I love reason redrum, I use it in Logic. I was a reason 1 user who abandoned them after version 5 for Logic. I came back around reason 9. Reason is awesome amd although no DAW does everything perfect, it’s nice to be able to use reason inside of other daws. I think the owners are very humble for allowing that functionality. I think more conpanies should think of ways to work together rather than compete and try to squash each other. I view all hardware/software as tools. I’m not a fanboy of any particular brand or product.
Interesting topic... Brilliant presentation ... I have just updated to Reason 13 and low and behold... An exception when trying to locate new files... A bug would you believe .... Interested if you have updated and found anything of the like?
I started on Reason 4 back in 2007. It taught me a lot. I personally dont like to use two daws at once. I feel the perfect daw will have everything I need within it. I love Reasons built in SSL like mixer and its classic drum sequencer. I use Logic Pro X now. I wish it had one.
Sometimes I feel like I'm the only Logic user who still wants to hold on to his old Reason stuff. Thanks for doing this video. I've given up lately, or at least, put on hold, the idea of using anything NOT Logic stock related, because of so many buggy behaviors in the past on older iMacs and Mac Book Pros. What OS are you using and what are your computer's specs? I hear the best way to alleviate these struggles with incompatible software, is to have TWO rigs. One for your work, and one "experimental" rig, to test out the latest versions of things...if you catch my drift.
I’m on the base Mac Studio Ultra model with the latest OSX. Once I turned off all 3rd party plugins, Reason seems to work better. Now, I just need to slowly turn everything back on. 🤣

Is it possible to create a pattern lane in Logic while using the Drum Sequencer of Reason?
Is delay compensation available in the rack?

Too bad Reason rip off their customers with a subscription model. Deal breaker for me.
I just upgraded versions (to 12)and bought the version without subscribing. Is there something O don’t know here?
It's actually a pretty good sub considering the amount of stuff you get. Oh, and you can still buy it normally.
@@RoryChandler what’s the fuss then??🤔
You can buy it too. I just got the upgrade from 10 to 12.
You can still buy it
