB history.
CFB is simply greater. Greatest sport there is.
What an amazing video capturing the magic that it has. Thank you for this.
As a Bama fan I remember so many of these games sad that corporate greed is destroying one of the things I love most
I've been waiting for this video for years. Hail the Victors!
This one isn’t the Michigan video he’s making that one soon though he said
That was one of the best videos I’ve ever seen in my life. Wow.
thank you!!!!
As a Buckeye fan I love that now instead of just making videos about the team you support, youre making videos supporting all of college football, especially that Ohio State-Michigan video supporting both teams in the lead up to the 2023 game.
That tapped into the emotions
Awesome! Just f•°king awesome🥲! Miss hearing Keith Jackson, Brent Musberger and Vern Lundquist on some of those great calls 😢 Well done sir! Whenever I'm feeling down this is going to be my go to video 👍👏😁 〽️🏈💪👊🍾🎉🏆😎
As an FSU fan im pretty disappointed you didn’t include the Winston to Benjamin game winning TD that secured the final BCS national championship
my bad
u guys should've made this CFP too
Thru 11 mins, where I stopped, FSU was the butt of 4-5 plays (deservedly so I admit) while the LSU blocked PAT was the only highlight. And yea, no Winston to KB, Whitfield 100 yd KO return, Jordan Travis run vs UF, 2017 FSU v Mich in the bowl game, pick any game with Dalvin Cook running, Dustin Hopkins 50+ yard FG as time expires to beat Clem I think in 2011, etc. Cool video and you cant please everyone but missed important highlights and illustrates why FSU wants out of the ACC to get a more noteworthy conference.
This video is the most beautiful masterpiece I have ever seen
Michigan - osu 2021 is probably my favorite football game of all-time.
this is such an awesome video man thank u. this is my childhood era i’ll never forget it. what a time.
GO BLUE 〽️ IIICHIGAN
Amazing video. As an American living in Australia I am a Michigan fan, so GO BLUE! This video was great. 2006-2023 was truly the prime age of college football. I hate this new conference realignments, it doesn't make any sense. This truly was the end of an era. So many great moments, and that's why college football is probably my favorite sport of all time, if not the NBA. I was actually at the Rose Bowl this year and it was magical to see my wolverines beat my most hated team in Alabama, which was actually Saban's final game. Nice to witness part of this final 4-year playoff season in person. Great vid tho!
Great music choice and great editing, what a video and “what a time to be alive” GOBLUE!〽️
Being a Longhorn fan, I've thought about that Crabtree catch for 15 years.
Fantastic work as always can’t wait to see the natty video go blue
go blue cant wait to make that video
This might be the greatest video I've ever watched
One of my favorite videos I’ve ever watched
this is a masterpiece
Wow, this is incredible. I appreciate your painstaking efforts to make this awesome video. Thanks.
thank you! it took my entire break lol
we need more of these. the editing is amazing.
Go Blue love these highlights and the music very well edited
I think this is a mixture of two eras (the BCS was an era, and the 4 team CFP was a second), but still a really good video that I shared on Reddit not long after you released it. Fun stuff!
Hope youre considering a Michigan's season video
thanks so much for sharing! yes i am working on it!
Beautiful tribute.
You deserve so much more recognition brother. The quality and production of these videos is just top tier and incredible. Amazing job!
thank you that means so much! this video took 100+ hours so your support means a lot
This shit got me emotional
Beautiful, it's perfect 🥺
Waiting on that Michigan National Champions run edit spanning 2020 through 2023 set to Mr. Brightside. Gonna hit right in the feels.
As a buckeyes fan, ill watch it and cry
Amazing video editing skills again! I always look forward to your videos but you gotta start giving us a warning if the video is going to hit us in the feels haha
hahahaha they always hit in the feels
Great video
My favorite games that i watched were texas usc 2017, psu osu 2017, lsu bama 2019, and Tennessee bama 2022
man all those games were C L A S S I C S
@@meyersmediafamily and also texas a&m Alabama 2021
I’m abroad with a bunch of kids who don’t understand why I love college football over the NFL. This. This is why.
Unfortunately NIL is gunna ruin this. And it’s slowly moving into the NFL model. Kids arnt playing for state/school/pride. Just money now. The Midwest family that had 2 legacy brothers play on the same team, the 3rd brother growing up won’t go with the family. He will go with who is paying the most
BEAUTIFUL😢
NICE
I think this is a mixture of two eras (the BCS was an era, and the 4 team CFP was a second), but still a really good video that I shared on Reddit not long after you released it. Fun stuff!
Hope you're considering a Michigan's season video
You can’t take away the conferences, but you can’t take the memories
Can*
they will never take our memories
Crazy how the usc kicker who beat Texas in 2017 was the same kicker at Tennessee to beat bama
10:06 dude hugging the ref🤣
THIS IS A WONDERFUL piece of art. Thank you so much for doing this. Now, we look forward to a new era in College Football. Also, what is that music in the background called? I love it.
Beautiful video
Awesome video man, go blue
This video is epic.
Videos never disappoint
A video like this could be done for every individual season of the BCS/CFP era.
LET'S GO BLUE!! I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS ONE!! Can't wait for that Michigan Natty video... 👀
go blue!!
Goosebumps from start to finish! As a Michigan fan, tysm for this fitting end to an amazing era. See you all in the playoffs next year! Go Blue!
Michigan won't sniff the playoff next year. Y'all are losing everyone lol
@editnosmirc4489 neither will your sucknuts..
I love College Football. College Football is the best, but with the 12 team College Football Playoff, NIL, and the Transfer Portal, it's becoming NFL Jr.
These edits are always top tier, looking forward for the next one!
