Yes, very enjoyable! I grew up in Las Vegas and was a Boy Scout in my youth in a troop run by some ranchers and real cowboys, so we went and camped all over the place, and that instilled a love for adventure. In my young adult years I went with a few friends to many spots to camp, some in national parks and most in remote areas! Watching your video gave me a bit of happy nostalgia. I just turned 70 but if I was 20/30 years younger I'd give a go at this Drone exploring thing!!!!! Keep 'em coming. Thanks!
Reads like a wonderful youth. Going out into the wilderness with competent and knowledgeable, caring, protective adults is wholly worthy experience for young men. As a former Boy Scout I envy your youthful experiences. Sadly the Boy Scouts fell victim to Social movements. Grand memories.
Have always loved the drive on the Apache Trail along with the off-road drive that used to be between Cave Creek and New River but I see from newer maps it is all built up and the old trail is no longer there. Just remember it well as the last time I was on it was around 1980 and had to stop to let a dinner plate-sized tarantula cross the trail.
13:45 That particular cave was inhabitated. You can tell by the blackened ceiling caused by burning wood within the cave. The smoke rolls across the ceiling and out of the opening which you can confirm from the blackened ceiling exiting the cave.
Aridzona may have 7 million people, but five million of them live in Phoenix (and fortunately seldom venture out). That leaves a lot of land to explore. Your drone met an Ocotillo. You should invest in some snake gaiters for hiking. As of this writing, it has been a year since we've had any significant rainfall. Two dry summers in between a very tepid winter.
Excellent question! It depends on which battery I'm using, one battery I have gets me 34 minutes of flight time and the plus battery gets me 45 minutes of flight time, and I have a total of 12 batteries for this drone, and 4 portable power banks to keep them charged while I'm on the road
I'm waiting for the day when the drone sneaks up on a mountain lion or a bobcat living in one of those cliff caves, that would be so cool especially if they had babies.....Javi G.
Another awesome video as always. I really enjoy this type of content 👍 Also like the music you picked for this video as it reminds me of the old Clint Eastwood Spaghetti Westerns. 😁
Fantastic video! Just subscribed I am going to take a shot at the car. I believe that car is a 1935-1936 Ford humpback sedan last two years they made a colonial roof which is wood and vinyl. Glad I came across your channel.
Hey Jessie, I love your videos ! I live in the Peoria/Arrowhead area. I bought a Mavic Mini in 2019 but haven't used it in a year or two. I wish I could get out to some of the areas you shoot in but I have been too damn lazy !! My hats off to you man. 😄
Smart of you to pause as you hike along, take a 360 to get a feeling of what's about you. Decades ago, when I was young and thought invincible and possibly immortal (I wasn't) our Marine unit went out on night time security blocks (ambush sites) to protect the hamlets of our village (we lived to protect and serve a village we were assigned in a counter insurgency program) in Vietnam, we'd always have 2 of our number straggle behind in a safety (killer) team to ensure nobody was tracking us. Your vigilance is well taken. Question. Isn't there some electronic homing device to attach to your bike and watch? Just asking.
ahhh, now i know the name....thank you!! luckily for me it was a good crash and it was just the propellers that were damaged....and not the gimbal .....thank for watching!
Incredible drone footage. So cool that you got to see those deer. Just curious, have you ever done a range test with your drone to see how far that it will fly in those wide open spaces? I have flown my mini 4 pro about a mile, but I’m afraid to go further than that.
Hey Jessie, just found you and after two videos I'm hooked! New subscriber. I do a lot of hiking and I have always wanted to do what you have done. Send a drone to the caves and holes I can't get to. Your videos are interesting and edited well. I hope you bring something with you in case you get hurt and have to stay the night. Or a way of contacting help. I'm on board and can't wait for the next video. Thanks
@@jessiesdroneadventures7464 Your videos are the best and great editing. I live in Arizona and they make me want to get out to these places - but I have to admit, watching your videos works great for me.
I'm new to your channel. Are you planning on checking out that ruin site in person? If not, it's not worth to subscribe. Don't get me wrong, drones are cool. However, leaving that site behind would drive anyone crazy not knowing what could be there.
Jesse, an awesome video, the sheer cliffs are amazing and the terrain is epic. I have a question for you, since some disrespectful idiot flew their drone on one of the LA fires and crashed into a fire plane I was wondering if drones have to be registered, just for these type of reasons? Oh, and I love your music, it fits.
Mountain lions and snakes... how do you prepare for these? And going it alone seems like a very bad idea. /Edit: ok, you answered one of my questions when you got to the gate.
I tried capturing my DJI Phantom 3 Pro, before it hit something. Those props will cut you if they catch skin. Why I tried to grab it, still eludes me. Nice video work. How the hell do these cars get into these areas?
162k on my Veloster, just changed every frickin sensor on it last year. One after another. 4 coils, 2 cam sensors, crank sensor, cam sensor and 02 sensor. Runs great again. Also just did the Apache trail 2 weeks ago. Hiked up to the cave at fish bridge and enjoyed the views from the trail.
"... places that the human eye has not yet seen..." Chance that you will ever see any place in Arizona that has not already been seen by indigenous peoples, who first arrived in the area 13,000 years ago: Zero.
Aside from the hazards that you mentioned, it's the ones that you didn't mention that would be much higher on my list. For example, snakes and wild animals, illegals, flat tires...I would be traveling heavier...rifle and a pistol, machete, shelter provisions...even an apple watch will guide you back to you car. I'm involved in emergency management and you make me abundantly nervous. Everyone thinks they are prepared until one or two unexpected things happen...like a severely sprained ankle or a broken arm.
I would never bring an E bike in the desert... Have you ever seen one catch fire?! That would not be good if the battery were to explode while in the middle of a desert... lol hell no Also, what was it that you "werent supposed to see"?? Fascinating. Thanks for the view. Please be careful. Make sure someone knows where you go.

