*Fun Fact:* Sometimes I wish Super Mario Galaxy 3 existed as early as the Nintendo Wii days, just so that I could fantasize a licensed Wii Game Disc titled *Super Mario Galaxy Trilogy* , in a similar vein to how it was officially done with games like Metroid Prime and Rayman Raving Rabbids. It just intrigues me how incredible it was to have 3 whole/entire Wii games (or sometimes GC games) merged into a single Wii Disc (albeit through Dual-Layered builds).
There is a 100% chance that the next game has an original subtitle. The only reason they ever did a Super Mario Galaxy 2 was because they had too many additional ideas. Original Galaxy 2 was just going to be DLC for Super Mario Galaxy.
They should come up with more ideas then

loved this video! your ideas are so good!! it makes me excited considering if u have this much creativity, imagine the creativity behind a giant studio, i mean galaxy 2 was because everyone had so many different ideas! galaxy 3 is probably always in the back of their minds,, i hope it'll be a release alongside with their new console...

I think it'd be weird to Have a Mario Galaxy 3 with insane graphics, but then you go back to the first two. . and yeah. It'd be an amazing thought though.
They should actually do like a spiritual successor to Galaxy, possibly merging in stuff from Odyssey, large open planets as big as the lake in Bowsers Fury and smaller platforming levels in between as you travel through space. Just call it something like Mario Universe

07:01 I appreciate you attempting to keep things fresh for the story of Galaxy 3, unlike most Galaxy 3 predictors, but maybe instead of Bowser, we could fight a new villain and Bowser could be an ally instead like in Sparks of Hope. Bowser being the villain again, even without kidnapping Peach, would still feel like the same story again.
I do enjoy whenever bowser has to team up with Mario, so good point

Ok jokes aside, my galaxy 3 villain theory has always been polari, the old assistant luma from the first game. I mean the very concept of an old luma implies not being able to let go, and I think it ties in perfectly with the general mario galaxy themes.
Also the wii crossbow reference wasn't lost on me

If Mario Galaxy 3 would have more open-world gameplay then I hope that there would be more power ups that aren’t on a countdown.

@@K.A.R.Gaming They were on a time limit because they were following the Mario 64 style of handling power-ups, both in terms of being timed and how they were utilized in level design, so same reason Vanish Cap and Metal Cap were similarly timed (as well as the Super Mushroom in 64 DS). Galaxy, despite being considered by many to be among the "linear" 3D Marios because of the way many of its individual missions often play out in level design, is still designed in terms of the core gameplay (and progression structure/level organization) directly after and in the same style as Mario 64, and so most things in Galaxy work in the same way or similarly to Mario 64 as opposed to how they work in 2D Mario or the 3D Land games. And that extends to some of the power-ups like the Fire and Ice Flowers and Rainbow Star being handled like the Metal and Vanish caps (apparently Rainbow Mario is even called "metal Mario" internally from what I've heard, interestingly), and the Red Star literally just being an upgraded OP Wing Cap with almost identical controls, and all having similar timer lengths to their 64 equivalents. Though of course Galaxy also introduces new power-ups that don't follow that 64 behavior, but they're also things that completely transform Mario and how he moves, like Boo Mario, Spring Mario, and even Bee Mario as it takes away almost all your different kinds of jumps except the normal one, unlike these other timed ones or the ones in 64.
Also, Bowser actually already captured Rosalina in Galaxy 2, and not just her but the entire observatory, though that's not revealed in the game until you get to the final Bowser level itself.
5:22 WAIT THAT DESIGN'S OFFICIAL?? I thought it was just a semi-popular fanart design of what a casual Rosalina might look like, didn't know it was an ACTUAL CONCEPT ART design! And it was for MARIO ODYSSEY of all games? Dang we got robbed. Seeing that design of Rosalina brought into the actual game would have been so ho--err I mean cool to see.

Really cool ideas! For the hubworld, maybe it could be a lot more open again with a bigger planet to explore, and from there you can also take the Purple Comet into different galaxies!

