  • Randy Lawrence has had one of the most remarkable careers in two wheels I have ever come across. He was an OG of the BMX scene in Southern California and the brother of "Factory" Phil Lawrence. He found his way into a roll as a mechanic and wound up working with "The King" Jeremy McGrath before retiring to race the Downhill World Cup for Intense. He then came back into moto to work as a trainer and carved out an amazing career for himself training guys like Jake Weimer and Ryan Villopoto.

I am Carsons Gpa and talked with Randy a couple years ago at Mammoth when he was working with Carson. I respect his philosophy of being tough and understanding this is business. After that I talked with Carson about being more aggressive and work the inside lines because other riders that finish ahead of him are taking money out of his pocket. He has the skills and someday will think like Jo and Jett that second place is the first loser and not an option.

I think Forkner needs to get off Kawi and either go get on a husky or TLD ride or even KTM. Or even drop down to second best team. I think he would be able to build his confidence back up without the high pressure of being on a factory team

I think he’d thrive on Star. Hell they already have 500 riders, what’s one more? lol

He needs to atleast get a podium, u can’t expect a factory to wanna invest in non podiums or 10th place finishes it’s just not profitable for them just cuz someone is a nice guy or was winning amateurs, they don’t care about that !

I doubt going from Pro Circuit to KTM group would be anything other than a side step. They're both kinda dictatorial teams. With PC, it's Peyton's way or the highway. With KTM (only KTM or the whole grp?), it's Baker's program or the highway. I do agree on the change of scenery/fresh start idea. just question whether KTM in particular is the best switch from pro circuit.

Hes missed too much time. Just because the stopwatch says he still has the speed for a lap, doesn’t mean he can do it over and over. He needs a slow rebuild.

Amateur motocross is borderline Child abuse. Look at Ryan Villopoto documentary. Poor kid hated racing but his parents forced him to. The parents convince you it’s what you have to do.

Cause it’s probably mostly funded, ran, and watched by people who cant do it. Same with every sport. Same with top leadership at most jobs

It’s a sport where only 1 person wins at a time. Sets things up for brutal outcomes for people who never become champions, no matter how promising they look at some point

Jarrett Frye was a really good rider that was spit out. Timing of injuries and he didn't get the chance to pull it all together. Guy walks away from racing at 20 years old.

Fuck who wants to pay someone NOT to do the job. Forkner’s constantly getting hurst. He rides well, but will never be a champion. You have to be in it to win it as they say.

Agree fella's with you if you're out racing pro. But most mx racers don't start until old enough to work, drive and buy your own bike. It's parents getting or enabling their kids to get out there at young age. Most families are not in that position. People racing pro especially young are lucky to be spoilt enough to be out there. Each and every time Jase brings up the Gym and Jujitsu he should have to donate $10,000 to Wounded Warriors. He talked the Jujitsu Gym more than actual Motocross/Supercross in this clip.

Mitch is paying these kids to buy diamond rings for little girls instead of racing. I’m just saying Forkner hasn’t done well since he’s been on lockdown with the monster girl and I’m pretty sure Macado just found time to get married what is he like 19?

A clip without mentioning the word JETT 👏 If the media keeps on hyping up “The already talented Jett Lawrence” it’ll honestly kill the sport. I’ve been watching since 2003 and now I don’t even bother watching the 450 motos…. Fans constantly want to root for the next up and coming guy. FYI…. Mookie, Deegan, Levi Kitchen, Shimoda etc