I just learned how I can make sure my daughter goes where she says she is going. The old following drone trick. Excellent.
Hi, I love you videos , it's the only way for me to enjoy these beautiful nature,so thank you ! Be safe, God bless you 😊😊

@@jessiesdroneadventures7464 my second post is missing.
It collided with an ocotillo.
I started carrying a Garmin Mini 2 satellite communication device. May be something to consider.

As always...
Thank you for the trip. Awesome looking place.
Love the music
Awww, com'on. We wanna know what's in the blue barrel too. 😶
I believe that was an ocotillo your drone crashed into.
I saw your drone found a couple people on the trail on the ridge at 14:16 to 14:18 in the lower right corner.
Really enjoyed this video. Thank you!
Awesome Video! Love exploring hidden canyons. Subscribed to your channel. Gives me ideas to go there and hike those areas.
How long can your drone fly before it stops? Do you carry extra batteries? How long to recharge?

Pretty extraordinary! Fascinating how you can get places with the drone safely and check things out!! Very cool!! Just subbed 1/12/25
Omg this was a cute one ❤️🙌🏽❤️ I missed your dimples
Another great video. Thank you!
It's amazing you didn't run into any rattlers or other snakes, etc!!
New subscriber here, what is the range on the drone.
Max range is up to 18km/ 11 miles when using the intelligent flight battery plus " the battery with 45 minute time" 👍
Please keep on making those videos
You got it!!

The Ocotillo got your drone.

Some of those caves are kinda nice. Add wiring. Some plumbing. Wi-Fi. Home Sweet Home!
That ocotillo stalk took out your drone. I’ve been using a DJI3 to explore new areas, I’m way too paranoid to fly it into those deep remote places…..

Montezumas Castle is supposed to be pretty cool too.
You should have the app map my walk. It's how I find my car when I hike. It's free BTW 😊
That was an Ocotillo cactus that molested your drone. Bad cactus! Behave.
So barren, so beautiful

How the hell do these cars get into these areas?
By accidentally driving off the road and falling down the hill.
Is that the car Bonnie and Clyde were driving when killed? Oh wait, that was in another state...
I drove that before it was paved.
Looked like an ocotillo.
You should go back to that area with 2 other people and go down to that cave to investigate. Never go into a cave like that alone.
10:15 looks like an ocotillo skeleton!
Those pesky ocotillo!
