Big Green Scream | Skidmore College Traditions

It’s packed. It’s filled with green (and some yellow). And it’s really loud.
Skidmore’s annual Big Green Scream tradition has become a hallmark event where the community comes together to show the collective pride and passion that defines the Thoroughbred spirit.
Fans came out in full force for the double-header this year to cheer on Skidmore's basketball teams as they competed in their final two home games, while also partaking in some “only at Skidmore” festivities, such as the return of Recycle Mania, dance performances, contests, and the infectious energy brought on by Skids, Skidmore's beloved mascot.