Really 2 and 4 were never enough, 3/5 would always feel slightly robbed, but 12 is way to much imo, shoulda been 8 but I’m glad they are expanding at all
I think 12 is the perfect number. Make conference championship wins matter, and let the top ranked “little guy” get a shot. They’re gonna get stuffed 9 times out of 10, but with the way the transfer system works now, you could get 3 and 4 stars that may not see the light of day at all (or soon enough to those guys) transferring to those smaller schools for the instant start that could shorten the gap some. Every other level of football also does 10+ team playoffs. Why can’t the FBS do it with the way the playing field has been leveled some with the recent changes?
@@clark2501 8 would be perfect because, give each power 5 conference champion (the ones that have an actual championship game like the sec and b10) an automatic spot, then the 3 at large teams
For big blue to get In the last year was just all the more sweet
Please make an updated version of your 2% to #2 video. That one was amazing!! Maybe like make it an extended cut that includes the journey to the national title.
i will once i have time
@@meyersmediafamily thanks!!
Make a Michigan version Like "we did it"
God bless America, greatest game ever played
I’m not crying, you’re crying.
You should have named this video “Every Heartbreaking Game for Ohio State Fans in the last 20 years”.
k just ignore the big wins i put in here
Chills
Idk what the future holds for CfB but it’s been a beautiful sport, at least up until now. Hope it doesn’t lose what made it fun
it won't be but at least we have the memories
Was Jalen Hurts’ redemption in the 2018 SEC championship not included, or did I just miss it? That’s one of the greatest moments I’ve seen in college football.
It’s gotta be that 2007 Fiesta Bowl!! Let’s go Boise State Broncos 🔥🔥🔥
As a neutral that was an incredible moment.
so cool! boise was such an amazing story
Got me crying over here
There's so many electrifying moments to choose from but one that comes to mind that didn't get picked was the Jaxon Smith-Njigba 300 yard rose bowl game, but there's just so many good ones.
i considered that but Ohio state had better moments and i cant use the same team too many times
college football will never be the same
The Boise State Statue of Liberty play is IMO the most memorable college football play ever.
lets go blue
Cant wait till this season is vacated
@@kamehouseboxing7142 COPE
@kamehouseboxing7142 keep waiting..
Stop it
@@kamehouseboxing7142ncaa president said they wont vacate the title
Please please please make a Michigan national champs video! Every single one of your videos are amazing!
I wish he showed the rod Moore interception, but still an awesome video
it will be in my next Michigan video...stay tuned!
Dude this whole video gave me goosebumps
That LSU loss to Ole Miss still ticks me off to this day. Les had a weird relationship with clock management that cost them more than just that game.
This videos first 2 lsu clips were tragic. We had so many better moments
@@Trifln214well then you got burrow
@@plainscripture what’s that have to do with it? We won championships before burrow little bro. I stand by my statement there way better lsu footage than what was shown
@@Trifln214 but this isn’t an LSU highlight vid…there was a show segment literally devoted to burrow and the 2019 LSU team longer than any other segment
@@Trifln214 not an Alabama fan btw i made the video and actually all the bama fans are mad at me for not including them more
Man, Michigan State had some all-timers under Dantonio. I wish I knew that those were the good old days when I was living in them
❤
it will never be the same without saban
Man fsu and Michigan have recovered
Michigan did doesn’t seem like fsu has
FSU shoulda been in the playoff i stand by that...also the NCAA allegations sound dumb@@davidwujczyk3037
Go Dawgs 🤘
It’s so obvious the hate for Bama from the general public. In the era you just laid out, 13/17of the eventual national champions were either Alabama, or had to beat them to get there. Bama has been the absolute gatekeeper of the sport since ‘08 and has had some of the most amazing finishes in sports, and to just not include them more is wild.
11 clips, only three Bama wins from the single most dominant program in the era.
When you've been the big dawg for decade plus you should be used to getting hate..
They were in a bunch of clips 😅. Everyone knows they were the biggest dog, Georgia overtook them though. Michigan didn’t have a beat Bama practice the last 2 years, it was a beat Georgia practice
This isn’t an Alabama highlight reel bro…there were some bama clips just like there were other teams…part of college sports is that there’s cool moments for every team not just the ones with the most talent
not gonna highlight blowout wins. cool part about college football is the underdogs beating the favorites so yes there were a lot of bama losses in the vid
I WAS WAITING FOR THIS 🔥 THANK YOU SO MUCH
OU had some cool moments too...
Started with the infamous Trojan loss and finished with a legendary Trojan win FIGHT ON
Yup this was the last era, they get better every generation. Gg boys
It’s a mean machine in red and black
You need to do a video of Michigan’s championship season! GO BLUE!!
working on it
Go Noles!
Like I didn’t see the greates college football player EVER IN REGGIE BUSH save this shit for pro and lest respect every year college football is special
well bush was on the team in 2006 that the video started on but that was kinda a different era in my mind yea
I know a lot of this hurt to edit as a Michigan fan. I’m sure hardware eases the pain. As a Bama fan, there were some stingers but I can’t complain. Welcome to the club Wolves. Great season. Great video, man.
hahahah it used to hurt more, now it doesnt hurt really to make ngl since they finally won
Bama dominated CFB during this time period and there were like 3 Bama highlights, interesting
And Baylor didn’t but there were like 4 Baylor clips. What’s your point
College football will be just like nfl where games are great but not meaningful, for example, the Miami miracle in 2018 was one of the greatest plays ever but by the end of the year meant absolutely nothing
There will never be a good college season like these one from 2006-2010-2012-2019 in my opinion and the reason why I say this was because I was a young kid during this years I was born on November 5th 2005 November 5th 2018 I turned 13 November 5th 2019 I turned 14 now I’m 18 years old and a senior in high school still living through a COVID-19
Can you teach me how to edit like this? How much to get coaching?