I like all the galaxy references but that sadly doesn’t mean much for galaxy 3, they reference sunshine almost as much as galaxy but that doesn’t mean we are getting a sunshine 2

@@K.A.R.GamingNo, Sunshine gets way more references. It’s referenced twice in Galaxy 2 in the forms of Starshine Beach Galaxy and Twisty Trials Galaxy, the former of which even brings back Piantas. It’s referenced in the Mario movie with a Sunshine advertisement or something. It gets a costume in Odyssey. It was originally on the globe in Odyssey as well. It’s referenced in Mario Kart Double Dash, DS, Wii, 7, Tour, 8 and 8DX with the courses based on it and the Piantas and Nokis showing up as spectators. It’s referenced in some of the sport games, Smash Bros, etc.

5:29 They used Daisy instead of Rosalina because they wanted more female playable characters, and Rosalina wouldn't make sense to show up in a game that doesn't involve a space setting (Wonder effect notwithstanding).
They used daisy cause she a better character and more popular.

11:16 Please no. I don't want to play the entire game a second time with the only difference being the character you play as. That was honestly stupid in Galaxy, and I prefer how Galaxy 2 handled it with Luigi being unlocked mid adventure.
Come to think of it, why just Mario and Luigi? I’d like a bigger variety of characters to play as.
Haha, I was kind of joking with the Luigi bit. Luigi controls a bit distantly than Mario and can allow for different skips and glitches, but I agree it was tedious to play the whole game over again

Sorry if you criticize for thinking about my huge wish, but as much as I admit a third Super Mario Galaxy game sounds very awesome, exciting, and interesting, thinking about it also has me thinking about my wish. I really there was another 3D action Mario game titled Super Mario Majestia. I will be glad to see about a Super Mario Galaxy 3 with other Mario galaxy fans someday, but I imagine the excitements including Super Mario Majestia and its new Mario characters. I hope other people sees no offense in this.
What would this Super Mario Majestia be about?
@@mariobroultimate1808 Super Mario Majestia would be about Mario, Luigi, Peach, and a group of Toads meeting and befriending some new Mario characters from a mysterious distant land. Lead by Mario, he goes on a quest to save and restore the missing area parts of the land which have been separated during a huge attack by Bowser and his minions. In this 3D action game, Mario uses a magical staff to his advantage in fighting enemies and do all sorts of stuff with it. Would you like to find out my characters as well?

They are human mages from the land known as Majestia. Kiemonte is the wise, mature, and respectful leader and ruler who guides his fellow mages and other friends. Sunari the dancing mage and Neyla the mind mage are fraternal sisters and assistants of Kiemonte who do their best to help him and others in need. Xavior is his close friend and mage decipherer.
@@mariobroultimate1808 He is also like the fifth after Mario, Luigi, Wario, and Waluigi. What I mean is I imagine Xavior looking something similar to those 4 seeing how comparable they are. As for Gerodi and Jalrez, they are Kiemonte's 2 mage guards. Defense is Gerodi's specialty and offense is his partner and rather best friend Jalrez's specialty. What do you think of them? I think some people would like them if they were official. Also, sorry to say this, but about the land, I have not exactly gotten into much detail with it yet.
People always ask for a Galaxy 3, but hate getting 4 New Soup games that are basically the same? Makes no sense. A Galaxy 3 would be the exact same as Galaxy 2 and Galaxy 1, and because of that, it would end up suffering the same fate as the New Soup games. So what’s the difference?
@@generalcrab0009 the difference is my suggestion of “shaking up the formula” with the botw reference. It wouldn’t just be a copy and paste of galaxy 1 and 2. They would implement more design changes and new elements that it would feel like an entirely new game, just like odyssey when it first came out

@@generalcrab0009 yeah, they would, bc this is Nintendo we’re talking about. I agree that they held on to the New Soup series for a generation too long, but that’s pretty much the only example. Everywhere else you look, Nintendo has been pushing their innovation as time draws nearer to the release of the switch 2 (imo)

Unpopular opinion, but I hope they do an HD remake/remaster of Mario Galaxy 2 for the Switch or its successor with not only updated graphics, but also Rosalina as a playable character with exclusive levels, a story book about Lubba, and an improved final boss battle to make it more challenging.

Nintendo is done whit mario in space. They only way they make a space theme mario game is if it a spinoff or RPG. Lots of mario games get reference galaxy no different your reaching. Nintendo has not done anything important whit rosalina sense the wii U era. She don't even have a mascot in the mario parade like daisy does. She a b-list character Nintendo only use when they feel like using her.
